Atria

There are so many great things about Atria Rocklin that it is hard to limit it to a short review! Before moving to Atria, my grandparents were living at home alone. My grandmother had a stroke 6 years ago that has really limited her ability to communicate and physically get around. My grandfather's health has not been as great recently either, and it was difficult for him to take care of himself, my grandmother, and their home. After touring Atria, my parents decided that this was a great place for them. The care is wonderful, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I'm so happy to see them doing so well since moving in. My grandmother went from having a hard time with word retrieval to enjoying talking with her tablemates at dinner. She is absolutely thriving! I'm happy to see that both of them are socializing with others, as they've spent the past 6 years only spending time with each other. We couldn't be happier with how they are doing now that they are in great hands!

My mom is picky to deal with, and there are a few small things that she'd likely wish to change, but she's happy and that's a good thing. The people at Atria are extremely friendly. When we were looking at the facility during the in-take process and establishing her as a resident; other residents came in, talked to her, and made her feel welcomed (as well as staff). Now that she's settled, my mom will speak to other residents who come in and assure them that they'll like it as well. She's been promoting Atria, as she likes what they stand for. I can't find any faults within the community. They have independent living, but you can add on different levels of care packages. You can also drop or modify them as needed, they are extremely open and flexible in that regard. My mom says the food and variety is good. A few nights a week they offer wine with their evening meal. They also have various things going on in the afternoon and evenings like outside musical guests and internal social groups. You may be paying more, but it comes with an upgraded quality of life, care, and support. Aesthetically the community is nice, my mom has a new view of localized trees from her unit and she's happy. She feels it to be a safe and secure environment. I would tell others - look and you'll be satisfied. You'll see the friendliness of the staff and the residents at Atria Grass Valley.

Visited a family member here this week and was very impressed with the staff and the facility. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My mom has been living in the memory care community for over a year and has received wonderful & compassionate care. All the staff, especially the director and activity director, are kind and knowledgeable and treat mom like family. The daily activities are engaging and I've seen first-hand residents enjoying & participating.

So far we love it, thanks. Just wish they could find more staff but they are trying! The people that are there are very caring and we love them! They are taking very good care of my Mother-in-Law. I don't have much to compare it to for value for the money. We are having to pay extra money for what's supposed to The extra care but I'm not sure they truly have the staff to provide it. I would say that's the only issue I have. I know staffing is a huge issue everywhere right now though.

We are very happy with the set up at Atria Carmichael, we really like how our loved one is able to have three meals a day. The staff are super friendly, they check on our loved one and our loved one is well taken care of. Our loved one has a nice room and based on our overall experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

I had such an amazing experience at Atria Stamford. From the moment I walked in, through my visit. The residents all were engaging and appeared very happy. Similar for the staff, as most seem to have been with the community for several years. I saw more staff and their badges say multiple years, unlike the other I visited. It felt natural here, other places it felt like the visit was staged. The place was active, the calendar I saw was unbelievable. I got a chance to taste the food, it was excellent. One place was very expensive and new, however hardly any staff or residents in the visit. Atria Stamford is extremely reasonable and the entire process was top notch. I highly recommend this Community, it is the place I chose.

Our family had a virtual tour with this community and from what we could remember it was a great experience. It was the first one we saw ad the person who gave us that virtual tour was very informative and helpful.

The community is very nice and our loved one is on a newer floor so her bedroom is super nice and so is the bathroom. The food so far has been delicious. When we come to visit our loved one is always clean, well dressed and laundry is always done. So far we have no complaints and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families.

Atria Lafayette Hill was great. You could tell the staff that we dealt with there truly cared about helping my parents find a living space that they would be comfortable with both financially and physically. For us it just came down the the location and we found a facility that had a lower 2nd person fee.

I visited for my Dad. I was so impressed from the beginning of the visit and through the process. Everyone was so pleasant, including the residents. I couldn't help but notice the tenure of the staff, other places I visited have none of that. It was the difference to me, knowing that my loved one would be cared and serviced by people who have been doing it in the same community, for so long. I was advised to view their Facebook and WOW!! They truly know how to engage their residents!!

My mom really likes it there and is settling in well. They have a really good activities department, and the food seems to be good quality. Her apartment is nice and a good size.

We moved our mother to Westchester from CT around four years ago so she could be closer to me and my sister. Atria on the Hudson is the third place we tried since her move. We were dissatisfied with the care she received at the two other places. We are thrilled with the experience she is having at Atria on the Hudson. The staff is exceptional - they are so kind, attentive, available and knowledgable. The community of residents is the perfect size, where my mom has a choice of people to relate to, but not overwhelmingly so. Also the outdoor garden is beautiful and my mom really notices and appreciates it. I have only good things to say about the staff, facility and overall experience.

The people that work here are wonderful! They go above and beyond for all of us! The residents have been welcoming and kind. I made great friends within my first day. Love the programs, especially the concerts and political debates.

I have been searching for an assisted living community for 3 weeks. I came upon Atria of Darien, among 7 other properties. When entering the building, I felt a sense of calmness and, more importantly for me, cleanliness. I was greeted by a staff that expressed genuine concern for my well being. During my tour of the apartments and property, each time we walked by a resident, I was introduced and welcomed. The one thing that caught my eye was the fact that every single resident I encountered was extremely happy to be living there. Every apartment I was shown was immaculate and well lit. The entire property, from the library to the dining room to the gardens, was stunning and quite welcoming. If you are looking for a senior living residence, I urge you to, at the very least, schedule a tour at Atria of Darien. You will not be disappointed.

I am thankful for the almost 4 years that my mom lived at Atria Newport Plaza. The staff was always wonderful to her-from housekeeping to dining, to activities, to wellness. We always knew she was always well cared for and staff was ALWAYS so helpful.

After refusing to leave her home, we finally convinced her to move to Assisted Living! Grandma loves her apartment. She is always early to the dining room. Excited to sit with her new friends to eat. To think of how much she fought us on this! She has a purpose again. We are so excited for her. I would definitely recommend this place for your loved one.
