My father-in-law has made the transition to American House Westland Venoy well. The staff are great with him and they encourage him to be a part of their actifity program there. There is transportation to doctor appointments and field trips for those residents who want to use it. And my father-in-law enjoys going to the dining area with the other residents and they have a great menu and food. I would definitely recommend American House as the staff is pleasant, very organized and truly care about their residents.

She loves the food, and that is very important to her! American House Senior Living is a beautiful and clean, well-maintained community. My mother-in-law has all the things she needs, housekeeping, numerous activities to keep her busy. Her room is spacious, it is big enough for her and her walker. Her room she has now is bigger than her very first home. Here in this community, she has become a social butterfly, the residents are very friendly and she is making friends. It shows how happy and comfortable she is living here. The friendly staff takes great care of her needs. We feel we have made a great choice.

The most professional people that I have dealt with. My aunt lives here, and is treated with respect and dignity. Much thanks to [Removed], [Removed], [Removed] (maintenance) and [Removed]. To these wonderful human beings, the home is just not a job, but a way of life. I am very blessed to have them look over my family member.

All concerned are super! Apartment was clean and ready. All employees are courteous and eager to help in any way. Both directors and assistant director were/are very helpful and show strong concern for my mother;s well being

[Removed] was great and the tour excellent. I can see my mom living there. One delay is working to see how I can medicaid approval.

My favorite thing about this community is how lovely and perfect the apartments they have to offer are. They are very spacious inside and is very easily accessible for people with wheelchairs or that may have a handicap. The floor plan was very well designed and had the perfect size kitchen for my loved ones. We where all set up to move into this complex,however we had a family emergency and could no longer make the move.

This holiday we toured with Rita the weekend manager for my mom. This community is beautiful inside and out. It appears everyone is so attentive. Rita had cookies and a gift waiting for us at the end of the tour which I felt was so perfect. We left a deposit for main part of the community. We had toured 4 other places and this will be her new home.

I toured last week at this lovely community and experienced a totally different experience compared to the poor review on here. ( couldn't have been the community I toured) I started out touring the manor building ( smelling wonderfully) and looked at a cute studio apartment . The size was a bit small for me however enough space for my mother. I was able to see the dining room while residents were eating. The menu featured two choices with alternatives. The staffed was helpful and kind. This community is perfect for my mom , this is the community she will choose.

I have recently read the reviews regarding American House in Farmington Hills . I was saddened to read the last review as this was not the case for us. The property was clean, and inside community was not with odors. We toured inside and looked at a very cute studio apartment. The menu was offering 2 choices and alternatives for the lunch and evening meal. Lots of activity going on for residents as well . We found the staff to be helpful and friendly . I would recommend this community to anyone .

Everything has been going great here and my brother is starting to transition. They keep the community clean and neat all the time. The only complaint is that he got a hamburger and it was cold. There have been times where the food is cold and just not good. I would like to see more activities dealing with music since my brother loves to play.

My mom Shirley lives here at the American House. She really loves it here! The staff is great… The food is very healthy & good tasting. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Thank You for all you do!

They were fine to tour with. As I gathered information, it was going to cost more than my brother-in-law can afford. We liked the outdoor area, it was nice. The staff and residents were friendly n the community was clean.

My father is still adjusting to this community, but they are trying their best to care for him and his needs. They have a good staff here, I know he is in good hands. He has gotten involved in the community with the activities they offer. The food has been a problem with my father. He says the food arrives cold and they take a long time to serve the residents. I like the fact they are willing to work with us with any concerns we have. I know he is safe and being cared for well here. I would recommend it.

During the tour that my family took they said that the community is really nice. The tour guide was both knowledgeable and friendly. Its kept organized and very clean. They do offer meal plans for families that are looking for that option. The community is also pet friendly. I really like how the community tries to accommodate everyone and meet their needs.

My mother enjoyed her respite care here for two weeks. The staff was friendly, the meals were great, the environment was clean. Great experience!

The staff are doing very good with my mom and they provide a really clean community for her and others. My mom seems to participate in the activities available. Her meals must be good because we have not heard of a complaint yet. I would for sure recommend this community.

My father is doing very well at this community. So far it seems like he had adjusted very well to it. It is a very clean community, they really go above and beyond with the cleaning. The staff have been great to work with. They are caring for him very well. Only bad part about this community is that there aren't many activities. The food is pleasant, he enjoys the meals. He is close to me so if anything happens I can get to him quick. This is a community I would recommend.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

The facility was clean and the residents seemed content. The memory care unit was dark and depressing but was locked down for elopement purposes. Wish my Dad didn't want to escape so he could live in the assisted portion.
