Liked this place very much. They are doing upgrades, such as painting and carpets that will really spruce it up. A definite possibility.

Can't say enough about the caring executive director and the staff. Changes happening daily to enhance services and care for those living there. Very home like environment with plenty of activities and interaction with other residents. Offsite activities could be more varied, there is so much more to our area than drugstores, supermarkets or eateries? Our museums?, Market Square? The Public Library? Church Activities? Just a few suggestions for those more active and capable to understand that living in a community like Deane Hill.

Beautiful place. Rooms are a good size. Staff was very friendly. Liked that the price was all inclusive. No add ons for different services. Has additional storage on site that can purchased for nominal fee. Disappointed by out side space. No real courtyard or outside sitting area.

The days fly by with all the activities, health groups, entertainment, trips outside by bus, etc. The food is very good and a good selection to suit every person ... ...

The facility is very clean. The staff was friendly and the environment could be described as being comfy. Renovated from a former school, one would have a hard time realizing that it was a former school except for the stage that remains from the school which they use for presentations for the residents (very cool). The only reason I give Greenfield a 4-star is because of the steps required of independent living residents and the dim lighting in the staircases. Mom loved the feel of the facility and it ranks high on our list for when she is ready to make a move. Mom grew up in a country setting; the facility is set in an older established neighborhood which is what mom is looking for.

Overall, I feel our experience at Deane Hill Place has been good, but there are some things I feel need improvement. Their line of sight as far as the needs of the residents needs does not quite fit. Everyone has different needs, and they sort of use a one-size-fits-all idea. They also have a community fee, which is quite excessive. We were not told about this fee in the beginning. Their website, while beautiful, gives the idea that what you see is what you get. However, it does not say that the rooms come unfurnished. We had to supply our own. Overall though, the community is immaculate with no smell, the residents are well groomed, the food is very good, and the staff is helpful, despite the large turnover rate.

The Villa at Riverwood is a lovely center. Many of the staff members have been there for 10+ years. The apartments are affordable. However they are small and do not have access to outside except through the lobby. For certain residents this is good because the staff sees each and everyone coming in and out. I worry about the escape route for my grandfather if ever a fire. This location is dog friendly for 30lbs and less. My grandfather adores this community.

This assisted living community was wonderful and the director did a really great job showing me around, she took her time, answered my questions and we had lunch together there. The rooms were very nice, the community was clean and spacious, and if my mom could have lived in an assisted living environment this community would have been my first choice for her. But she did need a memory care setting. I would definitely recommend coming for a tour at this community.

My father is doing well with his move into this community. They are doing a good job caring for him. I'am pleased with all they have done my family. Everything is working out great for us with my father move to this community.

The tour we took at Heritage Oaks was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and answered the questions that we had. It is a large community and we were looking for a smaller community for my mom.

My sister had stayed here previously at Fox Trail Senior Living at Front Royal and the staff was friendly and caring. We thought we were going to have mom come here but they did not return our call when we were in the process and ended up choosing another community for our current needs.

For the most part I was pleased with my mothers respite stay here in this community. It is a nice community with kind people. I did have to hire an aid to come, and help her with extra care. This is more of an assisted living community, and she needed more care than they were able to provide. However this is a beautiful community. They provide nice meals, and plenty of activities for the residents. It is a community I would recommend to my family, and friends.

Unfortunately my father shortly after moving into this community, but my mother is still here in this facility. My mother is currently living in the assisted living portion of the community. She is safe, and they are taking good care of her. I will the memory care portion of the community could use some improvement. The community is really nice overall, but I would only recommend the assisted living portion.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one since she has made the move into this community. The staff are great people and I am comfortable with the care they are providing her. I am pleased to see my mother eating well and participating in a few of the different activities they have available. I would recommend it to anyone interested.

My husband is doing well with his move to this community. I'am pleased with all they have done for us.

Extremely friendly! But rather dark :( It looks and feels like an "old folks home" Their services are extensive and the pricing is competitive.

It is still a bit of an adjustment process for my husband with his move to this community. He has his bad days, and his good days. However I will say the staff is doing a good job taking care of him, and his needs. It's not home, but I know he is safe, and in good hands overall. They recently changed ownership of the community.So there is still some growing pains. They have a great new activities director. The meals are nice. I know he is receiving good care at this community, and I would recommend it.

One of the places that I toured was Deane Hill Place. The tour guide took me around the kitchen area, hallways, in common areas and everything seemed pretty clean. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, but it was not what we were looking for.

My mother is doing very well since her move to this community. Everything is working our very well, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. This is a good community, and it is working out well for my family.
