I'm sure it has been as hard on everyone as it has for us to not be able to visit their grandma or grandpa, mom or dad during COVID. We have been able to set up calls and Facetimes with my grandma, and the staff has always always answered or returned my calls in an effort to keep us informed on how she's doing if we've been worrying. I really want to thank the staff for all they have done during this difficult time, and for putting themselves at risk every day to make sure their residents are taken care of and families are kept informed.

There’s not enough words for me to say about Fox Trail. My mother has been a long time resident. All the employees are super great and understanding. When I was searching for a place for my mother I looked at so many different places when I got to Fox Trail I just knew that this was the place where my mom was meant to be. The food is great! it’s my mothers favorite times of the day and she also loves to do their activities bingo arts and crafts she loves them all. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for taking care of my mother so well.I appreciate everything that the staff do for her on a daily basis!

Moving our mom was a huge decision, but the minute we walked in to Atria we felt comfortable and welcomed by the staff and the residents. There has not been one day since our mother moved in that she wishes she were still at home, that's how happy she is there. We really feel that the staff have become an extension of our family at this point. Atria really gives us peace of mind.

Like many of you, our mother along with many other moms, grandmothers, aunts, uncles and friends are living in Assisted Living facilities all over the country. During this dark time in our history, we can only hope and pray that our loved ones remain healthy and safe. [Name removed] and his staff at The Villa at Westhampton have left no stone unturned when it comes to the protection of our loved ones. They have taken every step necessary and implemented procedures that have continued to keep the residents at The Villa thriving, even under difficult circumstances. The case manager, admission officer, nursing staff, aides, activities staff, kitchen staff, as well as the cleaning staff have all risen to the occasion to accommodate the needs of the residents. Additionally, [name removed] sends us daily updates to keep us informed as to the daily well-being of our loved ones. They have the best care that we could possibly hope for and consider them our local heroes. Thank you to [name removed] and the entire staff of The Villa for all your expert care during this health crisis. You are all awesome!!!!

An overall well thought out community with nice facilities. We were impressed at their attention to detail.

The staff have compassionate and are well-trained to address a wide range of elderly needs. With a genuine desire to assist the elderly. They have a very well written care plan for my mom. They offer various programs and activities in order to enhance the physical, spiritual, social and intellectual aspects of the residents. They go out at Christmas to see the festival of lights, fine out, shopping trips ect. I sampled the food and it was delicious! The dinning is nice the kitchen is clean, they will go to each person to make sure they get what they want . The residents communicate with each other nicely they have a way of getting them to know one another it's beautiful. They take safety measures seriously,such as call buttons no trip hazardous items. I'm excited about the outdoor areas ?? it's so beautiful. They several areas you can just sit and talk. They did a great job of picking people to live there they mix very nice together. Could imagine anything better. My mom has become very diversed, and constantly teaching others about diversity. She's changed for the good and she loves it!! She said "I'm never leaving the place"! She loves the staff and so do I. They actually helped me also, so passionate. Here's the woman that gave everyone a go for the money and wanted to come back home with me unbelievable. When we take her out for the day she can't wait to get back to her friends. I would recommend The Legacy at Maiden Lane is a great place to live & visit they have become our extended family! You can feel the love when you enter the door. They helped my mom get her life back.

I was expecting to be neutral, but have nothing but positive things to say.

Facility was everything I would want. Immaculate. Residents seemed content.Everyone I spoke with, from the staff, seemed warm and genuine. Now comes the hard part... that being convincing my mom why this would be better fir her.

[Name removed] has a helpful caring team that provide individualized care to every resident. Staff go out of their way to ensure needs are not only met but exceptionally met!

It's not easy to find the words to express my gratitude for the care and support my mother, now 87, has received at The Villa at Westhampton. It's a wonderful place, with excellent food, amenities, and activities. But it's the staff who make it really special, combining professionalism with warmth, tact, patience, and compassion. Although I'm 3,000 miles away, I visit as often as I can, and my sister is there almost everyday. We're confident that our mother is receiving the best care she could possibly have, and that is a blessed feeling.

The Villa at Westhampton is a wonderful new home for my mom who had to move from her own cherished house built by my father nearly sixty years ago. It was an emotional move for her and my sister, but my mother needed to be in assisted living since she was losing her ability to live alone. She adjusted beautifully because of the lovely and professionally built environment, the kind and caring staff at every level, the programs and activities, and best of all we know that she has a network of people who will be there if she needs anything. The Villa is truly a caring community. Highly recommend it to a loved one.

I loved Legacy at Erie Station! Really nice apartments and wonderful amenities. Only drawback for me is there isn't Memory Care transition on-site, but they did say they assist you in placing your loved one somewhere should they come to need it.

my mother really like this place. until this visit, she was hesitant about needing to be in a senior living facility. the visit to this center changed her mind!

Our experience with the Atria was overwhelmingly positive. Mom ended up staying only a couple of months before going to hospice, but the staff and residents were all very friendly, considerate and helpful. We did not realize she would decline so rapidly and were seriously sorry that her stay was as short as it was. We had been looking forward to mom participating in many of the activities, and were especially looking forward to having her love of food and cooking become a part of the activities. Truly, they went out of their way to incorporate and encourage her. I would recommend it highly!

My family was in a panic when my 98-year-old mom was about to be released from a rehabilitation facility and we had no idea where she would be placed. We were so anxious and nervous. One of the social workers at the rehabilitation center recommended Fox Trail Assisted Living in Deptford, NJ. From the very first time that my brother and I set foot in Fox Trail we knew this was the place for mom. It is not a new facility but it is well kept with much dedication shown by the maintenance worker, [name removed], whom we immediately liked on our very first visit. We had the utmost pleasure of meeting [name removed], the Executive Director and [name removed], the Assistant Executive Director who immediately put us at ease. . They took us on a tour of the facilities while introducing us to various workers along the way. Everyone seemed to be friendly and supportive. The units were beautiful and cozy, the dining areas were quite spacious and the TV room and living room were so welcoming. Plus, the building was extremely clean and there were no smells of any kind. We also liked the fact that there were only 24-26 residents in each of the two buildings which meant that there was no overcrowding and the residents would be given more personal care. After deciding that this was the place where we wanted mom to call home, [name removed] and [name removed] sat down with us and helped us every step of the way with the admissions application. They thoroughly explained everything and answered each and every one of our many questions. There was a little concern over the long term payment situation and the two women suggested that we apply to the Veterans Administration for mom's spousal benefits through our dad. They presented us with the people to contact and I returned home to begin filling out the long application. After completing as much of the VA application as I could, my brother and I returned to Fox Trail to seek out assistance. [Name removed] and [name removed] both greeted us with hugs, dropped whatever they were doing, immediately sat down with us and went over the many, many forms just to make sure that they were all filled out correctly. It was an emotional experience where we both laughed and cried. But, what a most memorable experience! A few months have now passed and things are as wonderful now as they were one day one. [Name removed] and [name removed] always have time for your concerns and questions. We are talking about two very special people here. NEVER have I encountered two human beings who will bend over backwards for you. I would give these two women a rating of A+. Our mother has been a resident at Fox Trail for four months and she loves it there as I have been told by her many times. She has become friendly with everyone there and looks far better now than when she first came to the facility. She loves her room, the food, the activities, the care she is given and the people. I mean, really, can you realistically ask for anything more? I give Fox Trail Assisted Living a rating of A+.

My wife and I searched the web for a continuing care, or close to that, throughout NY state. In addition we checked out such facilities in Maryland and PA. After four years of careful searching, we found Legacy at Fairways, here in Victor. Our first impression was of the warmth and caring of the manager/sales person, [name removed]. We then compared these facilities with all the ones we had read about and visited, and the setting, the actual villas, the price (rent not buy) and the "feel" of the place, and we decided right away to go for it, rather than put it off for a few years. [Name removed] was responsive to all the phone calls over the next year while our Villa was being built, and from the moment we moved into, we were astounded at everything about the place. As people moved in around us to all the new Villas, things became more and more like home. I'm sure there is someone here who is not happy; I just haven't met one. What a gift to have found this place!

Excellent choice..... My father was isolated lonely and did not want anything to do with a community. The residents and staff made him feel welcome and for the first time in a long time he feels a sense of purpose. I feel like this is my family now and so does dad! Thank you Atria Penfield.

Mom and Dad received a lot of love from the staff. They treated our parents as family and welcomed all of us when we went to visit (5 kids, grand kids and their families, and other relatives). Parents went into Fox Trail at Thanksgiving. Mom ended up in the hospital with a heart condition and passed away. Dad ended up in the hospital a month later with a medical issue. These last few days as dad went from the hospital back to Fox Trail on hospice as his life was winding down, the staff took excellent care of him. They tended him as one of their own, kept him comfortable, fed him ice cream (he couldn't eat) and took care of his needs. They cried with us, prayed with us, and hugged us too. The small size of Fox Trail was a bonus for our parents. Dad had dementia, but Mom didn't, and they would take him for a walk in the hall at night and do activities with him if he kept Mom up, so she could sleep. All of our family was very pleased with the service our parents received while at Fox Trail. I worked in senior care for 20+ years and was very impressed with the facility and staff.

Atria Penfield staff did a great job explaining to our family the services and support they provide. We visited many facilities and found Atria to be the best for her. Mom has really adjusted well and is back to her old self. The staff is so caring and supportive.
