American House

My loved one was previously a resident at Mount Prospect Senior Living and the experience was great for her at this facility. It was a great place! Based on our experience, I would recommend Mount Prospect Senior Living to others.

The place is very good. As with any health care facility staff changes periodically. Overall we have no complaints. If an issue comes up it is addressed immediately.

What our family likes the most about American House Hampton Village community is that the caregivers are very compassionate and they are great with mom. She enjoys the meals there as well. The chefs make delicious meals.

My loved one is currently a resident at American House Wildwood and everything has been great for her there so far. The staff are very helpful. I had a problem with the cable and they took care of it immediately. I would recommend American House Wildwood to others.

My mom seems more happier at American House she is eating better and doing a lot better. The facility is clean and they have enough staff to support the residence. The staff gladly assist the residence with daily needs and they have a lot of patience with all the people that lives at American House.

We have had a good relationship both with the administration and the staff on duty. Friendly. Supportive.Available staff. Reasonable cost.Food is good, most of the time.

Very pretty community, large units. Very bright and airy. Salesman was very helpful, caring, and informative.

I would recommend the friend check it out and make sure it's within their budget. My loved has only been there for about three months so ask me a few months from now. The one area I am somewhat concerned is if the new ownership makes any changes to services. They said the right things when the senior management team was introduced to the residents and care givers back in March. So far, they are living up to their word and have not made any drastic changes.

[Name removed] was very helpful discussing all aspects of the Palms. She took her time discussing details. Took a tour and reviewed a room and dining area on the 5th floor. [Name removed] reviewed the food menu and the many options available. We also viewed the dining area on the first floor. [Name removed] was very reassuring and made us feel at ease. She is very knowledgeable and personable.

What our family likes the most about Mount Prospect is the staff. The staff members are very friendly. Wasn't at the facility long enough to make many friends. Very upbeat environment. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

[name removed] was an amazing leader and always went above and beyond to serve her clients and their families. The music was great but they need more daily activities. Would be great if my Dad could have found a friend while he was there... The food was pretty bland, it was his biggest complaint

I truly believe that American House Bartlett has added years to my mother's life. Her life at home was holding her dog alone and watching tv all day. Now, she has a wide variety of friends to hang out with. She just celebrated her 96th birthday that they made a big deal out of. They have a doctor that makes house calls there weekly that she thinks the world of. They have monthly family night with a theme. All family members are welcome to come and have dinner. We bring the great grandkids on that night. We bring her dog every Tuesday to visit. It makes her day along with the other folks there and the staff. She loves her room there, the staff and her newly made friends. I highly recommend American House Bartlett for anyone's elderly loved ones!

I just moved in Saturday but so far everything is great.

I enjoy the activities. Pleasant personalities in office staff. Everything is available if you ask. Would love to have more pet activities.

My brother si a completely different person since he moved in. This staff made it so easy for our family to make the decision and the process was seamless.

When it comes to the friendliness of the staff the American House Employees receive a 5, and the medical team a 3.5 so we would give them an overall 4. There is always something for our loved one to do, the daily routines are super helpful for her. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My mom has been there about 9 months now, and we are very satisfied. It was a huge upgrade from the assisted living she was at, in Westland. Like night and day. The laundry and housekeeping staff is attentive and dependable. The field trips and activities are plentiful. The balconeys ate great to look out at all the birds , squirrels etc. There is outdoor seating area for the residents, and a free laundry mat you can use if you want to do your own laundry.
