Westmont Living

So far- so good. Like everyone they have staffing issues, but ALL of the employees and on site management are very kind and hard working. It's not always perfect, but I believe they honestly try. My Mother seems happy (most of the time) I feel that she's safe, and well taken care of. There is room for improvement, but the staff is trying and I believe things are going to get even better. It's a nice, newer, not to big facility that is well located. [name removed], the facility manager is a very caring, hard working man. This labor market and inflationary economics have made his job even harder. He's a good, ethical man. He works tirelessly to cover all the bases.

We chose The Oaks at Paso Robles because it was the cleanest and we really liked the set up, it was much easier for mom to get around. The atmosphere is also very nice and modern. I would recommend this facility to others as long as you can afford it, it is on the upper end of the price scale, but we feel it is worth it.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the experience was very nice, all the of staff were very friendly and this was one of our top choices.

It was a beautiful community and looked like a resort. It was an amazing location but wasn't a good fit for my loved one.

I toured this community and it was beautiful. Very clean and friendly atmosphere, but the cost was a lot higher than some of the other options available in the area.

We're very pleased with the facility. It's very clean and well kept. The executive director recently left and they're going through a change in staff now. The grounds outside weren't looking good, but they've improved that a lot lately and it looks so much better. The food is actually pretty good. My only concern is the dining area. They used to serve the residents at their tables, but now it's buffet style. That makes it harder for residents using walkers or who don't get around well to join the dining room. As a result, a lot of them have chosen to eat in their rooms instead of joining the dining room. When mom had Covid, they took great care of her and checked on her often. We made a good decision moving her here and she's very happy. I would recommend them to friends and family.

It's a wonderful place. There is lots of things to do. The food is very good. They treat you like adults.

Pretty clean. People are very friendly. The staff is okay. They are very helpful and compassionate. The food is standard fair, I can't be real concerned about the nutrition part. As long as my wife is happy enough with the food. Nothing adequate. I am disappointed, they let her go to bed instead of engaging in activities. They need to enforce participation. I can't go to many other places that is reasonable. They have two different floor plans in the memory care area. My wife's floor plan, there is no bathroom in the entrance door. It's not real conducive. She has to come out of her room to go to the bathroom and sink, which is exposed to the outside. Overall it's great, but a couple of employees needs to be more customer-oriented, and I prefer another room for my wife.

We had a great tour experience with Westmont of Cypress. The facility is new and absolutely beautiful - especially the grounds. Unfortunately the price is what got us, it was just too expensive.

This was a beautiful community. It was more expensive than we wanted to spend.

I liked Westmont of Morgan Hill because it was a little bit out in farm country. But they were building a huge shopping plaza down the road, which my loved one felt would have spoiled the view. It all just depends on what you're looking for.

This has been a good experience for my dad and I would highly recommend this community for you or your loved one. They have activities like a navigator program for the residents with MCI, a happy hour, and also weekly outings in the community and more to keep the residents busy. They also have movie time, afternoon community game time and lots of holiday activities. The staff are great and always available I am very favorable of them.

We chose Westmont at San Miguel Ranch because of the facility itself, it is very nice and well kept and I just got a good feeling from the people that I met here. It is very clean, warm and welcoming. They were very good at communicating and answering all of our questions. The size of the rooms are very nice. They also have a lot of activities provided for residents as well. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

The cost was too much for us.

The Terraces Senior Living is the nicest place that we looked at, and the value for cost isn't to outrageous, our loved one can afford it. The meals and dining service is also excellent. The residents we saw on the tour were genuinely happy to be there.

We chose Westmont of Morgan Hill because it was closer to my work so I could visit often and it also had more of a hotel-resort like feel rather than an institutional clinical feel. The staff is very friendly, management may be a little overwhelmed so you do not see them as much but med techs and care staff are very helpful. The food tends to be pretty good, I know that they are having some issues keeping a cook and wait staff. I would recommend to others looking. It is expensive but we have been very happy with our experience.

Having had no preparation or expectation that I would be having to locate an assisted living/mental care facility for my spouse in a short period of time, I was dazed. The staff at Mariposa walked me through the facility, explaining everything and applied no pressure. Basically they gave me the confidence to let them take control and lead me though the changes which I would be needing to expect. It was difficult to gradually turn over control of everything, including laundry to strangers, but my spouse was becoming a stranger and the old rules no longer held. At first, he was put in an assisted living room, but it became obvious that he needed to be moved to the mental care unit. They got me in touch with Central Coast Hospice who would be handling his medical needs and my confidence in them was immediate. My spouse gradually began to accept them and the changes. All of the staff have been respectful and their concern seems to be for both his and my wellbeing.

Overall it is pretty good. They have communication problems in regards with the residents and the resident's families. It would be nice to see more ability to communicate with the staff and dining for my loved one, as they say there is a lack of fresh fruits and vegetables. They've been short staffed the entire time my loved one has been here.

The staff members for the most part are very friendly, and the only real care services our loved one needs is the house keeping and meal service. Westmont Village is also the only community that has a full kitchen which is exactly what our loved one had requested. From our understanding she enjoys the meals. The activities are still limited and not full opened. The pool is not opened yet, but they do offer great physical therapy. When the activities are fully opened they still limit the number of residents that can participate.
