Artis Senior Living

My loved one is currently a resident at Artis Senior Living of Briarcliff Manor and most everything has been great for her so far. My loved one is so well cared for- the staff is wonderful and the activities are so engaging and perfect for the residents. I would recommend Artis Senior Living of Briarcliff Manor to others.

Beautiful and up-to-date building; respectful and kind staff; many choices socially; parking; and visitors encouraged.

I lost my wife after 39 wonderful years. Her last 14 months were confined to a wheel chair. The love and support 24 hours a day were relentless. The staff were always interacting with Francoise and brought others together creating a happy and calm envirment. There was always an activity that worked in such a way all the residents could react. A huge thank you to the staff and management for always providing a loving environment and the 100 percent support.

Highly recommend that all consider Altis in their quest to help their loved ones with assisted living needs. Facility is very clean, and staff very friendly. Ample time was provided for the tour and associated questions.

Everyone working there was so friendly and supportive. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job and if there was a problem in my husband's room, they took care of it. They all made my husband, me, & my family feel like family. I was amazed how the staff would recognize us & know our names. I couldn't have asked for more caring people. If an incident occurred, they would call & inform me. The meals always looked delicious and there were always food choices. They had a nice variety of activities to get the residents involved. This was cheaper than having my husband in a nursing home facility. My husband was at Artis from [date removed]- [date removed] when he passed away from FTD.

I "shopped" around a bit and we are fortunate to have Artis as our care provider. Appreciate the availability of walking space outdoors. Artis does a very job of selecting and training their staff. My sense is there a genuine desire to care for the residents and family members. They are busy in their duties while ready to engage in responding to a simple greeting or assistance they observe is needed or requested. The positive professionalism begins with the receptions and last through signing out.

The care and empathy for the residents with dementia and other memory issues was amazing ... so patient and really hands on care ... activities were great and exercise class were a lot of fun ... the building is new and all on one floor so very easy for residents to get around ... good communication between staff is good

We find Artis a good experience for dad. Not too crowded, residents are all levels of functioning. Good companionship. It is clean. Recreation is a plus. Common areas are nice.

Very help staff right from the start. Clean, 1-level facility with memory care as the focus. All the staff are well trained in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Rooms are single occupancy with a half bath, closet and lots of space. Very affordable compared to all other options in Montgomery County. They have a newsletter and keep us well informed of changes or issues with my father. He is very content living there. They also work well with Hospice to make sure he is comfortable. Overall, it’s a nice, calm, and quiet place.

We could not be happier, 5 plus stars for each category! The warm bright feeling when you walk in is what really drew us here. Love the color coordination in the separate hallways- helps the residents to find there room easier. You provided furniture in the rooms, you let pets in- we try to bring our dog every week- [name removed] lights up when he sees her. Staff is extremely friendly and seen. You don't have to look far to find a staff member My uncle had a stroke alert and few weeks ago and due to the staffs quick actions they had him at the hospital right before he had a seizure.

Making a quick change in Assisted Living for a 95 year old isn't easy. When we found Artis Senior Living we were so impressed with the new and super clean building, the extremely competent facility director and sales person and the smaller setting environment. We had never heard of "Enhanced" Care Services which is exactly what we needed. The staff is so kind and all are trained to aid memory care and dementia residents. Happily, Artis is following through on all that was promised. My mother is very happy at Artis and I honestly didn't think she would ever be happy again. She feels safe, cared for and listened to. She joins some activities and loves the food which is a miracle in itself. I also feel confident that she is well cared for and safe, so I can go about my life without worrying all of the time. All in all, we are thrilled with the relationship that we have with Artis and with the Artis staff. It is a wonderful place for my mother.

The facility is user friendly to those w/ Alzheimer's : 1 floor ,4 neighborhoods , free range of a beautiful outside area and inside a gathering center and play area . The staff is giving , knowledgeable , and problem solving .

Recommend 100 percent it's wonderful. Very happy, and they are wonderful staff. It is great and very accomadating.

Very attentive to the needs of my wife, helping to feed her and change her. Everyone there ,no matter what their position , helps my wife. Support meetings are fantastic. At this point in time, there is nothing detrimental to say.

Love the neighborhood style of the facility. Love that residents can move around the entire faculty-including large outside area. This is nice because most places have a small locked area for memory care. Each neighborhood has own dining room where residents eat family style. Very clean

I toured Artis Senior Living of Potomac when looking to move my wife's grandmother from Philadelphia to Maryland. We've done respite before, so I know my way around these communities. At Artis, they were a class act. Professional, attentive and really cared about my wife's emotions through the process of placing her grandmother. No other places asked that! "How are you feeling about this transition?" Thought that was pretty cool. It was nice to see my wife smile again. This is the place.

I would definitely recommend Artis in Somers to anyone looking for a great memory care residence. Places like this always have challenges but they always seem to keep top of game.I could not be happier or more relieved to have my mom so well cared for by the team at Artis Senior living in Somers. Their facility, activities and approach are just what the doctor ordered for my mom and our family. Thank you to the entire team!

Artis of Potomac is the hidden gem of the Potomac area. Situated upon a idyllic hill, pulling into the community feels like finding a hidden oasis. Surrounded by nature and trails, this community brings a sense of calm, that is much needed for a memory care resident. Finding local residents exercising on the hill, to the community's residents taking nature walks, it's a place full of life. The beauty isn't just on the outside, all of the associates, including their concierge, [name removed] welcomes you with a smile and pure interest, that exudes compassion.

I think the facility is full. Any vacant rooms are filled in a couple days. There may be a waiting list now. The staff is kind and helpful , they make all residents feel welcome, and usually very upbeat with the resident and responsible person. Special occasion snacks and hors_d'oeuvres are very good!
