My loved one is currently a resident at Atria Rancho Mirage and overall her experience at this facility has been okay so far. The staff are good and are all very friendly. The food is okay. Breakfast is great, lunch is okay and dinner is bland and lacks texture (according to my loved one). Due to budget cuts, the doors are unlocked with no one at the front desk for 30 minutes each night. That's a huge security issue. Overall, I would probably recommend Atria Rancho Mirage to others.

there was a lot of confusion with the place. the apartment was filthy when we took possession and my parents were moving in a few weeks later. i figured it would be cleaned weekly so it would get clean by the time they moved in but in fact no one ever cleaned it. the amenities didn't work (cable) and they kept telling me they did despite me clearly sending pictures they didn't work. they switched the rate for the second person between the time we signed up and when my parents moved in. after my parents moved in i realized no one had ever cleaned under the appliances and it was covered in crumbs from previous tenants and dead cockroaches. overall the response i got from the front desk and the administration was pretty awful. as mentioned the apartment had never been cleaned. dead flying bugs on the floor when we took possession. the tops of cabinets were grimey and uncleaned under appliances had never been cleaned it seems but definitely not between the last tenants and my parents. most staff have been friends but a couple were pretty rude. i assume they were just having a bad day tho. meals seem ok. when my parents moved in no one gave them a tour or explained anything to them so they couldn't figure out where to go for food. when they went to the dining room, no one seated them or served them when they sat down. i think because atria had recently had a fire that perhaps things were out of the ordinary, but my parents had a really rocky time settling in at atria and aren't feeling too comfortable there as a result. i don't get the impression the admin of atria really is worried about it since they already moved in. low value for cost because they told me the second person fee is based on the apartment size. why? they pay for the apartment. the second person fee just covers meals and activities for person 2. how does that relate to the size of the apartment? the whole thing feels like a money grab especially since the sales person quoted me one price and the lease had a price that was hundreds more per month for person

My loved one is currently a resident at Coterie Hudson Yards and overall his experience at this facility so far has been okay. The meals and the resident's rooms are both good. However, the nursing care that is provided is way less than ideal a nd that is the main reason for my loved one being there. All in all, I am not sure if I would recommend Coterie Hudson Yards to others or not.

Our family had an in person tour with Atria Grand Oaks and Atria is more for people who do not need assistance, it was very costly and not in a beautiful setting.

I was excited given I needed assisted-living due to my health, having heard amazing things about this place for years being from NYC. Sadly, it was a very mixed and disappointing experience lasting only 5 months not my lifetime! Some staff were helpful, kind and supportive; others nasty, lazy and even vindictive to others! Also, several staff left while I was there because of the significant turmoil going on; hence service became even more inconsistent (ie few missed meals and several missed Saturday laundry services, etc) The best part was my social worker (who then left soon after I arrived!), my personal housekeeper, one maintenance man and a few front desk staff, a couple people in management & my nurses. The food was delicious plus the gorgeous rooftop/views amazing! Some management were incredibly absent and/or difficult (ie housekeeping and business office) Also, some “rules” and positive features even in print (handbook) on arrival randomly changed or stopped without warning.

Well, I wasn't actually there to see the place. My husband was the one who moved my father-in-law in and was there with him most of the time. He did like the friendliness of it. I know he liked the meals going down for breakfast and lunch and dinner. I know he thought it was a nice clean place. He didn't take advantage of the activities you had there. He wasn't interested in that unfortunately. But what it came down to really was that he just wanted to go home. So we gave him that opportunity to go back home and see how he would do there.

We picked this community, because they had independent living and it's only 10 minutes from my home. Other places nearby only had assisted living. I would tell people to look around and talk to current residents to get their thoughts. My loved one told me long-time residents said the place went downhill after Covid. It was much better pre-2020.

It is a beautiful place and my mom is starting to feel comfortable but there was really no greeting commitee or group to welcome her and show her around. I did recommend and still would. Just wish they would get their administration straight. We picked this community, because of the geographic location and price. They are not responsive with concerns about issues in apartments or financial issues. Takes multiple asks, phone calls and/or emails.

It's a nice place. They sell it as a cruise ship with all these activities and there are not that many activities. They have had issues with keeping employees especially the cook the food has gone down a lot in quality. It takes 40 minutes to get dinner and the residence are afraid to say anything because of being retaliated.

We picked this community, because of the location and activities offered. Be very careful about the contract terms and get clear dates on signing, taking possession and move-in. They are a bit shady in this area.

The residents are friendly and welcoming and many of the staff members are also. Residents who have lived at Atria at the Arboretum for several years tell us that there has been a decline in services over the past several years and residents are moving out due to that and due to the steep increases in rent they have received. The restaurant seems to be always short staffed, but the staff there work hard. Much of the food is well-prepared, but there is a lack of healthy low-carb/low-sugar options. The executive director recently left and a new one will be arriving in a month, so we are hopeful to see improvement in these areas: staffing, maintenance, housekeeping, responsiveness of staff, security, and food.

The community was nice and seemed quiet when we visited. We didn't meet many people there. We liked Anchor Bay's location on the wildlife preserve better.

My mother has lived here for 2 years and the rent has increased 40% so they get you in with a good rate and then quickly increasing it to epic proportions. According to mom, the food is inedible, often served cold and without flavor or variety. Periodically they come in and throw away all her food, which is stuffed in the tiny fridge because she refuses to eat in the dining room and cooks in the microwave. They won’t allow a toaster or a hot water kettle for tea. They also don’t wash the dishes though they do other cleaning. Nobody has cleaned under the bed in a long time, I dropped something and looked under there last week and… yuck. The good part is that it seems like a nice community and I do like that they don’t allow the doors to lock so staff can easily get in if there is a problem. Someone checks in a couple times a day. The car service is very convenient.

We picked this community because of proximity to familiy. They have very friendly staff, and they are attentive to needs of family and residents. I would recommend to other families.

Staff is friendly, but it is very difficult to find out exactly what services are being provided. The food that is served is bland and not tasteful. Would like to see weekly or monthly reports on care given or refused by my parents. Survey residents on satisfaction with food and make recommended changes. Overall these are some of the improvements I think that they could make.

They wanted to have a 30-day trial basis for my loved one. And I wasn't going for that - to move her in, and then if they didn't feel she would be a good fit then move her out. Not happy with that.

The food is really pretty poor. I hear the continental breakfast and lunch is a joke and being an insomniac, I just never went. Dinner is boring at best and small portions. I'm comparing it to the food at my previous facility, which hand a much larger menu with full breakfast and lunches and dinner. Here even the potatoes are garlic flavored. It really needs improvement. People here said it has gone downhill since COVID. The staff is the best thing in terms of friendliness, but not to good in follow through. Housekeeping is iffy. The place also needs updating and maintenance, like room heating and A/c are old. In terms of if it's a good value for the price- it's better than some but still very pricey.

Atria Park was very large. Very hectic. Felt less homey and more hospital like. Parking was difficult. I was given a space in their small lot, but was warned that the police were very aggressive in giving tickets to street parking. They did give me a homemade apple crumb pie!

They drastically raised my loved one's rent after being there for only four months, around a $[removed] increase! Instead of having enough money for around 6 years, he's now down to 2.5. I will probably have to find a new place for him soon that's less expensive, but I don't know if I can. I would just say make them put in writing that rent won't be raised for 12 months and then only a reasonable percentage. If they can make that happen, then I would recommend them.

The independent living is nice. The assisted living feels lonely. We had some issues with medications being given incorrectly. But it's clean, and the women at the front desk are very nice.
