I enjoyed my tour with Kelli who was very helpful.

This community looked nice enough, and all of the staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful. The rooms, however, were very small, and would have proved to be a mobility issue for my loved one.

This was one of the locations I toured while looking into places for my Mom. This place was very new looking. It was a nice clean looking place, and the staff were friendly. However, the atmosphere wasn't what I was looking for for my Mom. I wanted somewhere that would keep her active and social, and this place just didn't seem as lively as some others I visited. I was also looking specifically for somewhere that did not have specific dining times, as that type of eating schedule doesn't work for Mom.

I liked this place. I plan to take my mother here for lunch.

It's great, but a larger facility, and we thought that she would get lost since she's legally blind. Other than that, we loved it, wonderful people and wonderful facility!

There are many outstanding features about Homewood. It is relatively small so you know everyone and they know you. The lobby area, dining room and activity are very inviting. The rooms were spacious and there were many activties to keep residents busy. Marcia is the activities director and is outstanding. They had Shabot services which my mother really enjoyed. There were many places nearby to take residents. On the flip side mom complained about the food. When she was taken by EMS to the hospital she was alone. I question whether they handled her stroke the best way as I live out of town and could only monitor by phone.. My mother was only there for about 10 weeks or so before moving back home following her stroke.

Current Ranking = #1 choice. This is a clean facility. I like the idea that they are independent buildings and each one can exist on its own. It is a small community, but does allow residence to interact with other buildings. There prices are excellent. This is one of our top choices.

More attention to every resident as far as problems develop. They are there because they can't take care of themselves. They can't watch every resident because the staff is spread too thin. It would be great if they could have staff on call in case an issue arises. From what I hear, the food is good! It seems to be a fairly clean place.

It was just too big and that's why we didn't like them as much. It was larger with many more people. That's basically why we didn't chose them. I thought it would just be too much. In terms of cleanliness and all that I didn't see any places that were not good.

It was really nice but it didn't have all the different types of care. I wanted that so we could stay together and not have to start looking for a new place if we need more care later on.

My husband and I went out there to check this place, but we didn't check out the memory care unit for some reason. Again the rooms seemed small for mom and dad together. Didn't see any men at this facility.

We chose this community because of the condition of the community and the friendliness of the staff. The community is really clean and well maintained. We also liked this community because of the food, which taste pretty good. We do feel that they need more staff on duty and the ratio for staff members to residents should be better. The staff could also use a little more training to really make them just that much better.

Our favorite except for location.

Very nice but few residents and so new that can't get a good feel for what it would be like when fully staffed and filled. memory unit has outdoor areas but they are barren, could use some greenery so not all rock, brick and tile.

Homewood is a nice facility but beyond our price range.

Like this facility very much but even though it is the closest to my home they have no vacancy and it was considerably more expensive.

Management is super friendly and responsive but the CNA's is not as friendly. The food is okay. The value for the money is average but expensive.

I thought The Glades at ChampionsGate was nice. But I just didn’t feel the warmth that I felt at the place that I ended up choosing.

I love the building. It's very open and sunny. I think it's better for people that have all their mental faculties, like if they were to request someone to come help them, it works well. My loved one has dementia, so we're in there often to monitor things, and I don't believe they're in there very often to check on her. So we're working through those things. They've not been responsive to our concern like I would expect. One thing I really like is when my loved one has lost her dentures or hearing aids, they've been super receptive in looking for them and taking responsibility had they not been found. But as far as overall responsiveness and making sure she's getting bathed, we're still working on that. But I feel like my loved one is happy overall, which is the most important thing.
