My mother shared a room. She had half of the 16 by 12 room. It was a little small. Cleanliness was good overall. The floor in my mom's room was sticky most of the time. Most staff were friendly and happy. My biggest complaint was the staffs inability to put my mom's hearing aids in correctly. After being there 5 weeks and showing multiple staff members how to put in her hearing aids, most times they were in wrong. It is considered assisted living, but I would call it independent living. Activities were good for anyone who did not have sight or hearing problems. My mom could not see well and could not participate in many activities.

I considered this my forever home

The staff in my mom's villa are great. The just hired an activity director, and she is bringing in outside activities like Tia Chi and live entertainment for happy hour. My mom has a very spacious room that includes a refrigerator and a microwave and is cleaned once a week. She is settling in nicely.

Staff is great, rooms are kept very clean, room looked small at first but all his furniture fit and looks nice. Nice food choices everyday. They have activities everyday.

Mom has been a resident since [date removed] of last year. The staff is incredible in every department! Both [name removed] and [name removed] are always smiling and helpful. They are a true asset to your company! Mom has noticed the kitchen staff is short this summer. She knows one of her favorite waitresses is out for surgery/recovery. The facility is impeccable and always seasonally decorated. One winter concern are the metal steps outside that get super slippery. They should have been made out of a safer material as they have a tendency to "flash" freeze. I find this as a potential liability to be concerned about. The room size is just right and the girls keep it clean and fresh. Because it's summer the residents are able to get outside and enjoy the porch. The location of the property is perfect as the scene outside is constantly changing due to the Littleton River Walk. In my opinion, Riverglen's greatest asset is their help. Make sure you do everything to keep them!

The majority of the staff is wonderful. My dad has had some problems with aides assisting him mostly on the weekend, even though he pays for the level of care that includes Assistance with many of his daily needs. He enjoys the food and the choices that are available to him. His room is kept pretty clean as they do this on a weekly basis. I believe he has the smallest room and there is more than enough room for everything he needs. He doesn't partake in some of the activities since he has hearing issues. But he does go to what's available just to be friendly many times. The only reason I gave this four is because of the issue with the Assistance from aides. Otherwise, I'm very happy my dad is there.

We like the private room and size of room. I do notice in some areas the smell of urine is getting bad. They also do not have a full time person doing laundry at the moment and so many articles of clothing have been lost or stolen when out to get cleaned and have not found them yet in over 4 weeks. My MIL lost 4 pairs of capris and 2 pairs of regular pants. That is not acceptable. We wish there was a vanity in the bathroom. Currently it is a pedestal sink and you can't put anything on it.

I know that my sister who is a resident there is not very pleased with the quality of the lunch and dinner food choices and the quality of the food. Also, she said the laundry service is not consistent. My other sister has been washing my sister's clothes on occasions. Also, my sister says she thinks there is not enough caregivers on staff because she has to wait too long for a response when requesting service. She is wheel chair bound and dependent on others for assisting with ADL service. I have had meals with her on occasions and food has been okay but she has to eat there every day. I find the staff overall to be friendly and helpful. We have hosted a Birthday party and a luncheon there for my sister. The staff did everything they could to make the events comfortable and special for my sister and her guest. I find it to be a friendly family like community.

My mom likes it there. She likes the food. She likes the staff and says they are friendly. She likes the other residents. Said everyone says hi and seems to know her. She enjoys the Bingo activities

Staff is very nice. Room is perfect size. A few maintenance issues we're working on resolving. Plenty of activities during the day. Food has been good. Nothing special. Some nights offerings are better than others

I like a few things. One is the price for doing your laundry is included in the rent. They have a bus that on certain days go to different places. Like doctors appointments, and shopping. The staff are very nice and helpful .

The staff are friendly, the apartments are nice, the food is good most meals. The only negative is rugs look old, and they did clean them, the outside needs some Maintenance, and the outside tables need repair or replaced.

My mom has been a resident at Fields of Florissant for the past four months. I've been there several times to visit my mom. Everyone there that are also residents, from my observations, all seem to be in good hands, with their care. There is no drama, and the people are nice that work there. It's clean, and it's the safest place that my mom can be.

What we really like about the community is that they seem to treat residents like family. Yes, we would recommend Manor Hills to other families based on the experience so far.

Very nice facility, people are very professional in their handling of the residents. The food service is very good. Noone looks like the in the need nourishment.

We moved my best friend from another senior living space. This place feels like home in her apartment. She enjoys going to dinner daily. She says the food is amazing. Also she participates in a lot of the activities (which she never did in the other place). Her not stressing over the monthly cost is a godsend too. This place is so worth the cost.

The staff are very nice, facility is clean and meals are very good. Move in process was efficient. Only negative since the move in was the elevator was down for more than a week right after moving in, the repair seemed pretty slow.

I would probably give them a solid 4, just based off of I'm not there everyday to see the whole spectrum of what goes on there. When I go in there the staff.. nurses, assistants and whoever else is there are very friendly and always give us updates. My mom used to get a call I think every week with an update but she hasn't gotten any in a while, just from me. The other thing I don't get and haven't had a chance to ask was when my dad has been taken to the hospital for a few falls, I don't know why the ambulance company isn't provided with his insurance companies. And I would think the ambulance would give that to the hospital also. It causes more headache for my mother to have to deal with the billing.

As a whole.. everyone at Willow Ridge is very accommodating and attentive. For anyone who's never had to find a safe place for a senior relative before .. it's traumatic for everyone.. especially the new resident .. each experience is different.. ours involved our 90 yr old, highly independent until this last year.. mom who fought the whole process kicking and screaming.. figuratively. Dementia is playing a big factor and declining cognitive strengths that none of us were prepared to understand and deal with. We're learning as we go. In the meantime.. moms safe, fed and warm every day. We all sleep a little better. Having her back in her own home of over 50 yrs is just not an option. Paying someone to be w her 24/7 there is not financially possible... the Village was the next best thing although an hour away from most of us .. we're doing our best to make it work. Our mom tends to be naturally negative.. always an issue.. and one that won't change. The staff seems to have the ability to roll with it

We are having issues getting parts to have her air conditioning unit fully functional and the food is not great. I would recommend Fields of Florissant to others.
