Atria

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved ones. I thought this was a very nice place overall. The staff were friendly and professional, and the facility itself was nice looking and clean. Atria was definitely somewhere we were considering for our loved one, but we went with somewhere a located a bit closer to relatives.

We liked this place however, it is aimed more at Independant living than Assisted. For Mom's extra care, we would have to hire in help.

Overall I think they do a great job at Atria of Forest Hills! We were really impressed by what we saw during our tour, and the sales woman that we worked with was absolutely phenomenal. She really advocated for us in terms of both the price of the unit as well as getting us a room that suited his needs. The staff here have all been very friendly, and they take great care of the residents. Our loved one really seems to have a new lease on life, he is meeting all kinds of new people and participating in lots of activities! The one area I think they could improve in would be their transition program for new residents. There wasn't really any sort of orientation, and Dad has been learning as he goes.

I came here for a tour. I went there for lunch and the food was good. The facility is well-maintained, and I liked a couple of their little apartments. The staff is very friendly, and the pricing is better than the other places, for me. So far this is my first choice.

We looked here when we were considering places. My aunt really liked it here. She ultimately decided that she didn't need to make this move yet, and stayed home to save money. It was nice though, and the people were nice.

The staff at Atria Park of Glen Ellyn does really well with a very difficult job. There are, of course, a lot of elderly people staying there and many of them are not all there mentally. The environment can be very tough to work in, but I got to give them five stars for doing all that they do.

Our loved one's stay here was unfortunately only a very brief one, but overall Atria Riverdale seemed like a very nice place. It was a nicely decorated, clean, well kept community, and they had a lot to provide for their residents. They had a good variety of activities, and also seemed to do a good job with the food. Unfortunately on his first day here my loved one suffered a bad fall and was not able to return. We moved him in on a Saturday, and they seemed to have fewer staff available on weekends.

I think they are doing a good job. They like everyone on the staff that they have dealt with. They don't have visitor parking, so when you come to visit you have to find a place to park. The food gets mixed reviews, mom likes it but dad thinks it's bland. One thing I didn't really notice at first was how many of the population are religiously observant Jewish, they even have a Rabbi on staff. I don't really see any evidence of Christianity anywhere.

They have a really great family setting at Atria at St. Joseph’s. The staff is excellent. They are really friendly and make you feel welcome and at home. The food also is very good. They also had a lot of really good activities. All in all I was very pleased.

This place buzzed with activity... in part due to our timing (arrived as people were gathering for a program, plus renovation work made some common areas smaller). Multicultural, highly social community was a plus. More urban feel than other sites we visited. Staff stood out as extremely friendly and attentive.

Beautiful facility, lovely grounds with lots of outdoor walking/sitting areas; FULL calendar of diverse programming; generous policy providing rides to medical appts. across Westchester. Downsides: pricy, and one apt. we visited had prominent smell of stale urine (carpet not yet cleaned). Liked the integrated approach - assisted living with independent. Pet-friendly!

I think they need to do a better job in the sales portion. They talk about this voucher that you're really likely to get, but once you get all signed up, it turns out you're not real likely to get it. The facility is really nice, and the people there are very friendly, getting to know the residents and their families personally.

I liked this facility, very clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and all the residents all seemed happy and healthy. Rooms are very spacious and clean

They had a really good menu with excellent food. The supervisor and staff at Atria Tinton Falls were excellent. The only reason we left was to get independent living, as they only had assisted care. But it was a great experience and for anyone needing assisted living I would highly recommend Atria Tinton Falls.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a nice looking place. The common areas weren't quite as impressive as some other places we had seen, but overall It is clean and well kept, and the people here all seem very friendly.

They are very expensive but, but then I know most places like this are, and they certainly deliver the value for the money. The one area I can think of where they can improve is with proactive communication. Because every one of my parents children live out of state, communication is imperative when something happens, or just to update us every now and then on how things are going. Every time I call they return my calls, but I would like to have a little more of the communication be proactive on their end. The facility is wonderful. It is very clean, and the food is excellent. The individuals who have helped out have been just simply wonderful! Kim Moore (sales) and Jennifer Frost (memory care) have been phenomenal. I could not have asked for anyone more caring and kind than they have been!

We really like it a lot at Atria Bell Court Gardens. It has been a very pleasing and overall satisfying experience, and one we would certainly recommend.

My loved one lived here close to two years. They were very kind and very nice. She really liked it here. There was one time that it took twenty minutes to get help when she called. They were very good at assisted living but they just don't offer the level of care that we were beginning to need. The building is older and some of the bathrooms aren't very accessible. They had one dining room for everyone so my loved one could mingle with all of the residents, so there is always someone she could talk to. They have a chef here and the food was really good, they are the only place in the area that can say that, I hear. Some of the staff really went out of their way to help her and to be nice. I would recommend it for anyone that doesn't need too much care.

Everything has gone great so far with Atria Briarcliff Manor, we're very happy we found it! The staff, have all been very friendly, and it has a warm, comfortable atmosphere. They also do a good job with the food, it has tasted great any time I’ve had it. They are worth a look, if you are looking into care options in the area!

We are very happy with them.The people at Atria were nicer and more real, than at some of the other places we saw. I didn't feel like they were just trying to get us in here. It's very clean, I have never come and seen it not clean. I have heard some of the attendants say that after dinner there isn't much to do, but during the day they keep them really busy. My mom is really happy, and she's happy with the food too. We have had lunch with them, when we came to visit, and it was good.
