The people here are really nice. The activities are good. Everything here is good for me. I love it!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them for memory care.

I would definitely recommend it. Other relatives of ours have moved there. My mother in law wanted more independence and has moved out into one of the little houses on the campus. It's still Westmont. Now she fixes her own food and drives herself to the doctor. She refuses to wear an emergency button but we can't do anything about that. What we really like the best about it is the ability for her to move into more care or less care as she requires it.

The activities are varied and well organized. The leaders are very caring and friendly. The office staff are knowledgeable and helpful

I have recommended it to a number of people.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Westmat at Cypress. The staff is pleasant overall The site is beautiful. I do have concerns regarding the rates of caregivers to the needs of residents

My loved one is very happy at Westmont of Encinitas. They've had their issues with adequate staffing esp. caregivers. But she's made many friends, stays active, food is really good(4 out of 5) and she's only minutes from us (kids)

Over all cleanliness was above average. My only 'complaint' was they had a difficult time with the weekly house cleaning. The hk left and it took a while to replace and mom's apt was skipped a few times over a couple of months. It took too long, they should have hired a temp agency. It is a safe place. I would live there.

The Westmont of La Mesa is a beautiful community that is kept clean and has friendly staff working there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

The dietary staff is wonderful as are the RA's. The facility itself is clean as a whistle. They treat my loved one with respect.

My loved one unfortunately passed away after a few months. We initially chose Westmont of Riverside over the other facilities that we looked at because of the value for the money as well as the nice sized rooms . The staff and residents were all very friendly.

I love the friendliness and accessibility of staff by text message. That's great. My experience has been generally positive, with an emphasis on excellent communication.

I like that it is a small community so it's easy for residents to bond. Staff is kind. I also like the location. The things I like least is that they don't have a rolling warmer so food arrives to the table like warm or cold. Even my kids lunch program had a rolling warmer to ensure food could be consumed at the right temperature. Also there are times when the actual meal doesn't quite match the menu description Like other care and service facilities, they go thru phases of high staff turnover. That is tough in this environment. I think they could benefit from evening security or do better at screening residents who should be in memory care but are in independent or assisted living.

In August, we will have been in residence at Westmont for nine years. The Facility Director, was first to greet us, and he made us feel very welcome. We were initially attracted by the beauty of the facility and its location in Morgan Hill Since then, we have become even more fond of the facility, and we have learned to love the gifted staff that serves us. Our apartment is beautiful and spacious. And the high ceilings make it feel more spacious than it really is. We are glad we came to Westmont’ Living, and we would do it again.

I believe they are honestly concerned about my mom. It's not a big facility & not a lot of residents in each wing. I am kept up to date if I can't get there for a couple days. The residents wait in the living room until the doors open up for activities in the "town square". The food is good but sometimes come out cold. I have asked for the aids to warm up my mom's food in microwave before giving it to her & that pretty much takes care of it. Over all I really appreciate the aids & med-techs.

All in all, we are pretty happy with my loved one's placement. Her caregivers are wonderful, warm, and friendly. However, my loved one really doesn't like the food. It's high carb, not a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. She's diabetic and there are many things she just doesn't get served and not a lot of healthy substitutions are available-so when family members visit we bring fresh fruits and veggies she can eat.

I would say do your homework and we picked Westmont for it's proximity to us.

Generally it's a nice place for my mom. The food could be better, it's not the best. The staff are generally nice, but sometimes they can be short and have a little attitude. I understand it though, it can't be easy working in that environment. There are plenty of activities, but not a ton of participation by the residents. Not sure if it's mobility issues or just not interested, but my mom is definitely engaged. I think of all the places we saw this place felt the most homey and we liked that it was smaller and had a good diverse community. I would recommend this place to others. Moving in was simple, although there was a lot of paperwork. There was a miscommunication about what room was available for her, which was very unfortunate but she got over that disappointment. She is happy there the majority of the time, which I would say is a win.

What our family likes the most about the community is that (after a short period of adjustment) mom is happy there. The people are all nice and they take good care of her. It's nice to see mom happy and well taken care of. You folks were very helpful.

I've talked to several people about the quality of the food at the memory care residence. It's always warm to cold & I'm constantly asking for it to be warmed up. I know that a lot of the residents don't care if the meal is seasoned, but my mom is always complaining. I know the aids/girls serving have nothing to do with this, but they get the brunt of complaints & harassment from the residents. Speaking of the girls, the new admin has made a lot of changes & drove many of the help away. They were good workers & wonderful to the residents. Its hard for my mom cuz just when she felt comfortable with a couple of the girls, they quit & mom has to get to know different girls. I wish the new administration would make it worth the aids time & show them more appreciation for what they do. The ones still around are all wonderful. I love the nurses. They've had to pull a lot of weight due to the head nurse being out on medical leave. They've been doing a great job. Also, the activities director Lucia is soooo good with my mom & other residents. She will always go a little extra to make sure my mom comes out & doesn't just sit in her room. Overall, things are good. Mom has even made a friend or two. I've enjoyed talking & making "friends" with many of the residents. I do like Westmont & hope the new admin can get things worked out & everyone can feel good about working there again. (:
