Since my loved one has moved in, she's been doing very well gere! Everything is very clean and the staff are all very friendly! She seems to be happy here!

My father never moved into American House, he refused, although we begged him to knowing that he would be in a social, well cared for environment. Sue from American House was exceptionally helpful to me. She called each month to check on my Dad and I and was extremely helpful with advice about care givers. I think if my Dad had been in American House he would still be alive and thriving, unfortunately the dementia grew worse and he passed away very suddenly. I would highly recommend this facility having toured it more than once. Just the attention we received not even renting there was amazing. Thank you Sue for being such a kind, compassionate person, the tenants of American House are lucky to have you.

My mother was the one who decided that living on her own was becoming more dangerous. So we / her children started to search a new location for mom to call home. This Senior Living Center was everything we were looking for. They are courteous, compassionate, friendly, attentive to their residents and their families, clean and no smells. The activities are chosen for seniors. They understand the needs seniors have....the rooms are cleaned weekly, laundry weekly, 3 meals a day. The food is delicious ...per my mother. They have reminders daily and also check on their residents at every meal. This community living has been a positive experience not only for my mother; but also her family. Highly recommended.

Beautiful facility and appears to be wonderful, caring staff. Very clean. Monthly rent of $4700 way beyond our reach.

Really nice and very beautiful. The food is great! My mom is just not comfortable socializing with people she doesn't know and making new friends so we're kind of stuck. It's a nice, comfortable size with 50 people or so, not hundreds of people like some places. She just doesn't want to go to any assisted living. We heard that there was a higher level of food here because chef's designed the menu so we were sure to have lunch here and it was excellent.

My girl friend's mother lives there. It's a one story building so they don't have to deal with elevators so that helps a lot becuse a lot of the older people don't like elevators. I have to give them a five because they're just wonderful for my friend and her mother.

We chose American House because of the familiar location and I liked the fact that it is all on one level so there are no stairs which was important. It also just looked like a nice facility and the staff were friendly. The apartments here are decent size and very clean. Overall it is a nice place with great staff, good food, and we would recommend them.

I would recommend the community to others, for their loved ones. The staff take great care of the residents. It would be nice to have a stronger Physical Therapy program here. Some of the activities include bingo, entertainment, and more for the residents to choose from.

American House Sterling Heights Senior Living gave a very informative tour. Their staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The community itself was quite nice. It is very clean and beautifully maintained. It was not quite the right fit for my Dad, the community we chose was a smaller community, we felt American House Sterling Heights Senior Living community would be a bit overwhelming for my Dad.

The tour I had taken at this community for my loved one went fine and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions my mother and I had for them. They had a very clean property with lots of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the right fit for her in the end decision.

It's been very good for my mom since being in such good care. I like that they have activities, they keep them very busy and engage through out the day. The meals have been good. The staff helped my mom out and accommodated her during the passing of my dad.

We are overall pleased with the positive atmosphere. It is nice to see my mother-in-law happier and starting to try activities. The staff are nice and respond well to feedback for improvement. The community is always kept clean. My mother-in-law enjoys her meals. I like the change in her overall confidence!

Great chef and meals. I think the chef is a nutritionist. Just fabulous. Great people. Great Place.

Due to unexpected health problems, my mother had to return to the hospital after only two days. During her short stay, I found the staff to be very concerned and attentive to her needs. I hope that she will be able to return there again after she completes her rehab.

The management and staff at American House - Dearborn Heights are friendly, compassionate, and patient. They make the resident experience feel safe and comfortable, physically and mentally. The 2-bedroom villa apartment is very roomy and close enough to go to the main center for a tasty lunch. With Dearborn Heights being centrally located, it is easy to arrange transportation to doctor visits, shopping, and church. I am quite happy my mother chose to move to this American House location.

Staff is pleasant and helpful. They take good care of my brother.

Current decor. Nice place. No odor & it was clean! Friendly staff. The apartments inside memory care were good sized & everything seemed like it was going to be a great place for my mom. She will be moving in soon. I'm hopeful, excited & a bit nervous because she has always had her own place. Now she needs more. I am praying she will become accustomed to the new change & be happy! I believe with their help & guidance we will both be ok!

Sweet staff that have gone above & beyond. Clean, organized facility. Only concern was the medication wasn't given at set times. I know staff is busy, short-handed at times etc...
