We looked at this community along with several others in the area. All the communities were good. We were between this community and another. We ended up allowing our loved one make the choice, and they chose the other community due to location to family.

It’s been great, oakview has been a good place for dad with his dementia, he has received the extra help that he needs, the staff has been very helpful and pleasant , and I have received plenty of help also

We toured Fairview Park during our search for Assisted Living for our loved one. This facility is a very nice facility. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The atmosphere, staff, and tour guide were great also!

Oakview Park is more than an assisted living facility that my brother is a resident of. It’s a home with extremely loving and caring people. My brother and I consider many of the staff as family. My brother has special needs and the home always sees that they are met. The medical staff cares so much about him and everyone who is a resident. There are so many activities that everyone of every age can participate in. If it’s going out to eat or arts and crafts there are activities for everyone. The musicians that play and sing for the residents are extra special and some of the most talented musicians in the area. The lady that greats you at the front desk is the sweetest most caring person I’ve ever met. She truly is a blessing and the heart of the home. The administration is spectacular and show real leadership in running the home. They truly care and love each and every resident. If your looking for a place for your loved one to live Oakview Park is the place you want.

I would definitely recommend the facility. Everyone has been so helpful as my mom is working through her adjustment to her new home. It's so bright and cheerful throughout and that is reflected in all who work there. We had a unique experience in that my mom was originally in assisted living for a week before having to be hospitalized and then rehab for a month then into Memory Care. It's been a better transition to Memory Care because of all the great help and support provided which we now realize was needed. I would add there needs to be more communication when first moving in. We were not aware of some of the expectations - nothing extreme but would have be good to know (example need to provide toilet paper, learning who to call for what information, her weekly schedule for laundry). Being in Memory Care it's a challenge to get details from Mom and having some of this information would help us help the staff. My mom has had a difficult time adjusting and the patience the staff has shown is so reassuring. We appreciate all they do for our mom and the others every day.

The cleanliness of the facility and the value for the money compared to other places we looked at both get 5 plus stars. We mainly chose Legacy Ridge at Buckhead initially just due to the location, but the staff have been what has really stuck out to us during our experience here. They are always so responsive and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Legacy Ridge at Buckhead to other families who are looking.

Community is well maintained, staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We picked this community, because of the location, value and availability. I would recommend to other families.

I live here and what I like most is the location, the privacy and my apartment design. It has high ceilings, good lighting and good security. I just finished 35 rounds of radiation and rounds of chemo therapy for throat cancer and the kitchen staff makes me 4 egg cheese omelets. That is about all I can eat right now along with ice cream. I have stayed in four communities and Heartis Suwanee is a step above all the rest.

Honestly, I would rate all categories at a 5 and the food at a 6. We've had the food at [community name removed] and [community name removed] and Thrive's food is top notch! When it comes to the activities they have different things like sing-a-longs, manicure days, Bible study, arts and crafts, all the usual. And a miniature horse that comes inside the building once per month to be petted and brushed by the residents.

My stepfather was at Arbor Terrace for the initial 2 months and then moved to Heartis for last 6 months. He moved to Georgia from Maryland because cost of assisted living was less expensive in Georgia. Heartis is a beautiful newer facility. Very clean and staff are very friendly and caring. I loved the place. Food was very good too. Overall a very good feeling place! Arbor Terrace was also very nice but due to distance for family to travel to visit him- we decided to move him to Suwanee. My stepfather's health deteriorated quickly and was unable to get along on his own and ended up in the hospital and rehab for long periods. He never really had the opportunity to get out of his room at Heartis and enjoy people and activities. If he was at Heartis longer as a normal assisted living resident- we could evaluate better. It is a great place if you are able to care for yourself more. His level care increased quickly and the staff tried very hard to meet his needs. My major observation about all assisted living places is that as the level of care increases and resident becomes incapacitated - assisted living staff are stretched too thin to provide highest level of care. Also the design of most assisted living places is not conducive to elderly people. Long corridors - big hikes to the restaurant. Also rooms should never have carpet- difficult for wheelchairs. I would highly recommend Heartis but family must be prepared to help and supplement care as loved one demands more care.

We loved everyone at Oakview Park. My uncle unfortunately was only there a little over a month, but within that short time frame, everyone there became a part of our family. The attention to detail that Oakview Park has for its residents is above and beyond. The smallest detail, like how much sound the wheels on the trash cans make when rolling through the dining area... they switched out traditional wheels for super quiet Rollerblade wheels. They are always looking for ways to make all the residents comfortable and at home. I couldn't ask for a better team to help us transition from living at home to living in a new home away from home. So grateful to have this entire "family " in our lives.

I would tell others looking into Tribute at The Glen that the staff are very transparent and helpful. It is a lovely facility and not over priced. My loved one is on the memory care side and she has a private room, I believe they are all private rooms. I would recommend Tribute at The Glen, the director is very involved with everything and will do whatever is needed to make things right.

Tribute at Black Hill was great. What we liked most was how great the management was, they were always very accommodating. Based on the experience we had with the Tribute community, we would absolutely recommend them to other families.

I would recommend the community as a good alternative for a loved one. My parents are both there and they are doing well with their level of care. They have outdoor areas that are appropriate for memory care and for assisted living. They offer activites such as; Music, exercise classes, other social interaction activities.

I toured Lake Howard Heights and it was great! This facility was our first choice. It's a very nice place, much nicer than the other facility in the area that we toured. The facility was very clean and the friendliness was pretty good. It's also more affordable than most.

I can’t say enough glowing things about Tribute. My dad moved here in [date removed] and they have taken such good care of him. His experience in the memory care unit at Tribute over the last two months was just phenomenal. He received top-notch, loving care from every person there. My mom did too. She came to see him as much as she could and the staff and admins not only knew her, they went out of their way to make sure she was happy with the care my father was receiving and they provided a compassionate listening ear whenever she needed to process her feelings. My dad died on Tuesday and I can’t think of a more loving environment for him to have died in. Less than 12 hours after he died, a big bouquet of flowers from Tribute were delivered to my mom’s house. If you can’t keep your loved one at home, you really can’t ask for a better place to have them spend their remaining time. The elderly are treated with dignity and respect here. They are well loved and taken care of.

They were awesome! We loved the facility and the staff. We ended up moving my mom there and we're really happy! Communication is excellent. They work really hard to make the residents happy with food. My mom LOVES soda and they don't typically serve soda but they give her a small soda every day. And she loves ice cream so they give her a little cup of ice cream. She didn't like the dinner they offered the other day and the chef made her a salad which she loves.

The Claiborne have been wonderful!!!! I just wish I had moved her here sooner! What we really like about this community are the activities, the facility as a whole and the person who oversees the facility. Based on our experience so far with this community, we would definitely recommend them to other families.

This facility was all inclusive compared to others. No additional cost for level of care. As far as improvement(s), suggest updated appliances (refrigerator/freezer) in kitchen, new dining furniture, and new flooring in building where my loved one resides. The permanent day staff and early evening staff are wonderful! I appreciate the staff keeping me informed. They do provide activities, monthly newsletter with pics & updated events, housekeeping, and they decorate the facility per holidays. Overall, it's a wonderful place. My loved one is very happy and comfortable at Madison Heights.

I toured Madison at Clermont and it had a homey environment. The tour person was amazing and helpful in answering my questions, also recommended the Ocoee branch.
