The Villa at Westhampton is a wonderful new home for my mom who had to move from her own cherished house built by my father nearly sixty years ago. It was an emotional move for her and my sister, but my mother needed to be in assisted living since she was losing her ability to live alone. She adjusted beautifully because of the lovely and professionally built environment, the kind and caring staff at every level, the programs and activities, and best of all we know that she has a network of people who will be there if she needs anything. The Villa is truly a caring community. Highly recommend it to a loved one.

I loved Legacy at Erie Station! Really nice apartments and wonderful amenities. Only drawback for me is there isn't Memory Care transition on-site, but they did say they assist you in placing your loved one somewhere should they come to need it.

Our experience with the Atria was overwhelmingly positive. Mom ended up staying only a couple of months before going to hospice, but the staff and residents were all very friendly, considerate and helpful. We did not realize she would decline so rapidly and were seriously sorry that her stay was as short as it was. We had been looking forward to mom participating in many of the activities, and were especially looking forward to having her love of food and cooking become a part of the activities. Truly, they went out of their way to incorporate and encourage her. I would recommend it highly!

My wife and I searched the web for a continuing care, or close to that, throughout NY state. In addition we checked out such facilities in Maryland and PA. After four years of careful searching, we found Legacy at Fairways, here in Victor. Our first impression was of the warmth and caring of the manager/sales person, [name removed]. We then compared these facilities with all the ones we had read about and visited, and the setting, the actual villas, the price (rent not buy) and the "feel" of the place, and we decided right away to go for it, rather than put it off for a few years. [Name removed] was responsive to all the phone calls over the next year while our Villa was being built, and from the moment we moved into, we were astounded at everything about the place. As people moved in around us to all the new Villas, things became more and more like home. I'm sure there is someone here who is not happy; I just haven't met one. What a gift to have found this place!

Excellent choice..... My father was isolated lonely and did not want anything to do with a community. The residents and staff made him feel welcome and for the first time in a long time he feels a sense of purpose. I feel like this is my family now and so does dad! Thank you Atria Penfield.

Mom and Dad received a lot of love from the staff. They treated our parents as family and welcomed all of us when we went to visit (5 kids, grand kids and their families, and other relatives). Parents went into Fox Trail at Thanksgiving. Mom ended up in the hospital with a heart condition and passed away. Dad ended up in the hospital a month later with a medical issue. These last few days as dad went from the hospital back to Fox Trail on hospice as his life was winding down, the staff took excellent care of him. They tended him as one of their own, kept him comfortable, fed him ice cream (he couldn't eat) and took care of his needs. They cried with us, prayed with us, and hugged us too. The small size of Fox Trail was a bonus for our parents. Dad had dementia, but Mom didn't, and they would take him for a walk in the hall at night and do activities with him if he kept Mom up, so she could sleep. All of our family was very pleased with the service our parents received while at Fox Trail. I worked in senior care for 20+ years and was very impressed with the facility and staff.

Atria Penfield staff did a great job explaining to our family the services and support they provide. We visited many facilities and found Atria to be the best for her. Mom has really adjusted well and is back to her old self. The staff is so caring and supportive.

The staff is extremely helpful and caring. I could not imagine anything else they could do for my mom or me. My mom repeatedly has stated how nice and quiet it is there. It is clean, they provide delicious food and the staff it is wonderful. There are many appropriate activities and interesting outings. I highly recommend the Legacy at Maiden Park.

[Name removed] has been a true inspiration in helping me consider Deane Hill Place. Unfortunately, my mother fell and broke 3 ribs. Was hospitalized 2 days later with pneumonia and the hospital emphasized which assisted living facility for her to go to. I had to follow their instruction but [name removed] has stayed in touch and often checked on how my mother is doing. He is a true asset to Deane Hill Place! He really shows care and when I speak to him, I feel like I'm talking to a good friend! Had a great tour with [name removed] and [name removed]. The staff is very friendly and upbeat. The residents looked happy. The rooms were adequate in size, although the closets were quite small. The food looked appetizing, although I didn't taste it. The price is all inclusive, there is a move in fee, the cable package can be individually upgraded, the decor and ambiance of the whole place is very pleasing, there is an inner courtyard, there is more than one area to gather if families come to visit. LOVED this place, it's at the top of my list.

Being a caregiver to one of your residents was a great experience for me. [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] (housekeeping) were all very pleasant, courteous, and helpful to [name removed] and myself. As [name removed] was failing [name removed] kept me updated on her condition each day I arrived. This was so meaningful to me knowing [name removed]'s condition helped me so I could appropriately care for [name removed] during her last days. [name removed] was a super activity person in the memory care area. [name removed] and I were happy for her promotion, but we missed her interaction, positive attitude and caring nature she show each resident. Very pleased with my visit. The tour, the staff and the site gave me a sense of community and felt like a home. The activities, the menu/food, and the close knit residents were big positives.

The staff at Travanse has gone above the minimum standards to ensure my father stays busy in meaningful ways and involves him in a daily, structured routine that helps with the challenges he faces. It has been a challeging year to see what my father faces with Alzheimers. It makes it a little easier when I know the staff at Travanse cares about his safety, wellbeing and happiness. The daily activities and various outings helps to bring a smile to my dad's face so he can still experience the simple joys in life and they try to tailor them to his specific needs. From the moment you walk in the front door, you are met with a smile. The staff is also very eager to meet any new requests that you may have to help out your loved one and to make the time they have with them different from others. I would highly recommend a visit to Travanse for anyone seeking an environment for their loved where they know they will be well cared for!

We are very happy in the care Mom is given. She looks brighter, cleaner and her appearance much better. She is kept busy and that’s what she likes. Thank you Just an added note: I know it is hard for her to eat more of a variety, but at her age we are happy she is eating.

Having a family member go to a Memory Care home is never an easy decision. Sometimes it is a must. Travance has made the transition as easy as possible. Mom is doing so much better there. She has come off Hospice care and has really started enjoying the activities there. It has helped me to rest easy knowing she is safe and comfortable. Both of parents lived here, now just my mom, and I only have good things to say about Dean Hill Place. These are people who care, from top to bottom, the staff is friendly, engaging and committed to providing a great experience for our family. The cottage style accommodation is perfect, with a comfortable private residence and common living & dining areas. Thanks for all you do!
