Artis Senior Living

My grandmother is always clean, but does sometimes have other's clothes on when we visit or when we pick her up. I know name labels wash off and she often hides clothes from staff, but still we want to be sure she has the clothes we've given her. Staff are always friendly and listen when we have a question or concern, and they call me when they have a concern, so I'm confident that she is being taken care of when I'm not there. I very rarely detect any odor. There are a nice variety of activities planned , and they encourage my grandmother to participate even when she doesn't understand. As for value for cost we are able to afford it so far with careful planning and the peace of mind has been a great relief, but the cost may be prohibitive for other families.

The caregivers are on the front line and I don't want anyone to get anyone mad at me! Professional staff are absolutely wonderful! Always there to assist with any issues that arise. My Aunt loves to walk around the grounds which was a large part as to why we choose that facility because she has the ability to go outside and wander on the grounds. The facility has a wonderful activity coordinator who keeps the residents engaged. She is very happy living here.

Overall it's been a very good experience and my mom is very happy/content there and she stays busy. She takes advantage of all the activities but I know there are others that don't it are not able to - but for us, it's been great.

I would say our overall experience has been wonderful. It is challenging to navigate, but Artis has been partnered with us along the way and that is so meaningful. Especially since everyone's journey through dementia is different. Also, A Place for Mom is just as amazing. It was such a crazy time trying to figure out what my Dad needed and you all made it as easy as possible. We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you!!

My dad has been doing extremely well and is happy; he smiles like I haven't seen for years; he is cared for by staff like family; when we make suggestions the staff has always been responsive. Artis is his home.

The main reason we chose Artis Senior Living of Evesham was the outdoor area! The staff have also been very good to work with. It is expensive. I do feel like Memory Care costs are high in general in New Jersey.

When it comes to the care services my only issue is that my father is not being shaved every day. For the meals my dad is very picky but they are always willing to make him a grilled cheese. Based on the experience we have had, we would absolutely recommend this community to others

No matter how wonderful the staff and amenities are, it's just a very expensive cost on the family both financially and emotionally.

I recommend highly and without any reservations. The staff and care partners are kind and caring, the activities are well planned, varied and engaging and the private and public spaces are all clean and bright. The Artis team all get to know their residents and understand who they are as people, and that makes a tremendous difference in the quality of care.

During my first tour I was so amazed at how friendly all the employees were, I actually suspected they had been coached to act friendly when they saw someone on tour. My suspicion was totally unfounded! The staff, from Director to the maintenance personnel, always greet visitors and residents (“neighbors” at Artis) with a smile and a hello. It isn’t long before they all know visitor’s names and who they’re associated with. Beyond friendliness, the staff is very professional. The neighbor’s family is kept aware of issues and reasons to be joyful. Neighbors are actively encouraged to participate in community activities. It isn’t long before they know their favorite and are fully engaged. A particular positive physical feature of Artis is the large outdoor patio that is enjoyed by many of the neighbors and visitors.

My father stayed at Artis Senior Living for one month in their Memory Care Facility while my mother (his primary caregiver) was having a major medical procedure. I cannot say enough good things about the facility and the staff! They went above and beyond to make him feel welcomed, cared for, and included in daily activities. If Dad got upset or felt lonely, they worked with him to help him express his emotions and were in touch quite frequently with my sister and I with text updates, videos and photos of his daily progress. It was a huge relief to see him smiling and even participating in activities. The level of care at Artis is phenomenal. They really care about their residents and their needs. It was overall a great experience and we know that should we need further long-term care, Artis is there for us and our family. Note: I only gave 4 stars for the food because Dad complained about it, but the staff did try hard to accommodate his demands and satisfy his taste buds.

The staff is very friendly. It seems like they know all 60+ of the residents by name. They call me anytime my father wants to talk to me or his having an off day. They're very attentive and caring. Great communication. They call with any concern and update me after he sees the doctor. He was agitated and had a hard time adjusting after moving in. They adjusted their care to give him more space and not stress him. it always seems like they are doing some activity. Even on the weekend the community room is open and they do something small like trivia, music, singing, etc. They periodically take day trips places. The residents get to go outside any time they want. They aren't locked in all the time. More activities and freedom than other facilities but not the lowest cost. Artis, though, is strictly memory care and designed for dementia/Alzheimer's residents. Other facilities may cost less but have them section off in a wing of the building like it was a second thought.

What our family likes the most about Artis Senior Living is the value for cost. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far

The staff here, from management on down, really takes the time to get to know the residents . It is gratifying when people throughout the facility call my family member by name. The residents are always clean and properly dressed; it is clear the staff cares about each person. Activities go on throughout the day so residents are rarely just sitting around doing nothing. Some things could be improved upon, such as communication with families, but as these places go, this is definitely one of the better ones. It's expensive but worth it if your person is still able to engage with others.

Kind team, consistent service Room sizes are tiny

Wonderful facility for my mom! Beautifully decorated inside and out! The grounds are beautifully manicured with lots of flowers and trees with a lovely patio where residents can enjoy being outside and they barbecue and the patients eat outside from time to time ! The staff is awesome and are attentive to all the residents, very caring and compassionate! It was my mothers birthday recently and Artis baked her a huge cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday and then after dinner one of the care workers bought cupcakes and again they sang Happy Birthday There are always activities to keep the residents entertained and they even have live music about once a week! Artis is beautifully decorated with artwork and photos! Very homey feel at Artis and they even have a beauty salon to get your hair and nails done every Tuesday! The bedrooms are a perfect size and eat resident has their own room! I feel so good knowing my mother is in such a wonderful place

The facility is well keep and the people are all very pleasant and helpful regardless of their position whether they are care partners, maintenance, kitchen staff or management.

As someone who has entrusted my mother's care to Artis Memory Care Facility, I can confidently say it's been a life-changing decision. Transitioning her to a memory care wasn't easy for our family. However, from the moment we arrived, the staff embraced my mom and I with warmth and compassion. Their personalized approach, tailored programs, and beautiful courtyard have truly enhanced her experience. One of my favorite things about my mom is her laugh. I joined her in a couple of the activities and they tend to always have laughter regardless of the activity. It is very welcoming. I've witnessed firsthand the genuine connections she formed between staff and residents. Staff are great and very responsive. I couldn't be more grateful for Artis.

Artis offers professional nursing and respite for clients who require memory care. The grounds are immaculate and the buildings are clean and up to date. The activities director, chef, and personal care assistants go the extra mile to make a positive impact. We all enjoyed the Mother’s Day Tea. No cures are offered here, or anywhere for that matter, but residents are safe and comfortable at Artis.
