The LPNs and RNs are fabulous. The staff are attentive and friendly to the residents and their families. It's great place for meeting the residents social and emotional needs as well. We chose this community for the price (biggest bang for the buck), they were punctual with the tour and respectful of my time, and it felt homey. In the time that my loved one has lived there, there has been one medical event that while avoidable, the outcome was handled appropriately by the direct caregivers. They are retraining all of the staff in best practices to avoid future incidents. It light of the current times with COVID, they have done great with communicating to the families. I receive text message updates all of the time and I can call there anytime as well.

We had a few issues with the Wellness director. The other staff and aides were outstanding and very attentive to my mom. My mom was in the dementia wing and when they quarantined for the virus they closed that wing off from the rest of the building which really limited the space that those residents had access to. It cut them off from most of the common areas and the walking areas that they used daily. The temperature was not well regulated at all, my mom's room and the whole wing was always very hot.

As we all know, we are living in extraordinary times, so, although this community has it, we can't use or participate in all of the lovely accommodations here because of COVID. So, that is something I will look forward to. I had three priorities I was looking for when looking at communities to live. First, i want my own outdoor space, second, I wanted a full kitchen, and third, I wanted a second bedroom for guests. I have all of these in my villa here. My villa is very nice and bright and it has fulfilled what I was looking for. Also, I chose this community because it looked clean and wasn't as expensive as others that i saw or read about. I also want to share that the maintenance men has been wonderful. They come over right away.

Nice facility, but very small rooms.

Very nice and clean facility for assisted living. Close to Olathe Medical. New independent living building has not been started yet. Concern about highway and ambulance noise for the new structure and lack of a view.

I liked everything . 2 bedroom were perfect facility was clean and looked modern.

35 year old facility, most staff there 20 years even in the kitchen. Chef been there 10 years and meets with each resident to ensure they get their favorite food. All food made from scratch even the rolls. studio 1 br without bath, apt with bath, or suite with adjoining living room would be best for mom and sally. garden apartment faces courtyard,of which there are 4. pet friendly. Very individualized attention. 4 members of staff visit each resident daily, mail, meds, garbage, bed making. They make the beds daily because it acts as an unintrusive incontinence check. Staff wears color coded t shirts. Red for care team, blue for housekeeping, black for kitchen. 95 residents. Laundry, meds, bedding done with no extra cost.3 meals per day served in 2 hour increments make it very flexible. Residents must eat twice a day. No assigned seating in dining room. DR going to be remodeled this year,.Small activity room. No showers inside rooms. All done with supervision in shower rooms. Puzzle table in living room for [name removed], plus she could be on the decorating committee. Snacks available in big frig in dining room. Yogurt, desserts, even ice cream. RN on staff works 7 to 7 daily unless more is needed.Head of maintenance a fire fighter and obsessed with fire drills. Last one had all residents out in 8 min. Deposit is one month rent. Bus trips to shopping on Mondays.Has specific 30 day orientation program designed for each resident that comes in to make sure they have the best chance to like it there.

This facility was very nice. Clean and very friendly people. I find that the resident rooms are a bit small. I enjoyed meeting with [name removed] and will keep Atria as an option for my dad.

So far we are very pleased with Fox Trail Senior Living Memory Care. The employees are very friendly and seem to care about the quality of care they provide to the residents. The facility is clean and doesn’t have a Nursing home odor. They offer activities to the residents that are able to participate.

Friendly residents, nice staff. I found out that the Atria wasn't the best choice for my parents but I was given the same respect a d j to that a NY potential family would have gotten. [Name removed] made sure that she helped me as much as she could with additional contacts that would help my family.

We had a wonderful guide her name was [name removed], Heritage Oaks is a lovely place.We saw three size apartments all good size.We left with a better understanding of what could be do. Thank.You

The community is really nice and the staff seem very friendly and attentive. My Mom loved the "homey" feel with only 18-20 people in each building and each building has it's own kitchen and dining room. However, it is too expensive for our budget.

Staff has been friendly. The variety of food could be a little better. The facility is clean. My mom seems to be having a good experience at Atria.

Facility is amazing but difficult for food allergies and finance department is disorganized.

It has been a very good journey to this point. They do seem to need added help since there is only one nurse for the entire cottage. In daddy’s case it is not an issue since he doesn’t need a lot of care. Just an observation. The people that are there are extremely caring and loving toward the residents.

Dad’s dementia had developed to a stage that his current residence was not suitable, nor were any others in our town. “He only deserves the best,” was our opinion! Because my daughter has a career in Senior/TBI Speech Therapy in the KC area, she was familiar with several Senior residences that ‘could work’ but she suggested trying TRAVANSE first. We did, and we’ve never looked back. My father was surrounded by ‘family ‘ immediately. They loved him, and treated him with the dignity and respect he deserved. It’s a difficult disease, but they’re obviously trained in dealing with patients who often need redirected, repeating, and reminding! They’re fun, patient and a true blessing to those they encounter!

We were pleasantly impressed by this facility. It was small and felt intimate, and very clean. Our guide took the time to show us around, and was more than happy to address any concerns and questions we had. We even took a brief detour while she happily assisted one of the residents. Overall, seems like a very nice place, but I don't think Mom would be happy with the level of structure at this time.

This one was very nice. Helpful staff. Very clean. Seemed like a small facility. I am planning a another tour with my mother in-law next week. She seems interested.

People are very caring & helpful. We like the small buildings which makes getting to know everyone helpful. Mom's care had been great and they treat her like family.
