Both my Mom & Dad have been in the Memory Care Unit at Crimson Ridge since July, 2016. We are very pleased the the care they are receiving. We have switched them to the doctors on staff and have been pleased with the level of care received from them. The staff is pleasant and always available to answer questions and to keep me up-to-date with how things are going for both Mom and Dad. [removed] are extremely professional and always available either by phone or email. The environment is lovely, The double room my parents are in is large, bright and cheery. The staff keeps the room clean and inviting. They are both happy with the meals and snacks. I have attended a number of the family events the staff have organized and they do a wonderful job. Given the circumstances that bring these residents to this facility, I feel that they are all well taken care of and looked after.

I highly recommend this Brookdale because they have been nothing but wonderful. I wish I was old enough to live there already. The landscaping is beautiful and the staff is over the top. Everyone is great there from the maintenance man to the staff in the kitchen. You can really tell when someone likes their job and let me tell you these people are in the right job! The Brookdale will really work with you if needed, I am very pleased with everything.

From my first tour of this community I knew it was the one for my parents, and their needs. They are doing great since their move to this community. They are happy, and have adjusted well to it. I like the staff. They know everybody names, and is very connected to the residents. They serve nice meals, they are pleased with the meals for the most part. They do a great job keeping everything clean, and well maintained. This community has worked out well for my family, and I would recommend it.

Very nice facility, staff all very friendly. Location a little outside of where we'd like to be however, not out of the possibilities. Thank you for the pumpkin cheesecakse - awesome!

My Mom is very happy at Atria in Penfield. She stayed at another assisted living and was not pleased and depressed. Since moving her to Atria she looks and feels great. She loves the food, the way it's prepared and the people preparing it. Having cooked every meal her whole life from scratch, the food is the most important and she is very happy. She loves the friendly staff, all the residents, the cleanliness, the activities and the great attitudes of everyone.

My dad and uncle are very happy at Atria South Setauket. They share a spacious but moderately priced room. The food is exceprional, the activities varied and fun, the staff attentuve and friendly.

The whole community is great. I love the staff and how attentive they are to the residents and how they really care. The place is so bright and upbeat and lively. The food is great and mom is starting to get involved with some things. We really could not have asked for anything better.

My loved one is doing very well since her move to this community. The place is clean and well maintained. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful if she needs anything. The meals they provide are great. We are very happy so far.

My husband stayed at Crimson Ridge when I was desperate, and my family could not be more grateful. They took the time to learn about him, make him smile, and helped me get through this challenging time that I was going through alone. I enjoyed the community and so did my husband's many visitors throughout his stay.

My father is doing well since his move to this community. Everything is working out very well, and I'am satisfied. The community looks great, they do a good job keeping the community well maintained. The staff is great, they are taking good care of him. I'am comfortable with his move to this community. I know he is safe and in a good place. This is a community I would recommend.

Dad resisted the thought of living in assisted living but after falling several times and a three month stay in a skilled nursing facility had no choice. I toured other homes and Greenfield Sr Living was first choice. Price was comparable to other homes and they do not have a "buy in" that literally would use all of any assests Dad had. It was and is one of the cleanest facilities I toured. They are friendly, caring, and considerate of other family members. Well balanced meals and plenty of activities that include trips to local restaurants. For as reluctent as I was to place Dad, i couldn't have choose a better home away from home.

After I read all the reviews on here I have to add my input! Yes, Atria is worth it! Food is fantastic and the building always clean. Some of the rooms are older but kept nice and we got a good deal on the room so I can't complain. Wish they had more rooms to choose from but a good place stays full. My aunt Jean is happy and she gained ten pounds from all the good food and love!

Everyone is very helpful and caring.

My grandma is living at Atria Greece and has been for about four months. Before moving to Atria, grandma was not eating, sitting in a chair all day and had no desire to live. I cannot believe how she is today, happy, active and looking forward to her next day at Atria. These folks are truly magical in how they care and love senior citizens who live there. Thank you to Jean and the rest of the Atria team. You truly are a blessing to me and my family.

My mother is very happy here at this community, and I'am very pleased with everything they have done for us. This is truly an outstanding community. Everybody is lovely. We made a good choice with picking this community. They have a great chef, and he cooks amazing meals. They have really provided me with a peace of mind, I know she is safe and in good hands. I have no complaints, everything has worked out great.

My mom is a new resident at Atria and simply loving the community! The building is small and easy to get around and the food delicious! Kudos to Dave the chef for his great cooking. We are happy with the care and the manager Tina is fantastic! Would strongly recommend!

My father in law was here for a respite stay. It was good experience. He enjoyed his time during his respite stay. At the moment he is on the wait list for a smaller room. We knew he was safe and in good hands. We were satisfied with all they did for us. This is a community I would recommend, it is a nice place.

My brother is doing very well here, they are taking good care of him and his needs. The community is very well maintained, everything is nice and clean. The staff is great, they are very friendly and caring. There are nice activities offered. The food is very good, they serve lovely meals. I know he is being cared for well and I would recommend this community.

My mother has been in the memory care unit at Greenfield for 2 months now. It was a very emotional and difficult transition, probably more for me than for her, but for both of us the staff here has been wonderful. Michelle [Removed] held my hand and through the shock and heartbreak of this next step in care, and if not for her and the kind, sweet people that work here I would have lost my mind. She encouraged me to hang in and give it 30 days for both of us to adjust, and I truly saw a turning point on day 30. Weeks 4-6 were still tough but I could see the light, and now I think we are both finally feeling comfortable. For my mom with dementia it's been very confusing for her to understand her new surroundings, and for me it was just so overwhelming to see her in this environment. The staff here really understood our different needs for getting through this. For my mom she needed them to make her feel welcome and confident in her new home, she needed encouragement to participate and feel needed/important, and she needed understanding that some dementia patients like her in a shared environment have a very hard time understanding that other patients belongings and rooms aren't hers. For me I needed updates, calls, and texts with pictures of her doing things so I could see that she was adjusting and doing ok without me there. I also needed a lot of smiles and encouragement when I visited as well. Greenfield delivered all of this and more. My favorite part of Greenfield is the staff, there isn't one person from maintenance to management that doesn't have a warm heart and a smile for you, but it's also a bright, sunny, place with lots of windows, the food is great, and there are lots of activities and entertainers.
