The staff members and their care services are outstanding, and there are a lot of activities for the residents to participate in. The value for cost is also excellent.

This community just did not give off the same vibe. It was beautiful and brand new it just was not that stomach feeling I was looking for, nothing wrong with the community just not the right place for my loved one.

It is expensive but the care is completely worth it. Our loved one is safe, secured and well looked after, we have been very impressed with everything since the day we stepped foot into Artis. On the tour right away the person who works at the front greeting everyone is so charming, on the tour the answered all of our questions. Being in medical sales they have it all down as far as the sales and marketing team. Not only are they wonderful but also very kind which is huge. Anytime we have questions we get a response and if no one is there to pick up our calls we always get a response in a timely manner. Our loved one being on the memory care side can still walk outside and enjoy the gardens, he does not feel locked up. We would not want it any other way, they have just been so accommodating with literally everything, they are phenomenal. The art teacher especially has gone above and beyond to make sure the stay completely enjoyed and interactive with one another, she truly is a blessing.

I would highly recommend Artis to others for their loved ones. Their communication could be improved upon. It would be nice to have a system or portal to see what your loved one has done throughout and the status day. There could have been more communication during the first month of transition into the community to the family.

We have been very happy with the care services at Artis Senior Living so far, and from our understanding our loved one is really enjoying the meals and dining service. They aren't taking the residents out and about yet, but they have activities going on all day long. Sometimes she does say she wants to come home, but then again she will turn around she wants to stay and is really enjoying it. Most of the residents are women so it was easy for our loved one to make new friends. This community is just very warm and inviting.

This is only for residents with dementia and Alzheimer. They deal with the residents on levels that they understand. It comes at a price but it is very nice and beautiful and worth it. Every time I go my mother is dressed and in an activity of some sort. They have a paint and sip with fake wine and poker with fake beer. They even let her bake and help in the kitchen from time to time. My loved one loves it here.

The entire staff at Artis have been wonderful to work with. They have been so attentive to my mom’s individualized needs as well as our many inquiries & requests as we all navigate the care for my mom. We learn from them as we note how they skillfully interact with the roller coaster ride of declining cognitive disease and are so appreciative of their patience in doing so. The residence is beautifully laid out with plenty of space for my mom to walk and wander around. It doesn’t feel institutional at all - - the space planning is set up to feel like a home with living rooms, dining spaces within a kitchen environment, backyard patios, etc. And the decor is soothing and tastefully well done. There’s continuous activities throughout the day. And if your loved one doesn’t feel like participating, they can relax in their own private room, a patio or one of the living rooms. I highly recommend Artis of Yardley!

Great Falls is a great place to be. The atmosphere and the staff make it a great place. The communication with the staff is very, very good. Some of the activities available include arts and crafts, games, and more for the residents to choose from.

Artis Senior Living is a beautiful community in a beautiful town. The staff is so kind and compassionate and they go above and beyond to make everyone feel like family. They all work together to make sure the residents and their needs come first. This is truly a special place!

As a person who works in the home care industry, I have been afforded the opportunity to tour many assisted living facilities across Long Island. Artis Senior Living of Commack stands out to me as not only a beautiful place for our loved ones to call home, but a place where the staff really cares about its residents, and ensures their comfort as well as their safety. I would recommend Artis to any family and friends looking for the assisted living experience as I know it will be a positive and pleasant one!

Staff is wonderful with the residents and the facility makes you feel at home. Every time I Am there to visit there is always fun activities going on… this is not your average assisted living!

Artis Senior Living is a newer community, so it is very nice and the cleanliness of community is excellent. We watch the staff members interact with the residents and our loved one and they do a great job. The meals are great, they bake cookies, they have cook outs, so the meals and dining service is great. The activities are really nice and have a lot of opportunities to participate in. The value for cost is really good for our family, and it has worked out great. It is all one pricing, not dealing with different variable where your confused on one where the price came from.

It is lovely and brand new, but it didn't fit our needs. They wouldn't guarantee a spot if we had paid for a specific amount of time and then switch to Medicaid.

this is a good community. Communication is good between the staff and our family and they keep us well informed and up to date. The community is neat and clean and they have lots of activities for the residence. I would recommend this community to others.

I would tell others looking that their communication was very good, especially during the covid times when we were unable to visit. They were always quick to call with any questions or concerns that needed to be addressed as well. They really took a genuine interest in the individual. I would absolutely recommend to others.

What a caring, dedicated group of professionals. They made my mom's transition to their community seamless. They treat my mom with such dignity. I haven't seen my mom this happy in so long. Thank you to the entire group at Artis.

My Sister and I were searching for the right facility for my dad and Artis was by far the best. Our dad passed prior to getting to the facility, but the attention, caring and knowledge of [names removed] was incredible. If your parent suffers from dementia this is the place to go.

I'm so very happy with the care that my aunt receives there & she loves it.
