The staff at Sonata are phenomenal!! There is not one person who doesn't smile and say hello, or offer to help. I've even seen the Director in the hallways touching up paint. They have been above and beyond. However, my dad had a health issue that took about two months to get cleared up. I was unsure of where the disconnect was....and I think I've narrowed it down to their in-house physician. Although he's extremely convenient, I think I would suggest future residents to keep their current physician.

There was a change of ownership a while back and a lot of staff changes. That was hard. Now everything seems to be running smoothly, I don't know the new staff as well as I did the old. Communication with families seems better.

I was told many times that something would happen, but that wasn't communicated to the right people and so it didn't. The yard is beautiful, activities are great, staff is very friendly and food is very good. The only downside is a lack of communication between care admin's and their respective staff. Potential residents should ask for specifics for what their own personal care plan will look like and then hold them to it!!

It’s a clean facility first of all. Staff is friendly. The med techs are all very nice. There is as much interaction as needed. It’s good for residents that want to be preoccupied as they have many activities but also good for those that prefer to be left to their own devices. I have had no major issues. As with all things, however, one must be as involved as they can be to make sure things are running smoothly. Personally, I liked to be informed of what is going on with my loved one. Overall, I am content with this facility and the professionalism I have encountered.

Loved the community overall .. activities and food are good no care needs , but I think we can do more activities. We have a committee that helps as well as a resident president. The views are great and the staff are extremely friendly and we have a say in what goes on

my sister has lived here for a few months in assisted living and she is very happy. no place is perfect but this community is friendly, clean and inviting. the new management is great. I would recommend this community to anyone!

the new management here truly made a difference. the community is friendly, quaint and beautiful. the sales team comprise of warm-hearted women who truly care about your loved one. I would recommend this community

Overall, I would recommend this community. The benefits outweigh the weaknesses, and it is an overall a good value, especially when compared to other nearby communities. I would say the food/dining is a bit of a weakness. Quality is inconsistent, variety is lacking. They often run out of items (hamburger!) or have things on the menu that they refuse to cook (steak). Meat/fish is frequently overcooked and dry and bland. Desserts are great though! Activities are varied and numerous, as are the physical facilities. General use areas are very clean and well maintained. Staff are wonderful, warm and friendly. Weakest points are laundry facilities (woefully inadequate in number of machines), weekly unit cleaning service is very minimal/limited in scope.. Cable service is only included for a single TV. A second TV costs $[fee removed]/month. This was not made clear ahead of time. Wi-Fi signal is weak in many areas. It's slow and often goes down altogether. Transportation to doctor's appointments is very limited. This was a major attraction for us, and has been largely unavailable. When you're lucky enough to get a ride, they refuse to turn on the air conditioning in the vehicle that transports them, even with a heat index of 90-100 degrees! (Too much money they say) Huge disappointment! Despite the shortcomings, it's a lovely facility..

Addington Place is a very clean community, lovely apartments, nice dining room, but the food is....okay, helpful staff who seem genuinely caring of their residents. Staff greet ME by name, which impresses me

Communications of changes from management such as change in pharmacy providers or of management team to families is not timely or consistent. They do try to follow up on care requests or dining issues. Staff is very familiar with residents and their needs.

I've only been contacted by the facility one time when my mother fell but I know she's fallen several times while living there. I feel the staff could be more communicative, even if over text, about her current health issues. Otherwise, the facility is great and my mom is settling in well

Felt good with my Uncle being there! Front desk staff were always great. Only downfall was short staffed often. Not the workers fault.

Yes I would recommend it. My mom had a hard time adjusting as the people were cliquey but she now has one good friend there, plays Bingo, cards and paints. She doesn't love the food but it's good enough.

[name removed] health declined quickly. She was unable to there very long. They were not able to start therapy and wound care as quickly as stated. Care staff seemed frustrated with her level of care but we paid for their highest level. Lovely place for more independent residents. Facilities wheelchair van transport and driver exceptional. Food service excellent. A beautiful facility

I would definitely recommend. We've had a very good experience.

Not a bad place, kept up to date , friendly staff, but a bit pricy for what you get.

The administration and staff of the independent and assisted living divisions are great. I would recommend Addington for assisted living.

There are times when some residents get out of control and they could use additional help to assist the residents that are left unintended. Over all I haven’t any issues with them. They’ are sweet caring people. I visit my husband often and I see that the residents have pretty much no contact with their families.

The Addington is almost $[removed] cheaper and they have more outings for clients. We really like all the activities and outings they have for the residents and would recommend them to other families.

We did so much research trying to find a good fit for our parents. Tuscan Gardens. has exceeded our expectations, the staff, food atmosphere are exceptional. Upbeat energetic. The staff truly care for residents.
