great facility. I was happy with what I saw. This place is in the running for my mom.

We moved our Mother from an Ann Arbor Assisted Living that was a terrible experience for our family, to American House. American House has exceeded our expectations in daily care, activities, accountability in services , communication, and even daily contact with Administrators and Staff. It has been an enjoyable, clean and friendly environment that has put our mom and family at great ease. Last night they completely overwhelmed us with the most outstanding Family Christmas Party! We could not have imagined a more perfect evening. Their Chefs seamlessly prepared a gourmet meal, from appetizers to dessert to 260 guests! The elegant meal was served by smiling, joyfilled staff, with tables and room decorated, live music, and a cheerful handsome Santa who came to each resident bringing joy and comfort. AH staff worked so very hard last night and left the residents and families feeling loved and served. We were in awe the entire evening. Our only regret is that along with taking our mom from the former AA Assisted Living, is that we could not bring those sweet elderly left behind there to our American House. Our experience between the two is incomparable. Thank you American House Administrators and Staff for showing our elderly the respect and dignity they deserve, and being accountable to those who trust you.

American house is a place where the staff put their hearts into service and care for not only their residents, but the residents families. We have benefited from their services for the last few months. The activities are organized and timely, the housekeeping is efficient, the chief is creative and rotates meals well, servers work diligently, maintanance keeps building in good repair, and management is personal in their care. The medical team offers a lot of services as well. We recommend American House because it's a place your loved one and extended family can truely say they have a great home/family to be with and share memories/ life with.

Loved the place: situated in the woods and still close to stores and library. Rooms are bright and clean with balconies. Food was very good. Maximum opportunity for socializing. Pets allowed but $500 entry fee.

LOVED this community!! It smelled wonderful, it was clean, it felt "homey" the minute I walked in the door. The apartments were well kept and roomy!! Nice place!!

Well kept good food. Apartments are nice size. No maintenance issues lived here for 3 years. Its worth the money

The number one thing that stood out to me during my tour was how happy the residents were. That spoke volumes to me!

first, this is a top tier facility--2 years old and beautiful..the services and staff are excellent..administration is responsive and professional my mother has lived in this facility for approximately 3 months, after moving her out of her former assisted living residence...she is very happy living at american house..as her son and power of attorney who lives 1000 miles away, american house staff has done an excellent job in keeping me informed and active in everyday matters involving my mothers well-being

This is a beautiful place and the staff seems very helpful & friendly. It was just a little too far for my mom to be. But I wouldn't mind going their myself eventually

SOUNDS OF TIME LIVE MUSIC DUO, always has a wonderful time, bringing the best variety music memories for all the residents. From Patsy Cline to Elvis, and more. [Name removed] and [Name removed] make it fun, along with all the residents, singing and some dancing to all the great tunes

My husband and I attended an event at American House and had such a wonderful time, everyone was so nice. We look forward to our next visit.

I have visited every community in the Villages and this was by far the most welcoming. The people that live at American House are so friendly along with the people that work there. This is our number one choice! We placed our deposit and making the move.

5 star community! Such a beautiful building, the pool deck is resort like. I was impressed that you can eat at two different places in the building anytime. Worth taking a look at..

I toured this community and couldn't believe they have full kitchens and washer/ dryers in all the apts. The cost is affordable, you can eat when you like and even have transportation if you need it.

American House is definitely worth visiting. The apartments are spacious the building is well maintained and everyone is so friendly. Don't let me forget how good the food is!!

We toured this community and was so impressed with how friendly everyone was that we came in contact with, from the staff to the residents. We felt so welcomed and feel that American House is a place we will call home.

The restaurant in this community is wonderful. Residents who live at American House get three meals per day included in their rent. They have a large menu with so much to choose from and what's even better you can eat whenever you want. I rate this community 5 stars!!
