It has been a pretty good experience so far for my father at this community. It is a nice looking community, for the most part they keep everything nice and clean. The staff is well. they are under staffed at times. They are taking good care of him and his needs. There nice activities offered. The food is decent, they serve well balanced meals. Overall everything is working out well and I would recommend it.

My mom has been in the memory care unit about two weeks so I don't have a lengthy perspective. She is adjusting and everyone has been very kind. It is good to know that she is safe.

The facility is a nice place, we're happy with it. My mother is eating properly and hasn't complained about the food, she has a good appetite. It's a clean community. She can only participate in activities that don't involve vision, but they do keep the residents busy. They have a singer and guitar player come in, they do crafts, they have sing-a-longs.

Overall our experience with Atria Stratford has been a good one. This is our first experience with a senior community, and it took a bit for my loved one to get used to things, but I've been pleasantly surprised by Atria. The staff is friendly and professional, and the facility itself is clean and well kept.

My mother loves it. She talks about it all the time. Every time we go and visit she is always in a good mood and we know she truly loves it.

Everybody there is overly happy! It's almost weird how friendly they are. Everybody is very welcoming and very much wanting to help. I love it there. The only complaint is that once you get in there, they have additional stuff they try to sell you on. In the words of my husband they "suck you dry".

This has been a wonderful home for our Mom. Such a friendly place. She is extremely happy here.

It was extremely clean, and the dining room was lovely and the food was good. They take day trips and things, they are a great place, but if your loved one needs a lot of care, there may be a lot more expense involved. I had to have an aide there 24 hours a day. Their transportation was very good there. They had OT and PT come in. They were very expensive, and he needed more care than what we had thought initially, and what they assessed him as needing. They were good about working with us on the move in price. All in all it's a good place, but there are certain things they are not equipped to handle, like a catheter.

I visited informally awhile ago and thought it was a nice facility, but did not follow up with any in-depth contact.

I think it depends on the level of care that your loved one needs, and acknowledging that prior to being a resident of the facility is very important. It has taken a lot of work to get the quality of care I expected for my loved one.

The community is very neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the community is a good value for the money. I think their assessment could have been more thorough and transparent.

It's not cheap and they charge anytime food is brought to the room. I would recommend my mother in law loves it there

There is a LOT of turnover in the staff and management. They have had 3 directors in one year and same for head of nursing. With this much turnover, things that should be done tend to fall through the cracks. They have a hard time keeping care staff and seem to be short staffed frequently.

Really nice room. Activities are not that great

Pricing is a-la-carte and maybe that's standard, but it wasn't explained up front. I would still recommend, but something to learn and watch out for. We picked them because of the location.

At the time the nursing staff was short handed and communication lacked. Kitchen staff was not friendly. I would only recommend Spring Village at Danbury for someone who can advocate for themselves.

A nice place for my grandmother to be a part of. She enjoys the environment and the care she receives. Her only complaint is the food, and occasionally the cleaning of her room could be improved. Overall, we’re satisfied with the support and services provided.

[name removed] was amazing. She connected me to several facilities. She also helped me get information about a VA benefit. The facility sounded great . I moved my mom and everyone was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately they are under staffed and have difficulty meeting my mom's needs. The cleanliness is average, the food is ok. The staff are working hard and very friendly.

I was not impressed with our respite stay here at Spring Village at Stratford. If I had to do it over again, we would probably not go back.

On the whole, it is a decent, clean facility. There is a problem at times in getting help to use the facilities. The food choices need to be better. Menu looks like a school menu. Not very appetizing.
