Every staff member is very considerate of the residents and visitors. A wonderful relief to know my mom is receiving the best care 24/7. Communication between staff and relatives is excellent.

My mom recently stayed at Atria of Stratford while my husband and i went on a Mediterranean cruise. Everyone there was most accomodating and pleasant, and I was able to enjoy the trip worry free because I knew that I had left her in a caring environment. As the time of the trip approached, the room that had been promised to her was not available, so Diane most graciously allowed her to stay in the model apartment.

I think my folks are doing wonderfully there. They would never tell you that but they are thriving much better than I even thought they would. It's a beautiful place. They're excellent caregivers and are very in tune with the residents. They cater to their needs on the spot. It's really a great place and it is very homey which I like a lot. So far has been a very good experience and I actually have referred other people to go and check the place out that are in the same kind of situation as I am. It's lovely. You walk in and you feel like you're part of the family. That's what it is: one great big family. It's hard to do that with your loved one but I would recommend it to anyone. My folks have not had one bad thing to say about anything.

My sincere thanks to the staff at Atria for their assistance with my Mom. She came around and enjoyed being free of life's stresses. At home, she was losing her independence and now she is thriving with all the activities and fine dining. The staff's genuine concern for my Mom means so much to us.

My father is very independent and resisted leaving his home, he has been at Atria for over a 1 year and he wished he moved in sooner.

The staff at Atria Stratford is doing a wonderful job caring for my mom with the kindness and warmth that someone of her age and pride needs. I have experienced something at Atria Stratford that is special. Everyone knows what a difficult road this has been for my mother because of the tragic loss of my fabulous sister. She has needed the kind care and concern that each and every one who comes in contact with her gives to her.

We chose Springs Village at Danbury because there are only 48 apartments so I feel that the residents get more personalized attention since there are less people living there. There is more one on one care and the communication from the staff has been great. I am usually able to speak to someone right away whenever I call up there which is not the case at most larger facilities. I would recommend Spring Village to other families.

Spring Village is off to a great start, as a new "home" on the secure memory care floor there for my early-Alzheimer sister. Beautiful facility, with a wonderful, caring staff. Life can be difficult; but help is available.

It is a good community to live in. My mom is getting good care and gets help and accommodations to get adjusted into her new lifestyle. There are activities she likes, especially the visiting dog. My mom is eating very good. She asks for seconds and has even gained weight!

One thing that I would like to see changed is that if the resident decides to go out for a meal, that should be deducted from their meal service. They also could improve a little on communication. Some information can be hard to find and it can be hard to get answers to questions sometimes. Overall though my sister enjoys it and is doing well there. It is still a work in progress.

Overall a 4. Staff is friendly, compassionate, and very accommodating. Not sure about activities as my brother wasn't able to physically participate. Sometimes I would have to mention that he was in need of a hair wash, but mostly he was well taken care of. I was unhappy with the some of the staff from hospice care. Not enough time was devoted to his end of life care, and helping our family to process. That was not the facilities fault. My brother passed alone, but once discovered, he was treated with respect and care by his regular nursing providers. They in turn notified me, and were available for my family in any way we needed.

The few times I have been there I always found it to be clean. My brother in law always looks like he was showered. The food is great. The staff is always friendly. They held a holiday party with lots of food and live entertainment. It was very nice. No place is like home but I would say it's pretty close to it ..

The staff takes great care of my dad and they are very kind and caring.

They were so helpful in getting our family member settled into the facility. She was very confused, but they put her at ease. We have seen a remarkable improvement in her every day contentment. I think my only suggestion would be a little more communication when there have been any changes or events.

I visited a family friend over the holidays and was extremely pleased. The staff are very friendly and the place felt welcoming. The friend I visited had nothing but good things to say about this place. I wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my days here.

This is an overall warm environment for the residents. The staff are very friendly and sincerely care. We have a family member who is a current resident; she is always happy and eager to introduce me to the staff and their role.

Friendly, always keeps family up to date on any med/condition changes. Based off of what my father tells me, they could serve less casseroles.

I would recommend it. They have a great activities director that keeps the residents busy most days. It's expensive.

Spring Village was working very hard at the time of my loved one's residency to resolve many management/staffing changes. During my brother's last days the care staff and nsg director were so attentive and kind -supporting him and all of us in the best way they could.

My mom is happy there. The staff is friendly. I would recommend Spring Village at Stratford to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.
