If you have a family member that needs assisted living, this is the only facility that I would recommend. I toured other places and I was not impressed by them. The Benton House is more like a family to my loved one. I would highly recommend the Benton House of Titusville. This place is valuable to me because I know that my loved one is safe here. Everything has been going very well. I rate them five stars.

The Brookdale Coconut Creek is a wonderful place. It is very well organized and maintained. My mother recently moved in and the residents tell me how much they like it. My mom loves the food. She loves the atmosphere. The nursing staff seems well trained. The location is accessible. There is plenty of parking. This is an overall great place. I would highly recommend the Brookdale Coconut Creek to anyone.

This place is broken up into neighborhoods so you don't have a nursing home effect and it is more like an assisted living facility. They help a variety of people as well.

I am extremely pleased with Serenades, Longwood! The entire staff there is top notch from the front door to the back. They're friendly, caring, and very interactive with the residents. Their concern for my mother, and all the others they care for, really seems genuine, and makes you feel like a big happy family. The facility is very nice, well decorated, and comfortable for residents, visiting family, and friends. They provide state of the art technology for mental stimulation, security, and room monitoring - without invading room privacy. It is clean both inside and outside, and very well lit. The bright colored paint and decor, tops it all off, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. It's also very secure, so I never have to worry about my mother wandering from the premises. Their monthly calendar is jam packed with a variety of activities, parties, movies, you name it. We started out with taking my mother there for their Day Services/Activities, and also a 5-day respite stay. Both of which include the same care and activity as a resident. I was extremely impressed at my first visit when I saw the resident art work; and brought to tears when my mom came home with her own colorings. Upon seeing the positive impact they were having on my mother's overall well being, mood and attitude, I realized that Serenades was providing the ideal and high level of care I was dreaming of for my mother. The care and trust I have gotten to know, made it much easier for me to make the once difficult decision to make my mother a resident/family member, and not just a daily visitor. This is no ordinary Assisted Living facility. They are above and beyond what is expected, or have been portrayed as, over the years. Two thumbs up for Serenades are: the fact that they encourage and give an open invitation for family and friends - not only to be involved with your loved one, but to participate in their activities along with your loved one. And two, you are greeted by name, no matter how many days have gone by without seeing us; and that requires true attentiveness in my opinion. I would highly recommend Serenades of Longwood, and believe all of the Serenade by Sonata locations are just as wonderful. Job well done Ms. Fernandez and staff, and thank you for making us a part of your beautiful family.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale Coconut Creek. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly, caring, and they've done a great job looking after my loved one. They've really done a tremendous job handling her memory and anxiety issues. Sometimes they will let Mom "help" with some paperwork, she was a secretary all her life and this helps her feel useful and calm. I also really appreciate how well they stay in touch with us, if they know that I can't visit for a few days they'll text me pictures of Mom and what she is up to. It's an excellent place, and I highly recommend it!

We've used Benton House a few times for respite care, and they do an absolutely wonderful job! I'd give them 20 out of 5 if I could! They really are caring and wonderful people here. Everything they provide is top of the line, and the staff are all loving and professional. I also really like that the facility is all one big connected building, my loved one worries about getting lost in some of the more spread out communities. Really the only negative thing I could say about them is I wish they were bigger, sometimes they are full when we try to book a respite stay!

The Horizon Bay Vero Beach is a wonderful place. This community has a beautiful atmosphere. The people are very friendly. This community is a 5 star facility. It is very well kept. The value is great. The care givers do a wonderful job of taking care of the residents. They also have a variety of activities. The Horizon Bay Vero Beach has been a positive experience for my mother and I. She is very happy here.

I can't say enough good things about Benton House in Titusville. When my father (who has early-stage dementia) was suffering a health care crisis, my mother and I explored Benton House as a "step-down" option to ease his transition from hospital to home. The executive director met with us and patiently answered all our questions. The tour of the facility was informative, and the facility itself is sunny, well-maintained and does *not* have a "nursing home" air about it. (The executive director was quick to tell us they choose to use the word "community" rather than "facility" for this reason.) While my dad was in step-down care there, he took advantage of the social opportunities Benton House offered (e.g., a trip to a nearby wildlife refuge, lunches out) and I appreciated getting email newsletters from Benton House with information about these social opportunities. Also, when the Benton House staff observed some caregiver stress/fatigue on my mother's part, the executive director called me immediately--and told me to call her back, on her cell phone, on the weekend! I was really impressed with this level of attention and follow-through. Although my dad is home now, I (as an out-of-state child) rest easier knowing that Benton House is a phone call away in case respite care, step-down care, or adult day care is necessary sometime in the future.

Serenades is a housing and medical facility... critical for my mother and her needs. she was just moved here. I give it 5 stars. the place has all kinds of fancy stuff, including jacuzzis and hair salons and the staff is very nice. the clinic right there, makes it very convenient. There is nothing else like it anywhere else and their prices are very affordable. around $4500 a month. the last place we were, they charged twice that much and it was horrible But Serenades is a great place for mom!

After checking every place I could find in Boynton Beach and nearby areas; we chose Brookdale at Homewood for my 89 year mother. The hominess,attentive staff and layout of the buildings were a draw. The activity director is so full of energy, concern for the residents and good ideas that she is a real asset to the community. We didn't choose the place with the most chandeliers. We chose the homelike comfortable place with welcoming staff and residents. For my mom it is a good fit. The total cost depends on the level of care required. [removed]

An unexpected situation arose with my father requiring help for three to four months. Polly and Jan were most helpful getting him situated on short notice. The attention given my father while there was outstanding. We actually saw him improve in mobility, speech, and cognitive function while in their care. When it came for him to move on, despite 'losing' a customer/resident, everyone at Serenades was gracious and appreciative of the time they had with Dad. I cannot thank the entire staff enough and have offered my contact information to them for anyone considering moving a loved one there.

A Place For Mom provided us with I think 6 recommendations and this particular one turned out to be by far the best one. The others were great but we chose this one for it's proximity. Very straightforward.

It boils down to staff. They are friendly and kind to each other. They interact with each other in positive way. My husband seems very very well adjusted. Every place is the same but boils done to staff and you can tell they are well adjusted there.

I really like Inn on the Pond. The people there are super nice and we have been very pleased with the experience.

They do a fantastic job here! They've helped my loved one in so many ways! The care they offer is great, and they've helped him make friends and be more social! And the food here is very good, which is a very nice change from some of the places he has stayed! I like that they have very generous windows for each meal time, and that a few snacks and staple foods are available at all times. The staff here are all very friendly and caring. The aide staff do a great job looking after the residents, and even the administrative staff obviously genuinely care about the people that live there. We've had experience with quite a few communities, and this is the first place that felt like he was going home. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking into care in the area!

Things went very well with Homewood Residence at Delray Beach, we were very pleased with them! The facility itself is terrific, it looks very nice and was clean and well kept. The staff were all very easy to work with. They were cooperative and proactive when it came to the care they offered.

Derek (who I believe is the marketing manager) is very personal and wonderful. Shonona (sp?) brown is very warm, accommodating, and sensitive.

The staff at Serenades By Sonata West Orange cared for my wonderful mother for the last 9 months of her life in 2013. My mother was 96 and needed 24 hour nursing care and the staff at Serenades took the best care of her from the nurses to the maintenance personnel. The facility is VERY clean and always welcoming to family members. My mother was treated with the utmost respect and the administration is open to all comments and requests.

Serenades by Sonata Longwood, is a special place to me. My mother lived there until she passed away in 2012, at the age of 98 years old. I saw first hand the affection and care provided to her and to the rest of the people in residence. It was all that I and I think everyone who has a family member staying there would hope for. Serenades is a well conceived and managed facility. Management is committed to excellence and loving care. I continue to visit, out of respect and affection for the people who look after and take care of our loved ones.
