Family-oriented place. Great outdoor area. Friendly and helpful staff. We like it so far.

The facility is always clean and well maintained. They have thoughtful, engaging activities with a great activity director. The health center team is caring and involved. Residents are treated with respect and dignity. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

Staff is wonderful, very friendly, smiling and very helpful. They have activities all day except meal times. Room is small but kept clean. Food is good mom has no complaints about food. Mom has been there since June. We visited 4 or 5 homes. We are very glad we picked Artis.

Overall it's a good place with good people working there. The activities director did a great job of getting residents involved in activities and the grounds are really nice. The place has a more homey feel to it than other memory care places in the area. It's a good facility for people that need memory care. My concerns with them was not recognizing that my stepdad didn't need their highest level of memory care or memory care at all. Instead they insisted he belonged in memory care when 3 other facilities disagreed. It seemed like the director was more interested in collecting our fee instead of accurately assessing him. I did not have confidence that if I addressed any concerns about staff or other residents that any action was taken from my feedback. I got the impression, right or wrong, that that they just gave me lip service.

Everything was good. Mom had 3 falls there so she's going to skilled nursing.

The facility is very experienced. They were listed as one of the top 25 memory care facilities in the country for 2025. My biggest problem is that they do not (they say that they cannot) help the residents with their hygiene. For example, the residents use a community shower room. Their are no bathrooms in the individual living spaces. Well, my wife is refusing to shower in a community bathroom and, as such, she literally has not showered in the four months that she has been there. The staff tells me that they cannot force the residents to take a shower. While I understand their position, it seems to me that they would rather ignore the problem rather than work with me and my wife (the resident) to find a solution. The rooms are very clean but only the size of a small bedroom. As I have already pointed out, they do have a sink and toilet but no shower. The food is bland and has that distinctly institutional flavorless taste. They don't make snacks or refreshments, not even coffee, readily available to residents in between the set mealtimes.

Artis was a very nice, clean facility. The staff was very welcoming and attentive to the residents. The rooms were clean but small, and the bathroom area could use some updating. My father's biggest hesitation was that the showering is done in a community shower in the hallway. Even with the drawback of the showers, Artis was very high on our list for placement.

It seems like they really understand memory care. Everyone I've come in contact with has been kind and caring. They do engaging activities every day, however they also understand when patients just need time alone.

My husband and I visited Artis to inquire about their respite care option. I will need surgery in the next few months. As my husband is in a wheelchair and requires mostly 24/7 care we were looking for options outside the home, like respite care. We both enjoyed our visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable about patients care and need and the facilities. The building was surrounded by trees and gave a feel of tranquility. We also liked the daily programs available at Artis. In all, a very nice visit!

I would say to seriously consider it. Most likely would recommend. There have been some issues but they I am generally content

Staff is great. My biggest complaint would be that things go missing. Management acknowledges this, but don't seem to find it concerning.

So very good care of my husband. his caregivers were thoughtful, kind and involved. the facility was basically well maintained. the day programming was excellent! My main reservation was the poor communication with me.

Some administrative headaches but mostly positive. I would recommend Olney memory care to others

It is beneficial for someone who needs memory care to be placed in a facility that is all memory care rather than going to an assisted living facility with a small unit of memory care (which almost seems like an afterthought). At least in my opinion Artis is able to meet more of my father's needs. It is much easier to interact with the medical group. They work with and provide the documentation and bloodwork needs to help support my father's outside oncologist, surgeon and VA doctor.

We loved how the community was set up into "neighborhoods" lending itself to a very intimate living environment. We loved the outdoor space with each neighborhood having its own patio and also the main patio where residents could gather with visiting family and where the admin held outdoor cookouts and live music entertainment. We also loved the scheduling of morning, afternoon and evening activities for the residents.

The staff was very friendly and genuinely cared about my father. They ensured he was healthy, happy, and enjoyed the daily activities.

The staff and food are good. Room is small but kept very clean. I would recommend them to others.

I chose Artis senior living for a number of reasons ands benefits. The location was close and convenient and the facility specialized in memory care. The staff is both attentive and friendly and there are numerous activities and monthly entertainment to keep residents occupied and happy. There is also a very good nursing staff For each small community of residents. I like the fact that they keep me informed on my husbands progress and condition when necessary. It gives me peace and confidence that my husband is in such good care.
