My mother was at Atria Bay Spring for a few months but unfortunately was unable to thrive in assisted living care (she wound up going to nursing care). Throughout her time at Atria, I found the staff to be extremely communicative with me and my family and very kind to my mom, despite her unwillingness to take part in her own care. I appreciated their communication and care.

My mom has been in Atria El Camino gardens for less than a month so only have a short time period to review. I will say that everyone has been very helpful with this hard decision to have my mom leave her home of over 60 years. The staff has been very helpful with suggestions and even a hug when needed as I watch my mom try to adjust. Not only support for her but for myself also. They have taken my calls to update me as I live out of town and can not visit on a regular basis. I am happy and pleased to see my mom in a safe place, receiving good meals and being able to participate in activities with others. The facility is very, very clean and the interaction I have seen with staff and residents has been fantastic. Don't feel like I have walked off and left her in a place where they just let them sit or sleep all day and slowly loose what life is about. Hard to write thoughts when your talking about your own parent and what the best but again I feel she is safe and loved.

From the first time I visited, I was impressed by the cleanliness and I liked the decorations and the interior design was very nice. It was a homey atmosphere and everyone was very nice and friendly and they looked happy. My loved one has improved 100% since she has moved in to the Atria. She is now involved in all the activities and she is much better.
