Atria

We came for a tour at Atria Covell Gardens due to a referral from 'A Place for Mom'. We were looking for a place where our parents could remain self sufficient and be with active seniors. We were so pleased with the facility, the staff we met (Sarah Landis) and the spaciousness of the 2 bedroom apartment. On another visit, we had a meal and were sold!!!!! The food was far superior from any another facility we had visited and we liked that our parents could come to eat at any time. We are excited for them to be involved with the many activities that are available (more choices besides cards and bingo). We are happy that they will be settled soon.

We toured a lot of places, the Director Dede went above and beyond making us feel at home. She spent several hours with us and made us feel like our loved one could be right at home. She was warm and inviting from the first initial contact on the phone. We are trying to make a decision between Katy or West Houston...

Things are going very well with Atria Collwood, we've heard nothing but good things! Our loved one really enjoys that they have food available any time you like from 7am to 7pm, and even a little soda station to go get a drink whenever you'd like! They also have an on-site hairdresser and pedicurist. One of the biggest factors in the decision was that they allow pets. They're definitely worth a look if you're looking into senior living in the area!

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice place overall, the facility was nice looking and the people were friendly. They introduced us to all the staff that were available, and everyone seemed friendly and professional. They also seemed to provide a lot of service for the price.

Atria Campana Del Rio is an outstanding home for our mother. She really loves living here, enjoys the companionship of others her age and the delicious meals she gets everyday. She is the happiest she has been since we lost my dad. I am very grateful for Atria Campana Del Rio!

They are doing a great job. We are very very pleased, so far. We would highly recommend it. He has acclimated very, very well. I am familiar with their memory care, as that is the part we use, and I would rate that very highly.

I visited this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a nice looking place! The facility was beautiful, and I'd really like for the rest of my family to see it as well!

We were very impressed with this community and especially with the staff. Every person was friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned. Everything about this place sounded like it aligned with our philosophies.

I toured here when I was looking, it was one of my top two. I ended up going with the other Atria location. It was a little lower of a price point.

We have been very happy with them. It's beautiful, manicured, and the grounds are nice. The staff is friendly, they all know everyone's name. The food is really good. Everything I called and asked them for, a broken glass, or help getting the cable hooked up, they have been really on top of things, they are there in a matter of minutes. They have been fantastic.

The staff all seemed very friendly, and everyone came up to introduce themselves during the tour. The facility itself was beautiful, well kept, and clean. They are definitely worth a look if you're looking for care in the area!

They are amazing. I am very pleased with what they do here. My dad is finally maintaining his weight. Thank goodness there are caring loving people here. They don't know when I'm coming and whenever I show up he is up dressed and bathed with a clean room. If I bring anything up they immediately address it, they don't make excuses, or pass blame. They have the restaurant kind of thing upstairs, but the people downstairs still get very quality food, if they serve something he doesn't really like something, they will order up what he does like. I haven't met one person there that I have had an issue with, not one. Other places had restrictions on visiting hours, or no overnights things like that, and here they had no problems with that, whatever helped get dad settled and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about Atria.

Mom moved into Atria WC in January 2015. I had looked at a number of facilities, and this one just felt right the first time I stepped in the front door. It's bright and clean, and the staffers are friendly and helpful and appear to really care about the residents. They've done a lot of little things that made Mom feel better about the move (a special shout-out to Tony, whose helpfulness and patience are really appreciated). It was hard for her to leave where she'd lived for the last 40 years, but she agreed it was time, and the excellent food (not to mention not having to cook for herself) has been a real plus. Expensive, yes, but worth it. There is a wide variety of activities (including movies, discussion groups, exercise classes, performances, and games), and transportation to the nearby shopping center and to the local library seems efficient and well-run. It can be a bit chaotic and noisy at the moment, since they're engaged in a major remodeling and upgrade of the facility, but each completed project just adds to the appeal of the place. If there's one drawback, it's the paucity of visitor parking, but I've never had to park more than half a block away, and the proximity to John Muir Medical Center is a big plus. If you're looking for a place in the Walnut Creek area for yourself or a parent, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.

When I visited the Atria Copeland in Tyler, TX I was very impressed with this community. It was a lot better than any other place we have seen before. It would work beautifully for just one of us but is a bit small for us both. We need a garage (man-cave) for my husband. Overall, It was nice, and when it comes to the friendliness, they would get a 5+!

We looked here when we were searching for a place that might work. We thought this was a very nice community. The people were friendly and it was kept clean. I don't think we are going to end up moving anywhere right now, but this was a nice place.

We never actually moved my father I'm to marland place but it was the location we had selected.

We are very happy with the Atria. The food has been quite good. They make everything in house, really I think they do a pretty good job, for an institutional setting. We really have been pretty pleased with them.

An exceptional community. It would be our choice if it was just one of us but just a little small for the two of us. We are still pretty active.

The community is clean and well maintained. The people there are caring and loving and they treat my Mom like family. Mom is always doing activities when I visit and they seem to keep her busy. The food is better than average and they bring snacks at any time Mom wants something. Shopping transportation is available.

The staff are all equally professional, caring and attentive. Country club atmosphere. Their attention to detail is exceptional. The activities are varied to cover everybody's needs. A lady likes bridge and they are trying to set up a bridge club for her. My whole experience with A Place for Mom and this community has been exceptional.
