It seems to be going well, off-hand I haven't had any issues, they're taking care of everything. The transition seems to be pretty good, with the disease I'm not too sure what she thinks, everytime I go to see her she asks when she's going home. I know they do activities but I'm not so sure if they do memory loss ones. It's pretty nice for an older place and I'ts in pretty decent shape from what I've seen. I liked that it was one floor and it was smaller so it seemed like she would get more personal attention.

While my dad wanted to remain at home, it became clear that he needed assistance and someone "on call" to help at any hour of the day. Greenfield fit the bill. I found the staff helpful, qualified, caring, and engaging. While my dad's health declined to the point where assisted living was no longer the sufficient, Greenfield played a critical role in the life of my dad and family.

They were very good, very responsive, I don't think the rooms were as nice and for her to get in here she would have had to share a room. I didn't really like the surroundings but they food and the people were very nice, but they were much more need than where she is now and aesthitically it wasn't as pleasing.

It's adult senior living but she got to the point where she needed more monitoring. She liked it there, everybody gets accustomed to their surroundings especially with dementia so we didn't want to move her but she needed more care. The people were very nice there and very pleasant, but they don't have staff to do medications and they weren't really in tune with their needs. They did do a lot of activities but I don't think they took care of situations and they would let things just fester, they just let the troops go amuck.

This place had smaller apartments and was more expensive than other facilities I had seen. When I called they suggested they offered independent living options, but they only really offer assisted living. Assisted living requires more care services which is why Atria Penfield is more expensive than the independent care facilities I was comparing them to. If you are looking for independent living, this is not the place to go.
