My father is still adjusting to this community, but they are trying their best to care for him and his needs. They have a good staff here, I know he is in good hands. He has gotten involved in the community with the activities they offer. The food has been a problem with my father. He says the food arrives cold and they take a long time to serve the residents. I like the fact they are willing to work with us with any concerns we have. I know he is safe and being cared for well here. I would recommend it.

During the tour that my family took they said that the community is really nice. The tour guide was both knowledgeable and friendly. Its kept organized and very clean. They do offer meal plans for families that are looking for that option. The community is also pet friendly. I really like how the community tries to accommodate everyone and meet their needs.

My mother enjoyed her respite care here for two weeks. The staff was friendly, the meals were great, the environment was clean. Great experience!

The staff are doing very good with my mom and they provide a really clean community for her and others. My mom seems to participate in the activities available. Her meals must be good because we have not heard of a complaint yet. I would for sure recommend this community.

My father is doing very well at this community. So far it seems like he had adjusted very well to it. It is a very clean community, they really go above and beyond with the cleaning. The staff have been great to work with. They are caring for him very well. Only bad part about this community is that there aren't many activities. The food is pleasant, he enjoys the meals. He is close to me so if anything happens I can get to him quick. This is a community I would recommend.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

The facility was clean and the residents seemed content. The memory care unit was dark and depressing but was locked down for elopement purposes. Wish my Dad didn't want to escape so he could live in the assisted portion.

Looked at a lot of places toured 2 American Houses. They are very happy to explain and assist you. They are proud of their residents and their facilities. Their caring attitude makes all the difference in my selection for my lover one.

I think they do a great job at American House of Elmwood! The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff do a great job looking out for the people who live here. I really like their activities program, they've always got something going on, and have lots of trips and events! They also do a great job with the food, my loved one is normally a picky eater, but loves the food here!

My brother felt like it was a good experience for him living at American House Farmington Hills Senior Living. We were really happy with this facility. It was a good experience overall. Everything went quite well here with dad.

So far everything has been great at American House Dearborn Heights Senior Living. It is one best prices of the places we looked at. They seem like they have a lot activities at this facility but my father-in-law hasn't participated as of yet. We are waiting on his wheelchair and then hopefully he can. The staf have been so understanding with them. He has had some accidents and they don't make him feel embarrassed, he really appreciates that. He did say that the food is really bland there but he gets plenty of it. Everything really is going pretty great.

My motherinlaw hasn't been a resident for very long, but feels very at home. The residents ad staff are very friendly, and it's very clean. She enjoys the activities.

Very happy to hear that they will accept the Medicaid waiver, which we are in the process of getting my mom on, with the help of the Henry Ford home health team. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your kindness and help.

They are very friendly and very clean, it's a nice place. They are pretty attentive, they are on top of it when that bell goes off, they keep track. The food is pretty good, and always on time, and the sociability is good. It's a good option, and they have a lot of different programs and ways they can help with different obstacles.

American house Westland is just what I was looking for.

Beautiful place--excellent rooms, menu, and staff. A good place for a parent who is willing to be more active. Unfortunately, my mom would not make full use of the amenities. I think she would do better in a more home-like atmosphere. So I am choosing an adult foster home for her and crossing my fingers she does will.

My mother loves living at American House Elmwood very much. What I like about this one it is all one floor. She does not get confused about levels. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My loved one had only been living here for a few weeks before he had to go to the hospital, but he is looking forward to going back. In the short time he has spent there, it has been a great living environment. The director, Patty, has been amazing. I give her high marks. She is easy to talk to, very helpful, and wants to work with you. I have had several conversations with her, and she is very patient, she listens, and is very accommodating. She has provided wonderful suggestions for us as well. Definitely check it out!
