American House

My mother has been here almost one year now she is happy with the staff and food. She lives the activities they have. We are happy with overall care.

I was shopping at Coconut Point mall and heard some ladies talking about this place so I decided to stop. By and take a book even {name removed]. I don't have an appt one staff immediately to me on a tour and a sales woman answered all my questions even if I asked her for beautiful location great staff.

I just had a friend of a friend call me last week looking for a spot for his mother. I would recommend American House after all the other ones I looked at. It's very bright, light and airy, the staff is wonderful. They've been so kind to my mother and helpful to me. Every day there are multiple activities and CNAs come to each person's unit to see if they want to attend. There are games, painting sessions, work outs. There are so many things for my mom to do. Now, as every place, administration could probably use some help in planning and staffing, but I would choose American House again, and so would she

[name removed] was very knowledgeable about anything we ask about. Also, very courteous and accommodating to our needs. Other staff members were also very courteous and friendly.

This community maintained electricity with generator! (5 days) Our amazing management stayed onsite 24/7 throughout for 6 days providing delivering meals and all services! Communication was excellent! Safety was priority.

I get a chance to work in a lot of homes with an assortment of staff. The staff at Charlevoix is awesome! They communicate very well, and if I am not able to make it, they make sure the patients still get the care they would have, along with a follow up to me and my nurse. I don't feel the friendliness is forced, or fake. It makes me want to go to work there.

All the staff is great. I enjoy doing the activities. I enjoy listening to the banks that preform during social hour and ice cream social. I have met a lot of new friends,.

I chose American House because everyone was so friendly. A lot of activities. If I am late from an appointment I can eat in the salon. All of the staff is excellent.

This is my home until I leave this earth. Family parties, communication.

The director was very nice and knowledgeable. Everyone was very nice. The Facility was very clean.

Everything I would want in retirement!

This type of facility is not cheap anywhere. To be able to have my mom in this one specifically is a huge blessing. The care is at the proper level and everyone is alert and concerned.

My wife and I are very happy living here at American House. I am a 92 year old retired professional. You can't go wrong choosing American House as your retirement home. They offer adult, assisted living and memory care in a modern well maintained building.

This is my second stay at America House. I came to live here after I lost my home in Hurricane Ian. Lived here for 9 months. and enjoyed it very much. I'm now here for the second time because the dr said I could no longer live home. I knew this was where I wanted to be.

The entertainment at this place is amazing. Today they had disco dancing from 5-7. My mom was extremely excited. She loves her place at American House. The location is close to my oldest brother and sister in law house in Saline, and also university of Michigan hospital is close by where she is obtaining care for a benign tumor.
