Me and my kids really liked the facility. The apartment was very clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I can't comment on activities, because my mom doesn't participate in them. They just had a grandparents day celebration Sunday. All family members were invited, face painting, games, musical entertainment and then dinner. It was a wonderful day and everything was perfect. All the staff are very caring individuals, always friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. The food is good and it is nice that they have flexible times for meals, so you can go whenever it is good for the resident. The facility is clean also. My mom has a very decent size apartment. She really appreciates that she has a key and can lock her apartment when she leaves. Overall, we are very happy with American house. Hope that helps you

I went on a tour with the Asst. Exec.Director, she was very nice and she gave us an extensive tour. Inside the facility was clean, fresh and the outside grounds were well kept. The residents were also very friendly. My dad will become a resident in September 2026.

Care was superb, cleanliness was good, staff was great. Loved the apartment size. I would recommend to others.

Well, so far so good. It seems like they're taking good care of my father-in-law. Every time I go, it smells fresh and clean.

The main supervisor was most helpful in answering questions and taking me on a tour of the facility. People were very friendly and I was introduced to several people who have worked at Elmwood for many years. I Would feel very comfortable.having my son live there, although most of the people woulf be considerably older than him.

The apartment size is spacious, and the staff is very friendly. The facilities are well maintained, and the price is good. The third-party support staff may not always be as efficient, but they are trustworthy. The only issue has been with the technology related to drafting payments and generating receipts.

We visited American House about two weeks ago, the house was very nice and the people was nice and friendly. The only thing I found out about it was the pricing for living there.

We moved our 96 year old mother into Memory Care at American House Venoy last Friday. Yes, it's difficult for her and family to process this transition but it's getting better every day thanks to the competency and caring staff that works so very well together, with clients and their families. After visiting 9 care facilities, American House Venoy was our unanimous choice. Contractor [Name removed] made magic happen preparing her wonderful room in only 3.0 hours. "[Name removed] reminds me of my GreatGrandMother." "Come join us at the live music concert in our commons room" "I'm a teacher, too" (several residents stopping by at meals) Yes, the transition is and continues to be difficult for mom, (how has lived in the same house since 1968). But it's getting better every day because of the staff -- the wonderful staff.

Staff was superb, eager to please and caring. Room was huge, and very clean. Activities were fun and Occurred many times a day. Food was good and substitutes for the specials were always available. Highly recommended American House- Elmwood.

What we like the most about the community is how helpful their staff members are but the food is not very good. However, yes we for sure would recommend American House Dearbone community to other families.

This facility is located across the street from Hines Park right on the perimeter of a neighborhood, which I loved. It was very clean and the staff (the 2 I spoke to) were nice. The dining hall was very nice, reminded me of a restaurant. They had a selection of 3 rooms for me to see which were slightly outdated with regards to the kitchenette and bathroom, but I had visited another facility that day with updates. Having said that, I was very impressed and my gut felt good about my mom living here.

They were a very caring staff. Very accommodating. I felt they were truly concerned about all of their residents. Very patient and professional.

The staff was very helpful and the facilities were clean. Residents were out and watching television, doing puzzles and other crafts in reception area. The location is ideal for observing outdoors and wildlife.

Clean facility!! Great staff. Nice size room. I would absolutely recommend this community to others who are currently searching for a place.

From [name removed] in the front office, to the driver who accommodates them, the medical staff make sure they have what they need all the time to the dining staff, everything is amazing! They enjoy to food, they choose not to join most of the activities, due to my step-moms dementia, but very much enjoy their apartment being cleaned and their laundry service. We absolutely picked the right place for them!

My sister and I have only visited approximately 3 times from California to see my dad. The times that we have visited, we were pleased. Everyone has been welcoming and kind. I do like the apt like setting and the efficiency and consistency of the help that my dad needs. He seems to be adapting well to the environment and staff at Farmington. This is my observation from the times that I have been there.

[name removed] was extremely helpful in the original tour and move in. [name removed] is the handy man and helped my nephew set up the tv on the wall. The medical team is excellent.

The entire staff (both medical and housing) is excellent! They are professional and polite and very helpful to my uncles (who are 79 and 83). Thank you A Place for Mom for helping me coordinate the visit and getting them both moved in.
