Dad and mom were married for almost 54 years and when Dad died suddenly in [date removed] my sister and I lived with mom for 3 months. We toured several assisted care communities and wanted only the best place for mom who had done so much for us. Atria on the Hudson was that place and we got that feeling from the very first visit. The community and grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and clean. Mom is living in the life guidance memory care community and the director and her team are so caring and loving towards mom. In a short time, the Atria staff really got to know mom—her interests, likes and dislikes, what she accomplished in her life, her family—and as her son, this is so reassuring that mom is in great care. Obviously, with any life changing experience, there is a period of adjustment and mom and mom is now thriving. Mom really says it best, “I love my room, the people here are so friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious, and my view is wonderful”.

My Dad moved into Atria San Juan. The past year he has declined dramatically. Basically not doing anything at home. We moved him into a Studio. His life is back. He is out everyday. Sitting outside watching the golfers next door. Always sitting with other residents. Eating good meals. He lives the staff and he is happy.

We chose the Memory Care at Atria San Juan for my Mother-in-Law. We toured 4 places focusing on South OC. We live in Dana Point and wanted to have her close by. We like the activities they have daily. Every time we visit we always see staff engaged with residents. When we pick her up she is always dressed nice. She is doing well. The biggest thing for us is that she is in a beautiful safe environment. We kept her home as much as we could. But the fear of her wondering off one day; we knew we had to do something.

We toured Atria Carrollton and we had a great tour experience and first impression. It was an overall fantastic facility. We chose another community because Atria's price point was too expensive for our budget.

It’s such a relief to have my parents all settled into their new home at Atria San Juan. Dad had a couple of falls and Mom could not help him up. Peace of mind knowing they have 24/7 Care Staff in case they need anything. Best part is that they enjoy going to a restaurant for all their meals. The past 2 years they have depended on take out. Since Mom could no longer cook. I have access to them anytime I want to and they can go out when they want. No longer cooking and cleaning for Mom. We are so happy for them.

We chose Atria Willow Park because of the friendliness of the staff members as well as the residents during our tour. The apartment sizes for my dad are great and just what he needs. Anytime he has had a problem they have been right there to help him. They already know our family by name and that is super nice. I would definitely recommend them and already have.

It is [date removed], my name is [name removed]. We have been residents of Atria Oakridge for over a year now and it did not start out as being a very good year. Issues including staffing, management, rate increase and some residents leaving was the norm, it was not a nice time. Though Happy Hours were fun and enjoyable, the residents were not happy. But that is ancient history. Corporate Atria must of saw and heard what was happing. They brought in a new Vice President who took charge. Mingled with the residents, took notes and made the decisions necessary to right the ship. Now we have staff and management that care how we feel and our wellbeing. A total change, with new residents coming in and to sum it up for the attitude here, well at the last Town Hall meeting the topic of spoons and dishes came up. The hurt feelings, not so great service and pessimism are gone. It has been replaced with the usual comments about the food and optimism prevails. It is easy to come and see for yourself.

I recently tour Atria Newport Plaza with my husband and was very impressed. The community looks very nice, everyone was smiling and happy and greeted us both very pleasantly.

My mother-in-law moved to the life-guidance part of Atria on Hudson in [date removed] and it's been a great experience in every way. The staff is beyond attentive, really caring treating her like family. She is rarely in her room because of the number of group activities keeping them busy and socially involved from breakfast past dinner. Her room is always impeccably clean. The help when she's had to see a doctor was just right. The grounds are beautiful and kept-up daily. She remarks often how beautiful the flowers are. We're so grateful to have this as a safe, caring home for our loved one!

We selected Atria San Juan Memory Care for my Aunt. It was a decision we took very seriously because we did not want to have to move her twice. We toured 5 Memory Care places in the South OC area. One being brand new state of the art. But what won us over was the caring staff at Atria. We visited three separate occasions at different times of the day. By far, I will tell anyone. If you need Memory Care for a loved one, this is it.

We toured quite a few places and even Board & Care places. Nothing had the feel of this community. Everyone was friendly and the staff looks happy. So we picked Atria San Juan for Dad. We got him a Studio apartment. Besides we didn’t want him in his room all day. He loves doing different things everyday. Especially the restaurant for his meals. Gets to eat with his friends everyday. For all the times he sat in his house alone to eat. Our only regret is not having insisted he make the move sooner!

We chose Atria Kinghaven because of the looks of the facility itself and the staff were wonderful during our tour. We walked in and it was so clean and everyone was super friendly to us. The lobby is beautiful and has a big nice fireplace, it feels very homey. The value for the money is excellent especially for what you get. The dining room looks like a restaurant as opposed to a cafeteria like some others we had seen. It is overall just a great facility and we are happy with our experience.

This was a good community. It was too expensive for us.

When we moved my mom into memory care we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly she acclimated. She has met new friends and even gained some needed weight. Their community is clean, and their staff care for for the residents. My mom and our family have finally found a balance and we couldn't be happier.

We had a really nice tour experience with Atria Draper Place. The facility is an old factory that has been beautifully redone. The ceilings are extremely high and gives it that high end fancy feel. We were looking for a place that had more of a home-like atmosphere.

In a matter of 2 weeks I managed to tour 6 locations. From Laguna Niguel to San Clemente. We live in San Clemente. We finally selected Atria San Juan. We are so happy and so is Mom. She has friends to do things with and enjoys the restaurant for her meals. They are also pet friendly. That was huge. Since Mom has a cat. Great location too. Literally 2 minutes off the Camino Capistrano exit.

I toured 7 different Assisted Living Communities. Every time I left a place my thoughts went back to Atria San Juan. There were residents all out and about. Staff and residents were friendly. Everyone was happy. That’s not what I encountered elsewhere. Dad has been living there for 2 months now and loves it.

We have had a wonderful experience!

Our loved one was there for respite care and we really liked how secured the community it, we did not have to worry about our loved one wandering off. Also they have a great setup when it comes to the security of the elevators -the residents are not able to use them without a staff member present
