American House

American House has been very accommodating to my mom and her needs as they continuously change. The staff and their 3rd party affiliates are wonderful and friendly! I am so glad I chose to move my mom to this location.

Loved the place from the first time we walked in. From the friendly management to staff. Everyone always has a smile on their face. Very clean place too. We’re so happy this is were we placed our uncle.

American House is a very nice facility. It feels more like a hotel lobby than an assisted living facility when you walk in. The staff are all very nice and the food is very good. My family is very happy with our choice.

My daughter moved me here after rehab. I have made friends.

From the time we stepped thru the front door we felt at ease . It is a beautiful place, and the entire staff go beyond to help everyone my wife just fit right in and felt comfortable and she is not a social person. We would recommend American House to everyone.

I have lived here since 2018 and it has just gotten better over time. The staff are amazing.

There need to be better alternate meal choices when the main course isn't desirable to the resident. So far the food has been just average. I would just say we love everything about it but there needs to be a broader choice for meals.

The residents are very friendly. Culinary staff is wonderful and caring. I really enjoy the outings and life enrichment is doing a great job.

Mom is really liking her new place and the food is fantastic!!! It was a really good move for her and us. Everyone we run into seem to be very nice and very helpful. We are very happy with our choice.

Everyone is nice. I don't eat here but my foods food looks good.

I'm so excited about mom's new place! She is thrilled about the wonderful meals, games, and the time she spends painting an art that she just discovered. We are so glad the have found American House.

I really like the building and I thought the rooms were nice. I like the availability of the staff, but the staff is completely turned over.

The activities they have at Freedom Place are great. [name removed] always has something fun for them to do he's always throwing fun parties gets everybody together. The nursing staff and direct care workers all right on point I am glad I chose Freedom Place. The admissions process in marketing persons we're also wonderful made sure I knew exactly what we were getting into made sure I knew what all of this meant.

The overall experience has been good, and we are awaiting the processing of a tax-credit application which will reduce the rent to an acceptable, more affordable rate. The area needing attention is dining hours- they are very limited, and many times the dining room is over crowded. The menu is just ok, but the chef is new and seems open to listening to the residents. Executive Director [name removed] is very professional, friendly and helpful. The Village at Bloomfield Village is in a convenient location with lots of shopping options. The facility is beautifully decorated and always inviting

Needed an affordable and close by place to allow mom to live with assistance. American House was a great choice for us and her. She enjoys the staff and residents and doesn’t have to live in isolation anymore.

I feel that the residents at Freedom House get a well rounded dose of activities. [name removed] goes above and beyond to make the residents really enjoy themselves. His decorations are awesome. For my dad's birthday we had a few family members over and [name removed] set up tables tablecloths centerpieces balloons and signs for my dad's birthday party The administrative staff is just as great. They walk you through the choosing process the admissions process the moving in process they are great. Now the Care team is out of this world. They really get to know the residents what they like what they don't like. They are a team that works together to care for our loved ones. Thank you everyone!
