When we had an aide there it was a really good job done. I contacted the company and an aide was sent out. I was supposed to have the aide three days a week but she only showed up two days and then disappeared. The manager was trying to find someone else to fall in line but in the end no one else was sent. The manager was nice and seemed to be trying hard but I don't think she had the staff for the services.

I had a very good experience with the staff. The management team is very friendly. The experience with the caregivers though is less than average. There was a lot of turnover, and I just needed a little bit more consistency for my loved one. Also, I had a bad experience with one caregiver in particular, and I would just caution families to be aware of what personal information is accessible in your home.

We have experienced some inconsistency with them. We had one caregiver who my loved one just fell in love with, but she suddenly stopped showing up and dropped off the face of the earth. And that upset my loved one horribly. She thought she might be dead. And we never did find out what happened. Our daytime person, however, is very consistent and reliable, and she has become like part of the family. But once we lost our night person, we had trouble finding another one through Senior Helpers and had to bring in a second service for the night and weekend shifts. Staffing has been a challenge with that second service as well, so I understand that it's just a difficult time right now throughout the industry, whatever company you might choose.

It's been okay but not great. We're on our third caregiver, and not all of the caregivers seem as dedicated as I would like them to be. They just haven't been a good fit, except or this last one. But the people at the office are very friendly. And our latest caregiver is friendly and provides good care.

It's a great company that works with you and listens to issues that go on. They are enormously accommodating, which is the best you can get in situations like these, in my opinion. [Name removed] who organizes everything is amazingly outstanding. She's super to work with She helps coordinate care for my dad and my mother-in-law, and she is amazingly accommodating. I'm spending a lot of time with my dad's caregiver, talking to him and making sure he's doing what he's getting paid to do. And I think that's getting better. My mother-in-laws caregivers are really great and well trained.

I was not satisfied because they could not give me a caregiver during the times/scheduling that I needed. The people that they sent were nice enough. They're just short staffed and therefore couldn't provide me with help I needed.

Know what you're contracting for. Most of the care is very basics, and they don't necessarily do what they are contracted to do. Alot of it depends on the caregiver.

There seems to be some confusion on who is being sent as a caregiver. They need to get to know the caregivers that they have and their strengths and weaknesses. They need some basic training that does not seem to be provided. The owner was open to feedback and tried to accommodate.

The first part of our experience with the agency was great, we communicated with them very well, everything was like what they said it would be. There was one lady who really went out of her way to take care of our loved one, sometimes our loved one was difficult and she was able to handle it. However, after awhile things got a little messy, they did not have the workers to fill the positions, so it just did not really end on a good note

They are having some staffing issues and people not being able to cover and that has been frustrating. Before the pandemic I was very pleased. The caregivers we have had are very friendly. They have a nurse (name removed) who is excellent and goes out of her way. Make sure you keep in good contact with administration about is who is coming. I have relied on them to let me know and that is not always the case. I would for sure recommend, it is a good value and I feel like the caregivers are well qualified.

We did only use them twice. WE chose Partner in Care because of their availability and they were recommended to us. We met with them and it seemed like a good fit, I would recommend to others looking.

I only used them for about 3 weeks and I was not very pleased with the caregivers that we got with the exception of one. I feel like they were not properly trained or not suited well for the care that my dad was needed at the time. The one caregiver that we did like was great with him. Overall due to our experience I would not recommend to others looking.

The billing dept sometimes struggles to call you back. I would recommend this community to others

I spoke with someone who didn't inspire a great deal of confidence. Not impressed.

Home care services [Name removed] says she can help with dad's needs

Homewatch was helpful in providing care for my elderly father who was coming out of the hospital. He lives in a memory care facility so he has 24 hour care. We wanted done “extra” care for him for a few weeks while he was recovering. There were some times when Homewatch staff were scheduled to be there and then just didn’t show up. The staff that did provide the care seemed friendly and fairly knowledgeable. I would say the biggest problem was staff not showing up at all or not showing up on time. But since dad is in a 24 hour facility, it was alright. Maybe they are more reliable if a person is in their own home. I could usually get in touch with someone when I neeoto and that was very nice.

This was one of the higher priced home care agencies and we were looking for quality care. Some of the caregivers they provide are really good at their job, others, not so much. Home Instead Senior Care has two caregivers we really like. My dad likes them and the companionship they provide. They provide the 24-hour care that we need for my dad. They watch out for him and his safety. They make sure he has the nourishment he wants and needs. They are presentable and we feel comfortable with them taking care of my dad in our absence. We have had some scheduling issues when they don't show up and the time it takes to get a replacement caregiver. We are hoping that Home Instead Senior Care will become more consistent so that this arrangement can continue.

The first caregiver that came out to the house was on time. She was proactive and outgoing. The second girl they sent out was almost two hours late and was not as outgoing. The third caregiver was also almost two hours late. When we called they tried to explain why she was late, however we decided to not have them come that day. We then cancelled the service due to this and mom was also going to move out of state. The owner was nice and I am not sure if we would use this service again.

We used Options For Senior America for a week. We had a good experience with the caregiver they sent to my home.

We had a couple of problems with the Senior Helpers. First, the day that it snowed really bad, we had a caregiver scheduled to come and she never showed up, but I still got billed for it. They still have not gotten back to me on that. Also, when I first interviewed them, they said they knew how to do stuff they did not.
