My visit to North Woods Village left a lasting impression. The staff were polite, helpful and welcoming. The executive's extensive knowledge and informative approach put my mind at ease, making me feel more confident about making a decision to bring a parent to this facility

I appreciate the consistency of staff. Attention to detail is really second to none. I always appreciate how clean the facility is. They do a super job.

Response to call cords slow, laundry service inconsistent. Beautiful facility, food is good. Hindsight, wish we had used a combined facility (assisted living and memory care).

We thought the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The facility was comfortable and secure. We highly recommend the Residences at Deer Creek

They had structural issues where every time it rained the floors would flood with water and that happened a lot. That was the main negative of the experience and my mom's feet would get wet constantly. The care and activities were good and mom liked it there in spite of her apprehensions of being in a home.

The facility is very nice and the layout is excellent. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff caring for my dad were excellent, we were very blessed to have one nurse that was outstanding. The problem with the staffing is not enough and too many people pulling doubles. Nights, weekends and Holidays are a real problem which I shared with the director several times. The other area for improvement is with the activities. Too few and not well executed.

What makes the difference between one assisted living facility and another? It's the people who work there! Our mother has been at Residences at Coffee Creek for roughly 4 years. Over that time she has experienced the challenges associated with the pandemic and the inevitable turnover of employees. She has also had her own ups and downs with her health including a recent 9 day hospital stay, plus another 14 days in rehab to help her with her recovery. Over that entire period the people at Coffee Creek reached out to her and our family to check up on her progress. This even included a personal phone call to me (son) from one of fine and caring nurses on staff (name removed) at 8PM one night to get an update and to start planning for Mom's return needs. So, while decent food options, fancy architecture, and various activities, are all very nice amenities, the real measure of a good assisted living facility should be based on the people who work there. Like the Residence at Coffee Creek!

Hospice eyes are helpful on all aspects. That made a huge impact.

We chose it because it was clean, convenient location, excellent set up with hallway that never ends (circle) so perfect for my loved one who walks, pretty courtyard, and nice staff. While I think there is room for improvement, ie. more activities, more consistent aid with helping my loved one get dressed into clean clothes, closer eye on making sure prn anxiety meds aren't needed for restlessness.

It`s a Nice Place, But They need to hire more people to work there, I can`t tell you how many Times, I`ve tried to reach my Dad and no one was there to answer the phone. Perhaps they need to pay the workers there more money.

It's mostly fine. There has been a big staff turnover. We picked this community because, it was the cheapest, but still expensive.

Be sure, to check on your loved ones all the time.

We were very impressed with our tour we had at North Woods Village at Edison Lakes. The facility and the staff were great - we liked everything that we saw. Unfortunately the locaiton of the facility was way far away from us. Mom felt more comfortable being close so that way we could get there quickly if needed and so we could visit her more often.

I was impressed with this community. This community did not have any openings at the time that we were looking for somewhere for my loved one to go. They had a wait list but no openings at the time.

We chose The Residences at Coffee Creek because it seemed like the safest facility we looked at and the location is very close to my home. The staff are really good but the activities could definitely be improved. Overall we would recommend them to others looking.

The community does a good job with keeping everything clean and keeping the surfaces wiped down. Most of the staff is very friendly and know me by name and are communicative with me about my mother's care. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, they had a lot of outside entertainment available and evening and daytime activities as well. We think North Woods Village is a fair value for the price.

I was able to go on a tour here and we really enjoyed ourselves. They have a nice facility here and what we really liked was that they have a garden in the central part of the community for the residents to enjoy. The residents can also walk around outdoors. The main entrance offers sitting for people to enjoy the whole community.

We toured this facility when we were looking into care options for our loved ones. I thought this was a very nice looking place overall. The facility was clean and well kept, and the staff seemed friendly.

It is quite difficult to score a couple of the categories. My mother functions at the high end of the guests that live there. There are so many severely compromised guests that are non-communitive that sometimes mom has difficulty fitting in. All in all, my sister and I are satisfied with her care. I wish there was a way to encourage her to bathe more often. SHE SMELLS! Not a reflection on your staff but her body odor is bad and her bathing habits are lacking.

The positives are: Cleanliness Very good food Beautiful facility including spacious rooms, along with a secured courtyard and three sunrooms. Holiday dinners and seasonal activities set up for residents and families Negatives: High turnover rate of aides Lack of training results in falls, lack of consistent hydration, absence of important charting ie sleep schedule, food intake, bowel movements, etc Lack of Director of nursing >6 months. Typically only LPNs along with exception of one RN in staff currently Lack of supervision of residents. Not always an aide or nurse with eyes on residents
