I would like to personally thank the entire staff for the efficient and loving care my Father received when living at The Gardens for the past five years. He would constantly tell me what a great place it was to live. It was truly his home and you were all a part of his extended family. I can think of no better place for him to have spent his golden years than at The Gardens.

Words can not express what you have meant to us over the last several years, We love you all dearly.

I can't put into words what you all mean to the [removed] family. However I just wanted to thank you for taking care of him the last 6 plus years. The entire family is better for having met each and everyone of you. Thank you for the beautiful sympathy card. You are the best!

Thank you so very much for making my Mom's transition so wonderful. It is lovely to have her close and to be cared for by such a great cast and crew! We really appreciate all you have done to help make he happy in her new home.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful and caring staff at the Gardens who provided for [Mother] over the last three years. After visiting other Assisted Living facilities, we chose the Gardens; we are so glad we did. The entire staff really cares about the residents. You enjoy them, they are your friends, you look out for them and treat them as you would your own family. It is really hard to express the appreciation we feel in just words. We know you loved out Mother and she loved you. What the staff does is a real gift for all of those who have the benefit of living at the Gardens. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

I remember liking The Gardens when [removed] and I started looking for Daddy. I was impressed, but when we brought Daddy for his visit, I was sold. Daddy also always loved your musical entertainment; Music was a big part of his life. I could go on and on with compliments about how the last two years of his life were made better because he lived with you. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing nurses. It takes a special skill to run a facility like The Gardens. I don't know how you keep everything so organized while maintaining the warm, homey atmosphere. However you do it, you should keep it up. Thank you!

My parents were recently moved into Atria by me. My father had been neglecting his own health in caring for my mother at home. Mom is currently in the Memory Care area and Daddy is in the assisted living area. As his health improves we hope to put them back together. I needed to find them a place fast. Atria was in their town. My contact there [Removed] was wonderful, we coordinated a lot over emails and phone calls from my home in Florida. When I finally got to Stratford it was to see a beautiful, clean, friendly atmosphere that would be perfect for my parents. I brought Daddy over the next day to see the place, and he liked it. Right now when I talk to him on the phone he seems happy, he loves the food and he likes being able to decide for himself how social he wants to be. The care services are great, they notify me of any appointments they have and work really well with the private nursing service we use to get them around. All in all, Atria was the right choice for my family.

I have no complaints about the quality of care that my wife has been receiving from this community. She has said nothing negative about the food and has enjoyed participating in many of the activities they have to offer throughout the day. Overall I am pleased with Atria and would recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and toured in August. We planned on moving my mom in come September but God had other plans for her. Courtney was a pleasure to work with.

My mother is having the time of her life there. My family was worried that she would be homesick but that's not the case at all. We were visiting the other day and she told us to leave because she had to go to BINGO!

My family really love this place. My loved one has transitioned nicely and the staff is wonderful and helpful. Everything has gone good and we couldn't ask for a better place.

Staff is friendly, thoughtful, experienced, and engaging. I've been there three times in two weeks and have always found Spring Village clean and orderly. Meals are on the plus side of any rating system you might use. The activities calendar seems to be quite full and varied.

The staff at Spring Village have been extremely helpful and available to assist us at any time. Courtney was especially supportive of us as we made the move for our mom. She was always accommodating of our hectic schedules. The direct care staff immediately made mom "one of the family". Mom seems happier and more active than she has in years. The activities are varied and allow us to participate with mom.

I liked my tour and the community seemed okay. They had activities going on. The residents seemed to enjoy the activity. They gave me the necessary information about the place. My mom thought it was a big community and not the feeling of a home.

Facility of 100 apartments is BEAUTIFUL. Staff caring, friendly with long work histories there. Lunch was delicious. My mom wanted her drinking water warmed (no ice) which they did. Lots of activities on & off site. 17-year-old facility is getting interior fresh paint, new rugs, new furniture in common areas, soon to be completed. 15% Discount to families with any family member connected to Sikorsky. A resident there named Sarah joined us for lunch with her personal experience there. Lovely lady who LOVES it at Atria.

Great place. Everyone is so friendly. Toured different places and Atria was by far the best. I know my mom is getting the best care she could get

This community is always clean and provide daily cleaning to my mom's room also with a weekly thorough cleaning. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, attentive, accommodating and hands on within the community. My mom eats her food and thinks it's very good. Mom also goes on scenic drives and listens to musical concerts and other great activities. Everything has been great and I absolutely would recommend this place.

My mother in law really likes this community, she seems to have adjusted well to it. They keep the community very clean. The staff has been wonderful to work with, they are caring for her very well. She is trying some activities, she really enjoys bingo. She really likes the food, she worries that she is gaining weight. The director was amazing to work with, she was very helpful. Our experiences have been great. I would recommend it.

When mom moved in and we signed the papers they were very truthful about the community. The entire staff has been excellent and are very accommodating with us and my mom. My mom raves about the food. She participates in an exercise class and has taken advantage of the beauty shop that is downstairs. The community itself is very well maintained and I have no complaints whatsoever. I would recommend Atria Stratford to family and friends. I was also happy with my representative with A Place for Mom.

Our experience with this community has been good thus far. My brother seems to be adjusting well with the move. It is a nice looking community and is well maintained. My brother is a little more high functioning than most of the residents there, and does not tolerate disrespect. He feels that some of the CNA's are a little insensitive to him and the other residents. I do feel that some of the staff could use some sensitivity training. On the other hand, My brother does enjoy the food and says that it tastes good, which is a plus for him. I would recommend this agency to other families, but I would just make sure you are financially secure because this community is on the expensive side.
