Artis Senior Living

Artis of Davie is an excellent community, very friendly, 5++! They keep you very aware of what's going on with your loved one. They're having zoom meetings on topics like Alzheimer's, depression, and dementia. They have a Facebook page where they post activities, and they send you pictures of your loved one. They keep the families very active and participating. There are a great variety of activities - they show movies, and on Fridays the have ice cream nights. Every single holiday they actually do something for the staff and residents, they put up decorations and serve cake. They celebrate birthdays once a month. We're not able to visit in person due to the pandemic, but at Christmas we were able to visit outdoors, and they served chocolates and petits four. I really have no complaints. This place is night and day from where he was out of state. Artis of Davie was so helpful in making the transfer happen, and I only have good things to say about them.

I am a caregiver for my wife at our apartment. She has Alzheimer's and is in the moderate rather than the severe stage. Both of us before COVID attended live support groups. Now with COVID, I watch and listen to many support and educational groups during the week from Artis and other facilities. The group with [name removed] as host from Artis Senior Living of Princeton Junction was very valuable to me and she does a professional presentation. Even though I live in Marlton, NJ, I did, with my wife, make the trip to visit [name removed] (one hour ride), outside of the building because of the quarantine. I also spoke with [name removed]. I enjoy these webinars and support groups very much. Some may be repetitive but, if I learn one new idea, it is very satisfying to me. [name removed]'s Circle of Friends Support Group is special. Everyone can say anything and discuss anything and know it will stay within the group in addition to learning new ideas. Thank you [name removed] and Artis

Artis is a state of the art facility to care for seniors with cognitive issues. The staff engages with residents in a loving manner and creates a home like environment rather than an institutional setting as many other places do. While it is a secure environment to ensure safety, it isn't a depressing locked ward. During the pandemic they made great efforts to post pictures daily on Facebook and facilitate window/outdoor/Zoom visits to meet the needs of the families.

Did a tour. Staff seem very capable and caring. The facility is beautiful and meets so many needs!

After my amazing mother had a life-changing accident, I knew she could not live on her own ever again and Artis was the solution. The facility is beautiful and the staff truly care about Mom. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her care and the directors and staff I correspond with.

I work in the healthcare industry and have had great experiences with Artis Senior Living of Lakeview! The staff is wonderful and always willing to help residents with anything they need. Highly recommend.

I've been extremely happy with the care provided at Artis for my mother. She's been at Artis since January 2021 and she's already verbalized that she's not particularly interested in coming home-- which is a miracle! I, nor my mother, feel like a number at Artis. We are treated with customized care and attention because we, like everyone, have individualized needs. The daily programs and events are outstanding! I equate Artis to a "cruise that goes nowhere" because there are so many fun things to do and food everywhere! I highly recommend Artis for your loved one (or yourself) if memory care is required.

You have put your own health at risk, protecting and caring for my friend and everyone else entrusted to your care. None of you could ever be appropriately compensated for what you do and the love and care you offer, and I’m sure there are many who are as grateful as I am. We were both blessed to find Artis and you. You helped me with things you should never have had to deal with, and [name removed]'s time at Artis made her happier than we have seen her in years. Living stress free in a spotless environment gave her the security she needed, and one of her repeated comments to me was that she didn’t have a care in the world, and that was wonderful to hear. You made it your mission to welcome her and make her feel at home, and the picture you hung and the blanket you gave her were two of her prized treasures. I will miss her tremendously, but have many happy memories, including the Christmas Eve FaceTime, when I was able to watch her happiness when her aide helped her open her gifts.

The staff members would be a five plus, and the facility is a beautiful, The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms there would be a five out five. I would visit my husband every day and i felt so comfortable and welcomed there, the staff knows you by name and greet you. There could not possibly be a better facility.

I think they do a good job in memory care problem-solving. It's not as fancy as the others but they are on the ball with the care of the residence. I would recommend this community to others

Having to make such a difficult decision about the care of the love of your life is extremely difficult. I can say at this time, I have a tremendous peace seeing how my loved one is cared for and nurtured at Artis. Even during this Covid crisis, every effort has been made to keep me abreast of his care and well being. I look forward to getting photos of him enjoying all the different activities he is able to do. I love that he can walk everywhere, even outside whenever he wants and be safe in such a secure environment. Thank you Artis

It's a well-run facility, They have the best interest of the residence at heart. I thought they were one of the better experiences I had with senior living. I feel they did everything they could to make my dad feel compfortable. I would recommend this community to others

Artis of Davie community is very clean, and the staff have been phenomenal. Under normal circumstances the care services are good, however right now they are currently going through some staff changes, but they still have gone above and beyond for us during this time. The activities were good before COVID, they had a lot to offer the residents.

We recently transferred my Stepdad from a New Jersey Assisted Living Facility to Artis of Davie. The service was excellent, we were helped all the way, with suggestions of persons available to help us get this done during this Covid-19 time. [name removed] of Artis of Davie was invaluable to us in proving all the information and staying in touch to make sure we were on track. My Stepdad made the transition from NJ to Davie with very easily. He likes it very much and is now very close to us and we can visit. We would highly recommend Artis of Davie for their memory care facility and their caring and informative way of treating both the family as well as the Elder Person staying with them. My Stepdad continues to tell me how good it is, the food great and that he is happy.

We would recommend Artis of South Hills to friends. I think it is a nice community. It isn't too large, and it is new. They take good care of the residents. My loved one seems to enjoy the food.

I would recommend this community to friends. The willingness to work with the family and the personal care are amazing. The staff are wonderful to talk to on the phone. They have allowed garden visits. As long as they don't have a positive case, they will be allowing indoor visits soon.

We chose Artis Senior Living of Evesham because we thought the value for the money was good and they are also very close to where we live. The room sizes here are good sized. My mom seems to enjoy the food, so no complaints with that. The bets part about the community so far has been the staff, they are good as far as taking their time to see if residents are comfortable and well taken care of. We have also had good communication from them if there is a question or issue that comes up. I would definitely recommend.

We chose Artis of South Hills because we wanted some place that was flat with no steps, someplace clean, and a place specifically for dementia patients and they fit the bill on all of these. The room sizes are excellent. She is in a single room and it is plenty big enough for her. They have shadow boxes outside of each room and you can decorate them however you'd like. They also let you decorate your own room so it feels more like your space. I have eaten here several times and I believe it is excellent. They use some of the fresh foods from their garden that residents help maintain. My favorite part of the community is the activities provided. There is something going on all the time. [name removed] is phenomenal, he does things like give the residents haircuts, he does their nails. etc. They bring therapy dogs in every 2 weeks for residents to walk around and pet them. I would absolutely recommend this community.

One thing we really liked about Artis Senior Living was the overall friendliness of the staff and other residents. It is very clean community. The room sizes are about average. My mom absolutely loves the food! We are just thrilled with our decision!
