Atria

Having my mother go from an apartment by herself to Atria, she seems to be better. She's not so isolated. They do look after their tenants and they listen to your concerns and help you out. I've had some concerns about my mother and I talked to the management and we are working together to get her situated. I would recommend it. They've got a whole board of activities. They have bingo, go out to lunch, shopping, church - anywhere they want to go, they can go. That's the best part. They have wine and cheese tasting and entertainment coming in. The food is great - I know, I've eaten it. They have a private dining room that you can reserve for just your family for birthday parties or Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's really nice. It's a small community with maybe 62 residents.

Too expensive. It is amazing!

We've been relatively happy with them. The problems we've had have been resolved. They have games, trivia, getting her hair and nails done, excercise. The food is good.

It's really nice. We're really happy with it! Unfortunately my mother-in-law now needs more 24hr care so I think we'll have to look for something else. For what we got I think the value is very good. Kinghaven checks on you every two hours and I don't know if that's enough for my mother-in-law anymore. I thought the activites were good. I think they offered a lot but my mother-in-law didn't go to a lot of them so I can't say how good they actually were.

Very nice property - I like especially that this option has people living in apartments as opposed to small rooms. It gives people the sense of independence while still offering services. Seems to have a very active social climate among the residents.

liked it a lot, large room, nice & clean. Only minus is no tub baths.

lunch was good; they had a Labor Day BBQ; we spoke to some people and they were friendly; some residents were Jewish; M thought interior was dark inside; the studio was small and we were unable to see a 1 BR but they are twice as big with two baths; staff were nice

Mom & I met with Anthony on 8/28 and Linda on 8/29. Excellent facility. Access Home Care option seems excellent; spoke with Heather on 8/30 about services from Cluster to 24hr live-in aide. Spoke with Anthony about Mom's behavior and car. 8/30 gave verbal commitment for 1 bedroom.

It is a very good community that we have been pleased with. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall we are just pleased with what they provide and offer. We really have not complaints about it and I would recommend this community to anyone.

The atria is an absolutely fantastic place. We were very very very impressed with everything about it. We should have put her here probably years before, she absolutely loved the place. I have to tell ya, the day before she really began to decline, they had some musical entertainment with women in soldier uniforms and they sang songs that she used to sing when she was in the USO and she was absolutely thrilled with it. It was the very next day that she began to go downhill and they weren't equipped to handle the care she needed. The caregivers were compassionate and even went beyond what they should have done but they took to mom and they sat with her and spent time with her. They were so kind to her that I would certainly recommend them to anybody, the food is awesome, they can go to the dining room and eat pretty much whenever they want. I would even go here

Beautiful facility.

Atria Harborhill is a very beautiful community. Everything was really good here and we really liked it but decided to choose a different community. It just seemed like the residents here were not as warm and welcoming as in other communities we were considering. It just seemed a bit colder.

We liked this facility real well. We are going to be in contact with Lisa.

Atria, I kind of fell in love with. When I'm ready it is probably one that I would elect to join or put my name down. It had everything you could possibly want. It's very beautiful and comfortable with 3 meals a day. I loved where it was down town and the person showing me around was just delighful as can be. Of all the ones that I saw this was the one that I thought was the best for me.

Loved the activity director here. This would be active enough for my handicap brother I really liked the independence the clients seem to ave and the social activities. Will be bringing my Dad to view this one too!!

When my mom first moved in the food was terrible and the dining was not that great. Ever since they hired Rich, the new master chef, everything has been great. There was a lot of salt in the preparation of the food and they're starting to cut that down. My mom loves the place. She says the cost is well worth it. She goes on the driving trips. It's nice but they need another transportation vehicle becuase there are only 13 seats in the van so it fills up right away and some people that sign up for the trip don't get to go. They've told her that they're working on that. The only problem was the dining and they're getting that together. They also need a bigger dining room for the amount of people that are there.

What led us to choose Atria is the availability of different levels of care. You do not have to move if you need a higher level of care. You can go in independent and stay in the same room if you end up needing assistance. The meal plans they have was also a big factor. Overall we are pleased with Atria and I would recommend them to anyone.

I appreciate everything these facilities offer and I know Atria is a top-notch place. But for now, I think we have some general info to give our mom if she reverts back to her old ways.

My uncle was there and the reason he moved was to have a little cost savings. He was very, very happy there but he needed to cut back his expenses so we had to find something else. The food service was very good there. The have a regualr chef. I've eaten there many times and I would eat ther many times again!
