My loved one was not there for very long. I had no problems until after we moved her things out. They double charged me over a month ago, and they have not returned a refund to me. I keep calling them weekly, and they keep putting me off.

I toured this facility and was not impressed. It seems very run down, the room was dated and had water stains on the ceiling, the dining staff looked very unprofessional. I noticed that none of the staff interacted with each other or the residents the during the tour. Definitely not a place I would choose for my loved one.

The staff went overboard when we were signing rental papers but after that it went downhill. They charge hundreds& hundreds if you ask for extra help. My mom had care level 1 which only included giving her assistance to & from dining 2x daily. She fixed her own breakfast. When they were quarantined for 3 weeks at a time (this happened twice) she was still charged for that assistance even though dining areas were closed. I argued with them about this & they finally gave her a refund for those [time frame removed]. I'm sure they refunded no one else. Maintenance workers very very slow to repair anything. Her Spectrum tv was to be complimentary monthly but she was charged. It took [time frame removed] for me to get that worked out. My mom was only there [time frame removed] when she fell in her kitchen & broke her shoulder/arm. I moved her to a residential 24 hour care home which she loves. While she was in the hospital & rehab, no one from the facility ever called me to see how she was doing. That upset me. All they want is your money & try to add on more monthly charges. I pity the residents that do not have family that monitor their care.

My parents paid for six months before they even moved in and never got a call why they hadn't moved. Hard to get calls returned.

A lot of the people are very nice but they are very understaffed. It is very lovely to look at and staff are super accommodating. But because of them being short staffed, the waiting time for the call button is very long. We have mentioned it to people in charge on multiple occasions. Some days they will be there in the 15 minutes but others they are not. I could not recommend them right now because of these staffing issues.

Atria Collwood had extremely tiny rooms and is located on an extremely busy corner with very little parking. The grounds were ok, but its just a huge place squished into a tiny, busy corner.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was okay, we felt things were a little wishy washy and just decided this wasn't the place for our loved one

I would not recommend Atria North Point based on our experience. There have been several Directors that have already left the community after having my loved one in the community for a brief amount of time, and this is concerning to me. There are three meals a day, and my loved one doesn't care for the food. We were told the community would provide restaurant-quality food with plates and on linens. Recently my loved one was served cold fish in a Styrofoam container and I ended up taking my loved one out to eat after seeing this.

Overall our loved one is very happy with the people that she has interacted with so far, the staff members all have been very friendly. She is very happy with how she is being treated.

My parents lived at Atria Cinco Ranch for about a year. The maintenance was not very good. The building itself was really new, but had structural problems. The quality of the food was good when they first got there, but it went downhill. The costs after a year had increased by [price removed]. The staff were nice, but nice can only go so far when you're not getting what you're supposed to get. My parents were not happy here for a few reasons; the quality of life was poor, the massive increase of monthly rent, and they were not receiving the services they were paying for.

I think the staff could do a better job of making the families feel that they are working collaboratively rather than it seeming like the facility vs. the family members.

The tour was good and the community was good in its own way. We found a community that was all inclusive and this was something that we were looking for with our loved one. My loved one needed medication assistance and more and having somewhere that did not charge extra for this was a benefit.

The tour was ok, but they were in the middle of going through some staffing changes. They really wanted her here but we were just not ready and had things to do, we felt the staff was a little pushy. The facility also has multiple levels and we were nervous that would be an issue. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

This was a nice community. It didn't have the 2 bedroom apartment available when we needed it.

This community seemed to want to put my mom immediately into memory care and that would have not been the right environment for her. They also had a sign that says interviewing for all positions and no experience necessary and it was just a little unnerving 3 when i showed up they were not expecting me and that was awkward. They also had a covid outbreak in memory care so we couldn't see much at the time.

We toured Atria Cranford and it was very nice and hotel like. We didn't see any of the residents out and about. They were all in their rooms, whereas at the other communities we saw them all engaged in different activities. Because there was no one around, it kind of gave off a weird vibe and that's why we chose a different place.

Village Green has only been open for about 18 months; the staff has changed before my eyes and I've only been here for 2 months. overall they're on their 3rd or 4th executive director. the aides themselves are changing and they are very understaff. because of that, the residents are suffering. my loved one is incapable of doing anything on his own, and the response time to his pendant is very slow - it takes them about 30 minutes to an hour to reach him. they wouldn't know if he's ringing because he needs help to the bathroom or because he's having a heart attack and that's very concerning. their excuse for that is always, "because we are understaffed". the staff are overall nice, but because they are so overworked they can get a little rude, and I get that. I respect them and we give them praise for their work, but I'm worried about my loved one and his care. they have a brand new director who I am in constant communication with and I'm hoping he will turn this ship around. my sibling and I visit often and we'll run into other visitors who share their concern, so I know we aren't the only family who feels this way. I'm so thrilled that Village Green is so close to my home, I'm very grateful for that. I wish I could give them a better glowing review, but if I was looking for a place at this very moment I'd want to hear the honesty of someone living here.

Overall rating is a 3 because of good and staff shortages. Very efficient - remembers things - always looks lovely. She makes the folks laugh and happy. Always on time - I trust her and like her so much! She (keeps her word) hard worker.

I didn’t like the fact that there were apartments upstairs and downstairs - it made it feel more like a standard apartment complex. I just didn’t get a warm and friendly feeling when we visited. And the apartments were older.
