Yes definitely would recommend. We feel blessed that we found a facility that my mom is content in especially since she has such bad memory issues. Memory care is unique and the size of the facility is a perfect combination for the staff to have the knowledge to understand the needs. It was memory care only and only had 20 residents at the time. I like that it is a smaller group and the nurses and staff really get to know the patients

Manor House was just going thru some major changes in staff when my mom moved in to their independent living facility. With all that change, my mom was still able to move within two weeks of her application date. There have been quite a lot of "hiccups" along the way, but nothing too serious. I feel by the time the new employees get acquainted with their new positions, this place will be even greater. My mom has said, repeatedly, "I love this place". I would recommend this place with 5 stars, but there were a lot of "hiccups" along the way due to new staff hires.

The staff is wonderful and kind and very helpful. What I find lacking is that with my sister in particular, she is a type two diabetic and uses a CPAP machine. The staff is not testing her sugar levels daily nor are they making sure she uses her CPAP machine and has the distilled water that she needs. These are vital things for my sister's continued health.

All the staff has been fantastic helping my parents transition from their own home into assisted living. The staff helps dispense medication and makes their bed daily. The laundry is done weekly, but needs help with keeping residents clothes from getting mixed up and lost, however I would highly recommend the Village at Penfield.

I have been here for 13 months and things have improved since Senior Lifestyles took over managing this property. The new program director has made many improvements on activities offered for the residents to choose from on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The new dining director has been working on improvements to the dining experience. There has been improvements on proper staffing which was lacking when I first moved in. The location of this property is very good with a golf course close by and easy travel to Eastview Mall and other stores.
