Artis Senior Living

I would strongly recommend Artis Senior Living of Lexington. My dad spent two weeks there and was safe. I was able to pick him up in the same condition as I dropped off him in. It was a great way to have a break for two weeks.

We are very impressed with the community and the care. We can't say enough good things. The community is always very clean. We are impressed with how the maintenance staff takes care of the community. Other than that, there have been several other staff like the activities director who go above and beyond. I have never seen any staff act disrespectfully towards the residents, they are always very caring and respectful. They had great activities available and the entertainment is as good as anything you might find outside the community.

What a great team! I am SW at a hospital and I refer to them often and it's always quick smooth sailing.

My dad lives here and the staff has truly gone above and beyond for him. Very appreciative.

This community was too pricey for what I was looking for but wow! Gorgeous!

They take such good care of my mom. Friendly staff and good food!

Looked at this community a few years back when my dad was alive. It would have been my first choice for them together. Beautiful grounds and tons of activities but I think my moms dementia has put her past it at this point and she needs a smaller place.

I had to quickly move my dad into a memory care assisted living. It was the hardest decision I have had to make so far. It was a terribly exhausting weekend of touring. It was so sad, depressing and honestly pretty scary. I saw about 10 in my area. Each one I left with the feeling of "No way, can I move my dad here". Artis was my last tour. I was so taken back because right away i felt it was the one. It was an instant yes.. Artis was the only one I would bring my children to visit grandpa. It was clean and cheerful. Not scary at all... it was actually a pretty easy choice after seeing the others. My dad has been there for 2 months and he loves it, I love it and my kids love going to visit. It's clean, secure and the staff is exceptional. I really love it! Its not 100% perfect but every issue that has come up has been taken care of quickly and to my satisfaction. It definitely should be on your list of places to tour.

Placing my father in a dementia care facility was something I prayed I would never have to do. Although dementia has robbed him of so much, we still see him as the greatest father in the world. After visiting quite a few facilities, we chose Artis. It is bright and clean. The staff are friendly, caring and understand how to care for dementia patients. Although it is a secure facility, it doesn't have a “locked in” feel. My father has been at Artis for two months now. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the entire staff. They treat my dad like family. They call him by name. They genuinely care about him. He is clean. His room is clean. He participates in activities like exercise class, bingo, noodle ball, movies and more. He is happy and comfortable. No, it isn't home. But I feel that it is as close to home as it can possibly be. I know he is safe. I know he is cared for. I know he will not wander away. Thank you to every single member of the Artis staff.

Artis Senior Living of Princeton Junction is a first class facility for people diagnosed with dementia due to Alzheimer's. Everyone on the staff is available to the family of the resident when there are questions about the care of the resident. Financing is explained to the family before the resident is moved into the facility. Relatives have access to the staff and the facility on a 24 HR/ 7 DAY a week basis. Meals served to residents are of the variety and quality one would expect from a highly rated facility. Resident living conditions and care are superior to other communities in the area.

We were very blessed to have had our dad at Great Falls Assisted Living. The building and outdoor space is expanisve and perfectly designed with 4 neghborhoods and big walking areas for loved ones with dementia. The nursing care is exceptional and available to families and residents 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Activities run throughout the day to help promote memory, physical activity and happiness of each and every community member. Most importantly is the care, comfort and love provided by each and every staff member. It is clear that those working their have passion and concern for their work that far exceeds job requirements. There are many newer places with the latest electronics; but Great Falls has the most experienced loving staff providing exceptional attention to each and every one of the residents in their community.

Our mother had lived in a facility prior to Artis. I thought all facilities were the same, but that is far from true. My mother has never been so happy and is thriving wonderfully. Artis goes above and beyond caring for their residents and their customer service is fabulous. All staff members are pleasant to be around which is more important in a personal care home search than anything. Thank you ASL!

Cherry Blossom is a facility that is upbeat and fun to be in. They are clean and very safety conscious. I enjoy visiting it here. If circumstances were such that I needed care I would certainly consider being here.

[Name removed] gave me a complete tour of the facility. she answered all my questions and gave me a package of documents to be filled out if I decide to have my sister become a resident of the community. I found the design of the community would most likely meet the needs of my sister.
