The lunch is adequate and okay . We can make a choice but having to choose for the whole month of 2 meals per day is absolutely time consuming and which I hate to do every month. Dietary workers that deliver food are very nice and polite. Dinner meals are not so good. No assumptions at presents.

It was just okay. The people were friendly, and it did what it was supposed to do I guess. My loved one was there for a very short respite stay. The downsides were there was no TV or phone. And she was supposed to get therapy and didn't. But they had plenty of activities going on.

The facility looked nice, it was decorated more modern. I think the guy who gave us the tour was not the person who usually does tours. At the end we were not able to get a price, so it was hard to be able to compare them to others.

Think twice before you bring your loved one here. My loved one needed extra care, and they assured me she could stay there until end of life. They're a community that promotes themselves as giving more care than a standard assisted living facility. That is just not true. I found out after I moved my loved one in that the only extra care you can get there is through hospice. But Anthology sold it as if THEY would provide extra care. And then hospice, unless you're end of life, is only available a few hours a day, not all day. Most of the people who work there were friendly, courteous, and seemed like they cared. It was the management I wasn't happy with. They really don't take fall risks seriously and are more concerned with corporate policy than actual patient care.

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was fine but the community was much older and was going through a lot of updating because it really needed it.

I found this tour experience interesting and they did not have a pool like I was looking for and some of the other accommodations that I was looking for.

Independent living didn't have the dining room open. Only have one meal per day. Currently the (noon) meal only has 2 options available. They will be working towards more options. Apartment we were shown was nice. It was on the main floor. Has a kitchen (no frig)? Washer & dryer in each apartment. Month to month rentals. [Fee removed] community fee. Rates increase in February of each year (3-7% increase). Guardian life-line can be used. Gas, electric, garbage, water included. Phone is [fee removed]/month (to keep your current number).

[name removed] was such a good host on our tour! The staff was very friendly and greeted us as we walked through the facility. The interactions we saw between staff and residents was kind and caring. We did have an issue with the cleanliness and maintenance of the building. So much painting needs to be done and surfaces cleaned and dusted.

We chose American House at the time because we did a video tour and we had no been down to look at anything else so we went with this one. I gave the food a lower score because the quality of food and the meals hour were not good for us. It is a nice newer facility with large spacious apartment, everything is fine in terms of the accommodations. The community itself was not very open and engaging, we found the people to be stand offish and in their own cliques and we did not feel very welcoming.

The tour was just OK. I felt the staff was somewhat unprofessional and had no sense of urgency. The rooms were small and while recently renovated, had almost NO storage. Just one very small closet. Also, they are priced about as high as Harmony that is so much better in many ways.

This community will be better after covid, The rooms are very nice. The staff was friendly but there were times it took a while to get help. I would definitely recommend this community to others

Due to the pandemic the transportation and activities have been I have already recommended the community to friends. The staff has gone above and beyond in communication with the family.

I really didn't like the way the property was managed in terms of the regimented management style. The property itself was nice, but there was no energy. Not well suited for my parents.

There were a few changes with management during the time my loved one was there. The direct caretakers were wonderful. The food was the absolute worst.

The community needs more staff to help with the residence and I would recommend this community if your loved one was truly independent and did need care services.

We chose this community at the time because of the affordability, the location, and references from people we knew who had their loved ones in this facility. The room sizes here were appropriate for one person. What I did not like wasa the change of management during the short time that we were here. The last management was not personable or good with communication. Overall, I would not recommend the facility.

My loved one moved in 8 days before lockdown for covid-19 so my view is not thorough as we have not experienced much. It's been pretty confusing as for getting things done with maintenance things. Her home sold and they were helpful with all the paperwork, that's basically the only experience we had. So right now, I'm pretty neutral in my opinion of things.

We chose American House because the location and we were in a hurry and they availability. The room sizes here are adequate for her needs. I have heard from her that the food is good. The best part about the community would be the hospice staff members, they have been amazing. I would want others to know that they were not as informative as they could have been initially, we did not really get a whole lot of direction for a new experience.

I have lived in this community for about three years. There are many good things.
