American House

My husband and I live here and are very happy. I think the residents are the best and the employees are even better! Everyone is super friendly and we could not be happier! We are so glad that we came to tour!

My wife and I lived at another community before we moved to American House. This is 100% friendlier than the place we were before and I realized that the first time we came to tour. This place has great employees and they are all friendly!

I have felt at home here since the moment I toured. The staff and residents are happy and friendly. I don't always remember everyone's name but they remember mine! Everyone always has a smile! It is a great place to live!

Came for a tour of American House on a whim one day as I was looking for placement for my grandmother. The tour was exceptional and I was intrigued by all the new renovations they have done. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone. They did not have an opening at the time I came to tour, which I could see why as this place is top notch!

Our overall experience with American House Bartlett has been wonderful - it has been just what my uncle needed. More men his age. He is not the youngest in the facility anymore and that means a lot to him.

We toured with American House Cedar Lake and It was nice, but the bedrooms where small and my mom furniture would not fit.

We absolutely love how Anthology at Burlington Creek takes care of our mom. I love how everyone seems to know my mom. They call her by name when they see her. They are welcoming when I stop by and are always willing to talk with me as a friend. I love the updates o get when my mom participates in activities and love to be able to see what her favorite activities are that she attends. It's a warm and welcoming environment with patient and caring people.

My loved one was a resident at Mount Prospect Senior Living and our experience at this facility was great. [name removed] in sales was helpful and congenial. This facility is a very nice place with very nice people. I didn't try the food, but I never heard any complaints from my loved one. Overall, a great experience at this facility. I would recommend Mount Prospect to friends and family.

The staff at this facility is amazing. It's a beautiful environment and my family member is extremely happy. Will highly recommend to anyone for their loved ones. They go above and beyond for our loved one.

I am the grandson of a resident currently at American House West Knoxville. If my granny is having a bad day or just not herself someone calls me and lets me speak to her and I can usually cheer her up. Her room is always clean, she is always nice and neat, her hair is done at the beauty shop, and she is loved by all the staff. She wasn't eating well at home and now she can not wait to get to meals because the food is great and she likes the restaurant vibe she gets because they have servers. The DON and ED are nurses so they are very helpful with and questions I ever have and make sure it is ran very smooth. They also have nurse who have been there for 7+ years. The facility is very nice and clean. I had toured other places and everyone said bad things about American House West Knoxville, they were the only community who didn't bad mouth anyone else. I liked that about them too. I think new management has it going how it should be and like a oiled machine. I am pleased with them.

My 88 year old grand mother is currently living in this community. Admission process was smooth, quick and everyone so helpful. They are so knowledgeable about resources for VA benefits and other community resources. Staff is amazing, greets you with a smile and is always working. The Management team is always walking the floors to ensure things are running smooth. This has been a huge adjustment for my family and my grandmother but without the wonderful staff we couldn't have done this. The facility is clean, beautiful, great atmosphere, great activities, and delicious food. I am so glad to be a part of this family and so thankful we choose them for my grand mother. I stay informed from the Wellness Director of any changes and just updates of how she is doing and someone is always in communication with me about her. I know American House West Knoxville has what it takes. I have toured many facilities and they were the friendliest, cleanest, and most knowledgeable about care.

My Mom lives here and I have to say I am just so pleased with the direction this community has taken since [name removed] has taken over as Executive Director. She cares about the residents so much and they really seem to have the right team in place now. The food options are much better and there are always extra choices if they don’t like what is offered. The activities director goes all out with decorations for events. The community smells good and is very clean, the staff is so friendly.

Our family had an in person tour with Palms of Fort Myers and the residents toured us and after we left they said that we were not going to move our loved one there because of the lack of security (things we had noticed on the tour). However Fort Myers were we liked one of the units a lot but the cupboard's/microwave were regular height;.

5 for all...my mom is so happy she moved there. My mom loves the food; buffet breakfast (she takes fresh fruit/ cereal to her apartment when she's finished in a to-go box since lunch is not included) and the dinners have been great, with quality, quantity, and many of her favorites offered along with a glass of wine...she loves that it is restaurant style with a menu to order from and courses brought to the table. She has participated in lots of the activities (loves the happy hours) and now has "friends" she looks forward to seeing each day; the residents were very welcoming and friendly from the beginning. My only complaint would be that no one gave her an orientation upon move-in. I had to ask the director for information I think should have been offered immediately...when her dinner time was, where she should sit, etc. She went to get something from her car one night shortly after moving in and discovered the doors were all locked; luckily, another resident was going in and gave her the keypad number to open the door. Aside from the slow start to figure things out, she is so happy that she lives there and feels so at home (and I am thankful since we moved her from St. Louis where she lived her whole life to come near me...it could have been a not so great experience!).

American House Riverview Senior Living gets 5 stars for everything. All of the staff and the residents here are very friendly. The apartment sizes and amenities offered are good. I would highly recommend American House to others looking for independent living.

We moved our loved ones furniture in, but our loved one had passed away before he could move in. However from what we experience at American House Shallowford, everything was great. I had one friend already there, so I mostly had some good visits with her. Interaction with the staff was very good.

What our family likes the most about the Anthology of Town & Country is the great line of communication the staff members have. They are all considered a family when taking care of our loved one. Based on our experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families looking into the community.

It's been a very good experience. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They are fast to address any issues or help that may be needed. The one thing to be aware of is that you eat at mealtimes. There isn't food available between mealtimes. There are a bunch of activities if you choose to be involved. Most activities end by mealtime.

Assisted Living at American House Hendersonville has been wonderful for my mother. She loves it there and has really come out of her shell and become a social little butterfly. It's just great.

I don’t know what I would have done if it hadn’t been for [name removed] and [name removed] at American House West Knoxville. My mother in law has advance dementia and it was so hard for us to be with her 24 hours a day with work. I looked and called every where trying to find help and all I would get was sorry we can’t help. [name removed] and [name removed] went above and beyond to help us and got my mother in law the 24 hour care she needed. They are angels on this earth for sure
