Jean was friendly and explained all services.

Most of the things they do very well. Some of the things I have found that they don't have experience on. For instance, when they did some washing for us, when they put the clothes in the dryer, they put the dryer on high heat, and some of the garments that had elasticity in them had the elasticity ruined. Since calling this to their attention though they have corrected that. There was one lady they sent to us that had to be told specifically what to do, and if you did not tell her exactly what to do, she would use the time to do some college school work. They need to take initiative on their own to see what needs to be done and do it. I am not currently using their services as my wife is in hospice care, but will probably be going back to using them again before long as they were very helpful and took a huge load off my shoulders.

I am three thousand miles away and having Luxe Home Care help with mom has provided me great peace of mind. They have worked very hard not only to make sure we have the right kind of care that we need, but that mom would accept (which can be difficult). At the beginning we had a caregiver which was a little younger and turned out not to be the best suited for my mom (who can be difficult at times to deal with) but they were very accommodating in helping us change caregivers to get better service.

We just started but so far Sally & Rose (the caregiver) seem wonderful, compassionate and very willing to work & help.

We're quite happy with Home Companion Services. The caregiver they send out is great. Overall, we're very satisfied.

They are doing just fine.

They have done a great job. They have been very reliable. We get the same caregiver every time, and the one time they needed her for something else they sent a replacement with no problem. The girl that comes out was needed in the kitchen to cook, she didn't have much experience there but is a quick study and is eager to learn. Charlene was so personable when I first spoke to her, that is why we picked them.

This is a really nice place that we felt comfortable with. Dad liked it very much.

Preferred care at Home of Macomb is a home care provider. They haven’t missed any appointments. We haven’t had any negative experiences with this home care provider yet.

They did a very good job, while we had their service. We eventually moved and that is why we discontinued the service.

They are flexible - you can get them when you need them. They offer overnight services. The caretaker was once late, but she let me know – the service called and offered a replacement – instead of just sending a replacement.

You have to be very specific about what you need – you need to provide specific directions. They’ve never missed an appointment. They are a decent value for the money. They are a useful service and we've been happy with them.

Had a bit of a shaky start, but I believe things are working out. We have a caregiver come once a week to bathe and wash my mother's hair.Tonya Iis very nice and Iit seems she and my mother are getting along well.

They come to my parents' home three times each week for four hour intervals and do lots of housework and chores. Great to know when Debra is coming and that she'll take care of the needs my parents have for shopping and cleaning around their home.

So far do good! No problems at all, service has been a great help.

we are doing 5 days per week to start, M,W,F with a companion 3 hours per day and TU and TH with a CNA 4 hours per day

So far so good! The most important Mom is comfortable with all the girls that come in, they are very friendly so she cooperates and they get along great. I also really like that it gives her a chance to talk and socialize. I do wish they would give home health aides specific training regarding Alzheimer's and dementia, classes to learn about the disease in general. Having worked with Alzheimer's patients and knowing why they are behaving the way they are behaving are two different things, and would be useful knowledge to have. I've taken a class myself and found it very eye opening.

Home care workers were competent and capable, delivering the care expected while accepting and respecting feedback of mom's needs.

It would have been a lot better if I would have spoken directly to the person that was taking care of my mother because I think some things were lost in translation. The caregiver was very friendly - she was better than a 5! She would help make my mother breakfast and lunch and just help her brush her teeth and things like that. I will probably be using them again but I will make sure to talk to them a little more prior to starting care.

I am the exectuive assitant for the patients husband, I hear his feedback and I talk to the caregiver on the phone so i have limited knowledge. I have heard good feedback, the only challenge would be the caregivers english, that's a challenge, but that's also something they can get past because they've worked with the same person before. When I called her very last minute to see if she could come in earlier on a Saturday, she immedeatly answered her phone, she said yes and she followed through. That was really gracious of her to come so last minute. I've talked to the options lady, Kaileen and dealt with her all along and then primarily Connie and she is great, super professional, responsive and friendly.
