What we like the most about Artis Senior Living is the overall friendliness of the staff. We would recommend them to others, but they were a bit pricey so they wouldn't be my first choice because of the cost

Excellent nursing staff. [name removed] is amazing and we have already recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones. The biggest thing for me is I feel that my mother is safe. The nursing staff keeps me updated and I can reach out whenever needed.

Moved our Mom into Artis after years of "putting up with" and "dealing with" the incredible 360-degree flaws and lax treatment she received at another high end expensive Memory facility. We had no idea a Memory Care institution of this caliber of care even existed, until we happened on them - through a recommendation - and moved her in. Top faculty, they work to make this a meaningful experience for the residents, and for themselves. And we have now been able to move on with out lives and not aggravate or worry on any level. Woohoo!

My mother in law was a patient at this facility for one month, before her passing. She was very well taken care. Her medication was closely monitored, all her hygiene needs were met, and her care takers were very attentive. The food was also very well prepared. Unfortunately the stage of my mother in law’s dementia and a fall led to her passing after hospitalization and hospice stay.

This is a very special place. My mother is well cared for. The team care partners thru management are very responsive to any issues or concerns that arise and are rectified immediately. For any family having to make a difficult choice of putting their loved one in an assisted living facility because of Dementia or Alzheimers it is worth looking into.

I think Artis is a great place for my mother-in-law. I've had other experiences with my own parents at a different facility and Artis is really a wonderful place. I really have no criticisms of Artis, so on 1-7, I would probably give them a 5.

The staff is capable, kind and caring. There are many activities available all designed to keep residents active, safe, and healthy. My mom loves the caregivers - and the food! And the medical department does a great job of keeping family apprised of any issues that arise.

Expert leadership team, deeply committed, and caring staff. Residents are always met where they are with kindness, imagination, and tender care. Not only is the facility well-maintained as you would expect it is also very beautiful with attention to detail, including a lovely garden. Our mother, a world traveler, was always very happy with "the hotel" where she lived.

The staff were helpful and I think it is beautiful place....also the support group was helpful to my sister and me. Very professional and compassionate care.

What we like the most about Artis Senior Living is is the staff team who works there and the facility itself. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I'm very pleased with this community for one main reason, excellent communication! They reach out to me regularly via text, email or phone about my mother. They send me pictures of her at activities, they text me to let me know if there's a health issue. If I call, I'm able to speak with someone right away. And they listen to me & take my concerns seriously.

It is AWESOME!! Staff is AMAZING and my aunt is so happy there!! The staff go above and beyond to make residents and guests feel comfortable and welcome!

We picked this community because, of the proximity to my sister, which is 6 minutes mainly. Also it is very new and feels like a hotel. Staff is great.

Clean and welcoming environment, well maintained. Staff are excellent, well trained and totally resident-focussed. They seem to like their work and know their residents' likes, dislikes, and details. A very good place in a pleasant accessible neighborhood. I'd like to live here myself.

Our advisor recommended a memory care place right in my town that I hadn’t known about. It has been an excellent choice for my 92 year old father. We’re very pleased with his care and I wouldn’t have known about it without your assistance. I’m very grateful.

All the people at Artis were kind and respectful of my dad. They have fun activities for the residents and try to find something for everyone. I was also impressed with the communication with the families. I highly recommend Artis for your loved one.

I didn't choose a 5 for cleanliness just because I often see a full trash container in my fathers' room. And some of the CNA's aren't the most pleasant. Overall though, from the concierge at the front desk to the nurses and activities staff, they are friendly and helpful. My mother is usually attending one activity or another, whether it's an outing to see a local ballet performance, or to do a craft downstairs, or watch a live performer. The residents have access to two floors as well as the patio out back along with the well-groomed grounds. This seems to fall outside what one would typically see at a memory care facility. My father usually stays in his room between meals. We had hoped that my parents could have their rooms combined instead of having two separate rooms. The keys are universal, so normally my father would be able to open my mother's door (she was always losing hers). But I heard that the previous residents family had a different lock placed. So we need to ask staff to open her door. My sister-in-law asked staff to encourage my mother to sleep in her room since she is most likely sleeping much less than my father(he has not been diagnosed with dementia). My parents have had some issues with other residents. Quite a while ago, one of the men was confused and got into my fathers bed at night while my father was sleeping. That didn't go over well with my father. And they have had some things taken from their room by other residents. These issues are common with this population. My mother's wandering had become a big safety issue and now we don't need to worry about that. Both parents have all their needs taken care of and I would highly recommend Artis. It is a safe haven for your loved one whose life will be enriched with engaging activities while ensuring that basic needs/health concerns are ensured.

My poppy has been at artis due to Lewy body dementia. He is in hospice and mostly hard to communicate with. [name removed] has been the only aid able to get him to eat full meals. [name removed] vhas the patience of a saint and a gigantic heart. She will stay in the room with my poppy for an hour if needed to make sure he eats. She listens to make sure he swallows before giving him more food. She changes his position lifting him to make sure he is in a viable position to eat. She lovingly jokes around with him even. She always has a smile on her face.

The facility is pretty and the activities are EXCELLENT. As with any facility there are 2 things to remember 1) The facility is only as good as its staff- which unfortunately can change. Not all staff perform the same. 2) even with the best facilities- it is important to advocate for your loved one. Make sure they are being care of properly - visit at different hours on different days to get a feel for different staff members - ask for what you want (nicely of course). The facility will want to make you and your loved one happy. Live music activities were held often Chef was excellent with coordinating menu and themed events. Salon on premises which always did a nice job with moms hair. Open visiting hours were helpful and you could even schedule private small dinners.
