I was not satisfied with this home care agency. My husband wasn't comfortable with the care givers. They were not good at following instructions. I would ask the care giver to do some thing, and she would do it her way. We had many issues with the home care agency. I would not recommend it.

The initial people that came in with Home Care Assistance did a great job selling the service. However, they didn't have enough staff to handle their client load so they subbed out nursing staff. The lady we got fed him and made sure she got him from point a to b but she watched TV all day did not engage him in any way. I also noticed one day that she pulled him up by the seat of his pants, I just thought this was really inappropriate. So I called to complain and get someone else out here but I didn't hear back from them for weeks. So I had to terminate the service. I realize they were short staffed but they are still responsible for holding up their end of the bargain. I am not satisfied at all.

They don’t show up pretty frequently. They were friendly enough when they did show up though. You get what you pay for and we’ll probably be needing to find a different home care provider pretty soon.

The original phone call was very friendly, and a caregiver was available immediately, however because no onsite personal interview was made by the staff, the caregiver did not meet specific requirements we requested. It has been a learning experience if after two weeks the caregiver is unable to work with the patient it is best to review the situation and make whatever changes are necessary. Because this agency deals with contracted personnel it required two checks be written each week for payment. There is no method of keeping track of hours worked. The family did not think the patient had issues out of the norm, and therefore was expecting the caregiver to be prepared for the challenges of normal senior concerns. Because of hearing issues combined with heavy accents, it made communication difficult and didn't allow for good rapport between caregiver and patient, or a very happy environment.

Jeff was somewhat helpful. Medium priced. Nurse assessment costs $150 and is needed. Not sure of license, if worked with our long-term insurance company, and didn't know if he could get a [removed].

We were VERY disappointed. They insisted that they knew their caregivers so well and so would match us with someone who fit our needs for my grandmother. Instead, they sent someone who had never worked for them before. she was very nice but completely unqualified for the job- she might be a fit for someone else, but her low energy and passive nature (though very sweet) was not a fit at all. Mostly we were just very distressed that we had been "sold" on this on the idea that they knew their caregivers so well and so would be able to find us someone who met our needs...and it seems like they didn't even try. She did not meet the criteria that we so carefully provided at all. We stopped service after 2 days.

We had to discontinue the services with this agency. They just could not send the right type of caregiver to help out with my sister.The first person they sent was too small in build to help transport my sister than the second one was not licensed to go caregiver work. So here I am paying for this service for them to provide care and I am doing all the work.

This review is regarding the owner, [Removed]. My family employs several of her staff. I had specific concerns and wrote [Removed]. She NEVER bothered to respond. I find this very rude and unprofessional.

They just didn't show up. Plain and simple. I had to text the boss, and he had someone come out and sit, but it was not at all what I had hoped for.

Poor services, unable to contact them when an emergency this weekend April 30, 2016. I contacted them on behalf of my sister and her husband under whose care they were. One of the aide yelled and screamed at the patient so loud I was scared hearing her, I happened to be on the phone with my sister at that time. The voice message is of no use, there is no "Tone" to leave a message, and the voice mail saying a coordinator's phone # is unclear.

Bottom line. Sorry I used them. Sent unskilled worker. Poor work ethics. After I paid. Cannot get receipt/bill after 3 calls. [fee removed] an hour waisted.

After an exhaustive evaluation we picked Whole Life because they were family owned and appeared to be able to provide the services advertised. However, after approval of [name removed] ins. claim, and after several previous assertions they could staff the position, all of a sudden claimed they couldn't find a person willing to drive the distance to the job. This was done at the last minute and came as a complete surprise. Even though they did refer us to their competitor BrightStar, I cannot help but feel they were somewhat disingenuous in the way they represented their capabilities.

My experience with Home Instead Belton was not the best. I asked over and over to send the SAME caregiver as a person with dementia becomes easily confused with change. There was 8 different caregivers. Out of the 8 csregivers 2 were such wonderful ladies and poured their heart into the care they gave. This office doesn't reach out when a client passses away They are VERY inconsiderate and inconsistent. Choose wisely

Cornerstone was ok until their director left and her replacement (who was hired for a different job eight weeks prior) took over. Caregivers would often no-show, or there was no one scheduled at all. When I stressed the importance of reliability (I have a full time job and can't always leave if someone doesn't show up), I was told that they depend on someone signing up for that shift and they don't always have someone. One time they had a guy scheduled for my 80 year old mother without asking if it's OK. After a few weeks of this, I had to find another agency because they were actually contributing to my stress and burden.

My mom was scheduled for 24/7 in home aides. Workers often did not show up, or left before the next person arrived and my mom could not get into her chair to answer the door. They would sleep on the job and one day my mom called from her bedroom for assistance for TWO hours looking for someone to come get her and help her to the bathroom. The company was very prompt in starting care and collecting money from us. Horrible communication. No one at the home office seemed to care when we called to discuss the problems my mother was having. They said they would look into it, but never did.

With Rehoboth services, I was not able to experience Aide punctuality at all. Limited Spanish speaking network. Communication with Owner and Office Staff current and on-time. Aide selection can be improved, just referring to my experience.

I was very disappointed with the experience. I waited for the director to come by with the assistant all day. Late hour I received a text that there was an emergency and they couldn’t make it. Understood but I was contacted only after I texted. Two days later a woman showed up at my house without the director telling me she was the new assistant?! Communication is key in any business! Lastly, the refund check bounced!! I was reimbursed eventually but it all left a bad taste in my mouth.

The person that was assigned to my mother did nothing but played on her phone. She also indicated that she would work cheaper by cutting your company out, and charge my mother cash?!? As I followed up on Edna’s care, I quickly realized that she was not getting the help she needed.

I was admitted and was shown my bed which was still unmade by a previous patient. The first night I spent the entire night with a diaper full of shit. I complained several times to the attendants but no one ever came by to clean me. The facility was filthy and kept extremely cold in every room. The next day I complained to the person in charge but the service never became acceptable. The next night I complained of chest pains and still a dirty diaper. The following morning i left without permission and was put under the care of a much more acceptable and professional facility. I would never recommend this place. It was horrible, unclean, and I also believe unsafe!

Presentation of their services and abilities was satisfactory. However that was not I/ we received. The caregiver was not experienced; I clearly stated the severe medical condition of the client., The care giver was not certified; It was stated that the caregiver would be.,On the first day, the representative was late as no was not in Philadelphia. She arrived late. The caregiver had no identification to verify that he worked for the company. Most days the caregiver was late and spent time to eat his breakfast before see the client., and He spent more time on his computer. I had to dismiss him and terminate my relationship with the company..It was not a very good or professional event.
