It's only been a little over a month but things are looking pretty good. It's kept very clean. The activities are very good. She likes the food, I would say that is a five as well. I would like them to be a little more responsive to requests. I chose them for the value, and I liked the location, it's easy for me to get to.

They are doing a pretty good job. The staff is exceptionally friendly. When we first were looking we told them that it would be nice if they had some fruit bearing trees, by the time we moved in, they had replaced some of the trees, with a few more fruit trees. I think they may have been already considering it, but it was a nice gesture.

I give Atria Covina Assisted Living 4 stars!!

Sent info to parents, father was very impressed. I felt it was a younger property for them, and too large for their needs. Also, the one year lease was the deal breaker.

Overall we're very pleased with Atria Longmont! It's an attractive, clean, well kept community, and the staff are all incredibly friendly! The aide staff in particular are just fantastic, they bend over backwards to make sure anything you ask of them gets taken care of immediately. They also do a great job with the dining service, the food is absolutely excellent!

Nice facility, nice staff. Grounds are nice as are the rooms. A real possibility.

I took a look at the facility on Sat, Aug 23. I was especially pleased with the high percentage of male residents since I am looking at locaitons for my Dad. The drive would be far and difficult for my Mom. However, this location would be kept in mind once the assessment of my Dad's medication and care is complete at the hospital.

Seems like almost the perfect facility for my mom. Ken and I are going back Sunday. Very clean, nice people, lots of activities and room options.

I toured this community when I was looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place overall, it was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed friendly and professional. This was a large community, and had more of a hotel feel than a homey feel in many areas. Although it was nice it was also one of the more expensive options I saw while touring.

The initial impact was fabulous! Working with the staff, the appearance, what they offered, the food, the cleanliness, everything in living was more than a five, it was excellent. What we knew about and should have given more thought to, was that they don't take medicaid, when you run out of money you have to move them. There is a rent fee, and a level of care fee, so when they see what level of care they are at they determine what level of price they will be at. When the level of care goes up the price will go up so you have to know that you will be able to still afford it, or they will have to move. For the first two weeks or month they take them around, and up and down the elevators, but after that they are on their own. Of course you can pay for an escort to take them up and down the elevator, but there is an extra charge. They didn't come and visit my loved one when they had to go to rehab, and they told me they would. When you first come and visit they bend over backwards and they go all out, it's just fabulous. They don't have physical therapy there, they don't have it there so you would have to go out of the facility to get that. They don't have skilled nursing there. They have standard safety measures, cords and things, and they have beautiful outdoor terraces, and they keep the residents constantly busy, that part is fabulous. If you are independent and don't need much help then they are fabulous, but even then eventually your care needs will go up and you may have to move.

Overall I think they do an excellent job at Atria Golden Creek, and in particular I've been impressed with their memory care unit, which I would certainly rate a 5! Unlike some of the other facilities I toured the residents in their memory care section seemed alert, stimulated, and social. I was also very impressed by knowledge and professionalism shown by the staff member who gave us our tour!

Wonderful place, but too expensive and too fancy for my mom.

The director of the facility was helpful and knowledgeable about the needs of our family member. I felt after touring this was a place anyone would pick if they needed a nice homey place for their parent.

Beautiful building and common areas. VERY clean and new. Apartments are a nice size. No need to walk outside to get to main building. The menu items are very varied and the activities are extensive. 3 meals a day except for Sunday. Pool area is very inviting. If this was within my Mother's budget it would be where she would live.

After checking out many possibilities in the NY/CT area, we realized that no place would fit all our criteria. We decided this Atria would, on balance, be best for my 94-year-old mother. She had been quite isolated; she seems happy with the change and has thanked us for arranging it. My one concern is that she could become ill enough at some point (she isn't ill now) that they would no longer keep her, and it's not clear what we could find at that point that would be nurturing and supportive rather than a basic-care unit.

They do a really good job. They are clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's a lot of money, that's really the only negative thing. They have great activities. She loves the food. This was the only place that would accept her, when we were looking, we have a unique set of circumstances. I would highly recommend them.

We have already toured ATRIA and find it appears to be a lovely and well run facility. My mission at this time is exploratory I want to acquaint myself with what my options might be. Thank you so much for your guidancem
