They are a wonderful community. I wish I could give them a higher rating in friendliness. The friendliness of the staff was one of the deciding factors when I chose this community. The community was just very warm and inviting. I looked at other communities and they weren't bad communities, Atria Del Rey just was better. It was exactly what we were looking for. They check on the residents and do all the big cleaning and laundry. They try involving the residents and try to keep them engaged. The food is excellent and it is located right next to a city park. The residents can just go there and walk around the park. We have already recommended them to people and would continue to recommend them.

Beautiful facility and grounds, expensive

We like this place best so far for a short-term stay for Mom, and it looks like it could have long-term potential. Barb Mattesich was great. We left a $1,000 deposit and we're trying to get Mom to try Rye Brook for a month.

When we visited the community it just seemed like the environment was the perfect fit for the situation we were in. Our loved one likes it here the food is good, it's not like home cooking but it is good. The landscaping is very nice and well maintained.

We looked at a number of communities and we selected Atria Rye Brook because their staff really seemed like they cared about the residents. They were always very honest and upfront. The community is a very pretty area. They do what they say they are going to do down to the smallest detail. They have no complaints from me. Not only would I recommend them to anyone but I already have recommended them.

Everything at Atria Bay Spring Village has been nothing but positive! We toured several other quality facilities but Atria Bay Spring won out mostly because of its location. The other places we saw looked just as nice and offered comparable services. Our experience with Atria Bay Spring Village has been simply outstanding and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

They were great. I wish my mother had gotten to enjoy it longer (she passed away recently)

The location was very convenient for our family. It seemed like it would suit our loved ones ethnic background. The community itself is a very beautiful place. Everyone here seems to be really well cared for and things just looked like things were running well. Overall it just seemed like it was a good fit for our situation.

(Activities Not Rated) Atria Chandler Villas is really an awesome community. She really loved living here. The food is really good, they have a chef that cooks the food fresh and they use fresh produce not like institutional food there is nothing out of the can here. They have an extremely good response time when a resident pushes the button on the device they give them for free. The response time when our loved one pushed it was really impressive. They allow you to paint the rooms, change out faucets and pretty much do anything else you want to do just to make it your own home. The doors open to the outside so it provides a resort feeling rather then apartments where the doors open into a hallway. The balcony that she has is huge. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. This community is just amazing you just have so much freedom to really live the way you want to. We would recommend them to anyone.

Atria was the best fit for our situation. The staff is really friendly and the community is very clean. The community is really pretty with lot of nice landscaping. There is plenty of places to sit outside and relax. Overall it is a really great community and we are happy with it.

Loved it....a bit high in price

Atria is a very nice community and they have a lot to offer. We really liked the rooms they have and how nice they were. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. The way the activities are set up is really good. The dinning hall is set up like a restaurant instead of having to go in at certain for breakfast, lunch or dinner it is open and you come in when you want and order off a menu they have. We really liked that because it provides more choices and the freedom of eating when you want rather then when you have to. They have a smaller dining area you can reserve to have a birthday party or something of that nature. With all these extras it is probably the reason it is more expensive then other communities we have looked at.

We chose Atria because it is very conveniently located it is only 10 minutes from my house. The atmosphere here is very home like and does not feel like an institution. My mother will be sharing an apartment with two old ladies but will have her own room. With her being in her own room it allows her to bring some of their own furnisher. They provide different levels of care and are a really age in place community. The menu looks like they offer a wide range of meals. My sister and I just felt like this was the best fit for our mom.

I looked at several places and found more than one acceptable, but have been really happy with Atria Sunnyvale. My mom was previously living at Bridgepoint Los Altos which I also endorse, but her cognitive decline created a need for finding a facility that offers memory care. I've visited several times and each time my mom is out of her room participating in activities, sometimes passively but she is included in activities that are suitable for her cognitive level which I really like. Atria's residents have individual rooms which I also liked. My mom's vocabulary has improved since moving to Atria. She made the transition without much trouble. The great thing about Atria is they have enough staff so that they are able to do their job and not be overwhelmed or rushed. Atria Sunnyvale has beautiful grounds and a nice layout but the thing that really makes this place great are the numerous caregivers. They will narrate during activities so that everyone can participate; if they are making a puzzle they will instruct residents to look for a certain color piece to help complete the puzzle. My mom enjoys the sing-alongs, the activities are rewarding and the staff makes her feel she's part of the group.

Although having your loved one leave their home of 50 years is never easy, our advisor at A Place for Mom ( Vanessa Lightbody) and the Sales Director at Atria Bay Shore (Stephanie Collins) both made the process as easy as possible. Both were exceptionally understanding, knowledgeable and friendly over the six months it took for my father to feel comfortable with the decision and for the right apartment to become available. From the day he moved in, my father has been VERY pleased with Atria. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, the meals are better than those at most restaurants, and the surroundings, inside and out, are beautiful and we'll-maintened. Most important of all, I believe they care about my father's health and happiness. Yes , Atria is expensive, but the peace of mind they are giving my father and our family is priceless

The Atria Westchase is a very nice assisted living community. It is clean and well kept and the staff is friendly, helpful and accessible. Each staff member offers to help if anything is needed. There are plenty of group activities available for the residents, as well as medical attention and therapies. The apartment floor plans are nice with good sized kitchenettes. It is a good value for the money!

The best so far - Talk about a 5 star Hotel - WOW

We chose Atria because it was just the best fitting community for the situation we were currently in. The grounds are very well kept and very pretty. The scenery is in fact so pretty we took formal pictures there with my family there was lots of trees and very pretty landscaping. We are very happy with our choice and would recommend to others.

We chose this community because it is located to our friends and family. Atria Kinghaven really have a good reputation around the community. It is located in a suburb but it is surrounded by trees and greenery, which provide several nice places to sit outside and relax.
