My mom had a fall at Emerson and broke her hip. After that, she declined and passed away a few weeks later. I had to pay for the following month, even though I gave Emerson a heads up about the situation. There was no flexibility with management at all. I was very unhappy with how they handled things.

I didn't care for the community during the tour. The tour guides were nice. It felt the residents weren't as engaged as we wanted for our loved ones. During the tour it felt hot in the community and they had fans trying to keep the residents cool.

Started out well enough but over time constant staff turnover with non-experienced people who were giving poor care. NO administrative oversite of care or staff.

I think that it needs to stop being promoted as an active adult lifestyle facility because it is not. It is between a nursing home and assisted living. A lot of the residents here need way more care, I would say about 65% of them. I feel like part of sold a bill of goods. I would encourage people to do lots of research for wherever you go and do not go by yelp or all of the other reviews, because a lot of times they ware not done by the individual who is actually living there. The website shows that it was remodeled but it was not, only one part was and that was due to ice damage.

High staff turnover, cannot get resolution to any problems.

Moved my parents out after 6 weeks of lockdown during Covid (no residents had Covid, employees did), meals skipped during the lockdown. Told several times that my parents were not "on the list to receive food delivered" The entire facility was on food delivery due to Covid. Facility ran out of food! Staff would walk in to check vitals on my healthy parents 3 times a day, starting at 6:30 am! Lack of respect for privacy. Our family spoke to the administrator multiple times. They were apologetic and nice nothing changed. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures on their website. The food is the worst! ALWAYS cold and many times unrecognizable. We showed the food to one of the administrators who responded, "well I'm not surprised." Poor mismangement by admin. Meadows borders on elder abuse because of overly strict "corporate" guidelines to keep residents in their rooms at all time, not even allowing them to check mail. The Haven in St. George - locally owned and no corporate rules.

We did not have a good experience with this community. The staff members were not encouraging so she never got out of her bed. The convenience of the facility was good, the problem was that they kept changing personnel and every time I got familiar with the owners and staff they would sell it to someone else and it would all change. We also had a lot of issues with communication. I would advise people looking here to strongly maintain control of your loved ones money and not just turn it over to them.

Bad experience!! I had my mom there recently for 3mos and she died while lying on the floor. She had called for help by pushing the nurse button and nobody came. They found her hours later. This senior living is not a safe place and staff is non caring and also management. They have a nonchalant attitude. State needs to come and investigate this senior facility.

This community was great in the beginning. However, over time the customer service, resident care and communication from their management has decreased tremendously. Unfortunately this facility does not care about the residents, only their bottom line for profits. I would not recommend this facility for any family looking for a safe and secure place for their loved one. Currently does not have a full time director, nurse or receptionist which all positions have been filled with temporary and inexperienced people. Resident and facility staff turnover is also very high for these same reasons. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else in the area. Beware of this place !!!!

Some very unfriendly upfront office staff

Walked into chaos after having difficulty finding entrance. "Apartment Building" feel as apposed to 'Home'.

Administrator is rude! Doesn’t even know her families by name or sight most of the time. I have seen her treat her workers with disrespect. There must be a better way.

Legacy Ranch Memory Care Community was not a good choice for our parents. We decided to move our parents after only 1 week there because it was more of a skilled nursing care atmosphere as the residents were in a more advanced stage of dementia and there was not any real interaction whatsoever.

I am not impressed and actually very upset with how things went at this community. My mom wanted to try out this property before she had made the final decision to move in for a seven day test trial it was going to cost us over eight hundred dollars. Well after the first night there she had decided it was not for her and she would not be moving in at all. The staff would not refund her any of the money when she spent only twenty four hours in there. I think that is absolutely sneaky and not right. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

[Removed] is the worst example of a professional I have ever seen. Do not expect a return phone call even if your mom is on hospice. Don't expect to just drop in on her either. You will wait outside her office until she feels like blessing you with her presence. Her staff are not like her. Thank God. It is disturbing she is their leader though. I have emailed, called and stopped by. It is a constant job to try and get a response from her. When you do, its like you've asked for the world to stop spinning. She will tell you a family is difficult or high maintenance if they ask anything of her. So all is fine if you ask for nothing. I cannot move my mom or I would. There are other families who feel exactly like me, but worry about [Removed] retaliation. Because there would be some. She is just the type. The owners and rest of staff seem very good. Not always, but most days, that makes it worth it. If I would have known what [Removed] was before, I would have went to another community that might not have been as clean or food as good just to deal with a nurse I knew actually cared about my mom. Because I know [Removed] doesn't care about my mom.

This community was the best until new management arrived on the scene. Previously, the employees were extremely caring and competent, but new management is either running them off or firing them. The excellent executive director left August, 2015. Now the activities director, the RN, the cook, the medication aide, and many caring employees are either gone or will be soon. MANAGEMENT IS RUINING THIS COMMUNITY!

Tony the head nurse is the most disrespectful unprofessional rude human being I have ever met a caregiver that was a right fit for mom she had removed off moms case and shortly after mom past . this lady does not need to work here very upset with spring brook I don't recommend anyone to go there

My Mom was only here for 1 week and 1 day and we moved her. The staff did not provide for my Mom's needs. They treated her no different than someone who could provide for themselves. They did not assist her with feeding or going to the bathroom. The weekend crew was excellent, but during the week, my Mom did not get proper care. She had a bath the second day she was there, and did not have a bath again until a week later. Not a place for someone who cannot do for themself.

I didn't like how they treated my mother in this place. The staff in the evening is very lazy and the management needs improvement starting with the head. Never trusting this place again.

Worse place ever, I would not leave my dog in this place. The day we tour the facility and elderly man fell right in the lobby area of the place it took these folks about 10-15 minutes to have staff attend to him. The rooms are a patch work of DYI gone wrong. Yes it is cheap, but get what you pay for I guess. For a place that is strickly for the elderly the passaways are at times not wide enough to handle two residents with walkers going in opposite directions. Unless you absolutely can not afford anything else I would not recommend you to go to this place.
