I have been at Atria for almost two years. While the Pandemic has caused program changes, thanks to our management team we have all stayed healthy and adjusted well to the changes. I wake up in the morning, get ready for the day, which always starts with exercise, Exercise is never boring. Each day we have a different instructor and a different routine. I particularly love the Balance Classes, bar exercises. These classes help me stay safe and avoid falls. After exercise, there are choices on the daily schedule. Do I want to go to an exciting lecture so I can better understand the world around me? I also want to go to a ceramics class and to the exciting movie offered twice a day. The afternoon usually offers a concert with singers playing all time favorites from Broadway.People are encouraged to sing along. You can’t do everything. There is always something you want to do. Most of all is the opportunity to make friends and to have companionship. When you go to the activities you enjoy, you will meet like minded people

While giving a “stunning” review, which this is, 7-months into a pandemic may feel strange, it’s a pleasure to do so. Introducing my dad as a new resident to Atria Darien in Jan ‘20 has been nothing but peace of mind for us - and him - as he’s been active, engaged, and cared for in ways that we, as a family, could never have had to anticipate doing. He works out 1-2 times per day - and takes walks around the building - getting exercise that he really enjoys. He attends sessions on news and current events that he cares about - the programming options are unbelievable - of course fewer now than in February, but the schedule is really robust. The care givers are also very responsive, respectful, and loving - they send us pictures of him reading the paper, lifting weights, planting flowers - it’s really touching, and with the ratio of residents to staff, it’s a deeply personal experience and connection for us. Covid has made them up their game in terms of following CDC guidance and doing even more to protect those who live there - and limit exposure - it’s been incredibly impressive to watch. We’re huge fans of Atria. It’s a community that really cares. And when you’re able to visit, you’ll be enchanted, too (and likely take home some homemade cheesecake pastry if you play your cards right!).

My mother spent three happy years at The Atria. She made wonderful friends and became attached to her devoted caregivers. Whenever I visited Mom, she was in the middle of an activity and had a big smile on her face. I felt assured that I placed her in a beautiful and safe environment. I never felt sad when our visits were over. I highly recommend The Atria!

Atria Cinco Ranch is one of the best Independent Living places not just in Katy, but in the Houston area. [name removed] and her staff have been very proactive in watching over our loved ones! We look forward to when they can get completely back to normal (pre-COVID) when they can all eat together along with all the activities & outings they enjoyed...that helped make it the Wonderful place it is.

My mother has lived in Life Guidance for almost two years. I would like to recognize the following staff members for the devotion and kindness they show my mother: [names removed]. They are excellent caregivers and truly treat the residents with dignity and respect. Even under the difficult circumstances that COVID 19 has imposed on the senior community, [name removed] has been very creative planning fun and uplifting activities to brighten the day! [names removed] always have a ready smile and a helpful attitude when interacting with my mother. I also must mention, [name removed] , the Director of Nursing, who has gone the extra mile to insure that my mother's medical needs are met. My mom is very happy here and that means the world to her family!

Atria Cinco Ranch is a wonderful community, the exercise classes, bridge groups hair salon/nail shop are just some of the things/activities I have heard about from my mom. The meals are enjoyable and are more than just eating, they are social times to visit with friends and family! The staff seams very friendly and helpful as well!

The Atria at Cinco Ranch is an amazing facility! The employees and staff are top-notch individuals and take pride in all that they do. I have been extremely impressed with their safety protocols over these last few months and so appreciate them keeping my parents safe! The Atria staff does a great job of trying to keep activities fun for the residents.

I have lived here for 6 and a half years. I am so thankful that I was persuaded to come to Texas from New Jersey. Atria has been an excellent place for me. It is my home. The staff here are doing their very best to keep us safe and content.

Never have I valued the Atria Team at Cinco Ranch as I have during this unforeseen COVID19 period. They have shown great leadership in staying the course with very strict quarantine measures which have kept my parents and all the residents safe and healthy. Now is not the time to compromise in this regard and the Atria team have remained disciplined in adhering to the necessary protocol to minimize exposure. To the entire Atria Team: You are some of the many unsung heroes out there - following careful protocol at work and home in order to stay healthy, enabling you to successfully care for a very fragile and precious group of citizens. I recently reached the situation where it was necessary for me to change my residence from owning my own home to Independent Senior Living. I have examined 11 suggested residences, in the Bedford/North Richland Hills area and found Atria to best reflect my life style. The accommodations are first rate, the facility was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly, there are many activities I find available to participate in, and I was able to obtain the apartment of my choice. There seems to be a conscientious effort to comply with the Covid health requirements, yet my freedoms are not so impaired that I feel like a prisoner. I am confident I will enjoy my residence here, and my children can freely visit me, now that I am closer to them.

We chose this facility because it just seemed like it would be a great fit for my friend based on the staff members and the value for your money. The room size he is in is very nice. The best part about the community so far would just be the potential that it has, but it is hard to say right now due to Covid. I would recommend Rancho Mirage Terrace.

Atria staff have been nothing short of wonderful...they are friendly, helpful, empathetic, professional...and in all these things they also go the extra mile! [name removed] was nothing short of miraculous...[name removed] at the front desk, [name removed] who often delivers my dads meals, [name removed] who is new at the desk but already exceptional..[name removed] who is always ready to help...the list goes on and on. My dad has only been a resident for 8 weeks, so my interactions have just begun. But I have no doubt that everyone I come in contact with will continue to be exceptional. Thank you ALL for making my dads experience there wonderful.

I visit the community often and honest to gosh, I have never seen a more effective and tenured management Team in such a gorgeous, modern community. They have so many amenities-- you'll have to see for yourself!

My parents have been members of the Atria Woodlands community for almost 3.5 years, and our family could not ask for better partners in navigating their care. Mom is in the Life Guidance or Memory Care unit. Dad is in the Independent Living Building but has private aides who assist him. My parents have been married for 68 years, and separating them was one of the hardest things our family had to do. The aides, staff and administrators helped us to handle this with great patience and compassion. They celebrated with us as our parents found their new norm and have gone out of their way to help our parents and our family maintain what has always been a close, loving connection. The coronavirus pandemic is enough to strike fear into the hearts of any family who has a loved one in a care facility. Again, the constant communication that the Atria Woodlands leadership team provides and the extra effort that staff makes to set up FaceTime calls and Zoom conferences has made a bad situation immeasurably easier to deal with. My family and I cannot day enough good things about the Atria Woodlands staff and leadership. They are the gold standard in terms of providing a safe, friendly, stimulating environment for their residents.

I just wanted to thank you and your great staff for all your efforts in keeping the residents and themselves safe! My family truly appreciates all your efforts. My mom, [name removed], had the best Mother’s Day possible in this “new, crazy world”. (I have to say though that she can’t wait for the beauty parlor to reopen!??) Such good news, thanks for the update! My mom returned to Atria yesterday to such a warm welcome from Joan and other staff, it really made her feel so good. We are confident that she is in very good hands there. thanks for your updates!

Sorry for the delay, just want to thank you and the Atria Staff, especially [name removed] and his kitchen crew, for their work to make this ‘odd’ Mothers Day So special. YOUR A.M.greeting of Proseco and chocolates to start our day. Then the delicious food so beautifully served, was gratefully enjoyed and appreciated.

My mother was in the first group that had dinner in the dining room last night. I wanted to let you know that she raves about it. She told me how the place was laid out and how challenging that must have been. And that the service was like the finest restaurants (and she would know). She was so impressed, thrilled and delighted. We’re grateful for everyone’s efforts to prepare this special dinner. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know these few months have been difficult for all of you. Despite the circumstances, we know that everyone at Atria has pulled together with great care, thoughtfulness and good humor. We really appreciate what you have accomplished to keep everyone safe and cared for. Our thanks to you and the staff.
