They're an enormous convenience but they have limitations. The care is variable. There are different people involved - some are a 5 and some are as low as a 2. The owner of the company called me and asked me how they can improve which I was very impressed with. He seemed to generally want information instead of just encouragement or confirmation. Sometimes the send us superb people and sometimes they send us people that are not as well trained or prepared as I wish they were. At the moment we have a woman who works her tail off and does what she knows to do very well but they haven't told her enough about what she is supposed to do. There were people that know what they were doing from A to Z and do it with cheer, calm and real delighted willingness.

We were very pleased that we found somone but it turns out she's a school teacher so she'll be leaving and we weren't told that before. We didn't like either of the first two people they sent out but Stacy was fabulous!

Competent process, but, they did not deliver candidates quickly enough for us to proceed.

$19-23 per hour with minimum of 3 hours. Will do one visit at $45 for 2 hours or less.

They do not tell the truth. They tell you they will have one person and then you get someone else, we get new people all the time. We have had a lot of scheduling issues. It has not been a very good experience.

My biggest problem with this service was having them to send out someone to take care of my mother who was fully certified and fully vaccinated. There was a promise that there would be a primary and a secondary caregiver was never given and it was difficult always having different people in and out

We had only used Pink Hearts temporarily while we were looking to find an assisted living community for our loved ones. Everyone was very friendly, nice and all of that. However, we think they had some scheduling issues, because some care givers would not show up or come late. For those who did not show up the owner would come herself. This was to no fault of the owner she was awesome. The owner was just so caring, and passionate. She handled herself very professionally and was just phenomenal. For the care givers who did show up were great, but it seemed like they did not show up or were late more times then them showing up on time. We do know the pandemic had a lot to do with it, because Pink Hearts came highly recommend.

When out caregiver quit to move on to a better opportunity, we didn't find out about it until a few days later - from the caregiver, who stopped by to check up on my mom. Since we had scheduled a caregiver for the next day, I called the office to ask about the situation and was told they had another person they were going to send. I was surprised and asked why, after going to all the trouble to introduce us to our first caregiver and verifying that the personalities were a good fit, they were planning on sending someone new without an introduction or even a notification. They didn't have an answer for that, so perhaps it is SOP in the industry, however I was unhappy with it and we decided to put off having a new caretaker until there was a greater need for Mom, and probably after researching a different company.

We are having a bit of a struggle with this home care service. A few of the caregivers that we have worked with have been let go , and there were several times that the caregiver was late to the house. I have even have to leave work in order to care for my loved one when the caregiver could not make it. Overall, we are not too pleased with this home care service.

I would say our experience with this home care agency was a fair match. It was a learning experience, but overall a positive experience. I would some there is some room for improvement, but the service my mother received was responsible. I would look around at some other home care agency, before returning back to this one. I feel my mother needed more care than they were able to provide.

We used the services from this agency a couple of times. they sent different people for assistance and my mom didn't like the changes. The caregivers are very nice and courteous people.

I would have gone with them, but I didn't really click with the girl they sent out to meet us. It wasn't a good match for us.

Not adequate

We have had some issues. There have been reliability issues, as well as communication issues. We went with them because they offered a lower minimum of hours. They clock in and out on the phone so we know when they are there, that is good. The people have been pretty friendly, but reliability really is key.

Medstaffers was hired in June 2015 to provide Caregivers for my quadriplegic wife. I quickly realized that they only had one dedicated person able to care. Anytime she needed off they would scramble to find coverage. Most of time they failed and would simply call and inform me they had nobody. As time went by continued to have “all their eggs in one basket”. Countless times they failed to provide coverage even after having several weeks notice. After six months of this instability I put my foot down and was quickly given notice they were terminating service.

The first lady that was sent to stay at night with my 92 yo Mother who was imminent, was HORRIBLE!! She threw my Mother around like a sack of potatoes when getting her in and out of her wheelchair. There were several issues with that particular lady. I requested Senior Helpers send someone else. They tried to talk me into letting her come back. NO WAY!!!! I finally got them to agree to send someone else who was gentle and had some compassion, which they did. They never sent an invoice or anything when they charged the credit card for their services. I had to call and ask for one. They overcharged me by 3 hours. My Mother passed around 2:40am and their sitter left the house roughy around 3:00 after I got there. They charged me until 6:00am. I sent them email about the overcharge and they never responded. I wanted our communication in black and white for proof instead of a phone call.

Staff slept on floor in front of the TV. My dad could not get through to go to bathroom, went downstairs, had to take off o2, no walker. Cigarette butts on porch railing, candy wrappers on counter. Slow/ failed to return calls/respond to email. Very slow to refund deposit. Then sent to wrong address.

The care was very unreliable there would be mornings where no one would show up without any notice. They also would show up late often or would leave early. Also there were times when they aid would be caught sleeping
