The staff there for the most part is very kind and accommodating to the residents. Activities director, front desk, handyman, are all very helpful. I had some issues with the director and a few senior staff at the beginning, communication was not great. But the director has left I believe since then.

I only rated overall as a 4 as the communication could be better for memory care, although my mom moved in under a bit of emergency situation so I didn't perhaps get the lay of the land before she was transferred. I am still trying to understand some of the processes, who I should call, etc. Everybody is so friendly. My mom has not had anything bad to say about the staff, and comments that they are very kind and they seem very attentive when I am there visiting. She likes having her own room and seems to like the food.

I placed my mom here when her dementia got too bad for her to continue living independently. I toured 5 different facilities and Westmont was by far the best. It has a lot of amenities and the staff are great. Any concern I've had was immediately addressed. They keep me informed of any issues or problems. I love that my mom can get her hair done and get a manicure/pedicure without leaving. They also have a dr that comes once a week if you have insurance they accept. [name removed], the case manager always makes time for me whether I'm just checking or asking about something my mother has told me that needs clarification. It's not an easy decision to put a loved one in a facility, but it makes it easier when you know they are being taken care of and you don't have to worry so much.

We expected a little more after we moved Mom into the facility. We were told that she would have open meals for the first 90 days and they encouraged us to come in and have dinner with her. Which we did on occasion before she got her meal tickets we were charged so that was kind of strange. Also, she was supposed to have a concierge show her around. They were missing each other. She had some errands to run and nobody ever followed up. All in all, it's a great place. However, the promise at the time of the lease signing is not how it played out.

Westmont at San Miguel Ranch, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome and at home. The community itself is beautifully maintained, with modern amenities that promote a comfortable and engaging lifestyle. I loved exploring the spacious living areas and common facilities, which are designed to encourage social interaction among residents. During the tour, I also learned about the various activities and programs offered, which cater to diverse interests and needs. It's clear that the staff is dedicated to creating a vibrant and supportive community environment. Just a little bit pricey for our budget and the care that my father needed.

Their main goal is to make my mom and the other residence as comfortable as possible and to try to interact with other residents. There have been times when their food shows up lukewarm or sometimes even cold so that is if anything one of the complaints that we do hear from other residents at the facilities, the food sometimes But I don't want to base everything that else that they do for mom on just the food right!

The activities received an N/A because my loved one did not participate in the activities. The facilities are nice and the rooms are a good size. I think the only issue we had was with the staff that handed out medication. We needed a prescription for things like Tylenol. It was a bit frustrating.

Everyone is very friendly and responsive. I thought my mom would spend all her time in her room. My hope was within a few months she might go to one meal a week or one activity a week. Prior to moving in she had been sitting in her home not wanting to socialize or even leave the house for a few minutes. The first day she went to a meal. The first week to a painting class. She has been there for 3 months and goes to 2 meals a day and 1-3 activities a week (painting class, bingo, crafts.) She is walking better and moving faster. She fought going but finally decided too. She has added years to her life!!

We placed my mother in Westmont Memory Care. They had a bouquet of balloons outside her apartment and welcomed us with enthusiasm. As a family we did an activity and sat outside on the patio and talked to the other residents. Slowly we left. We were given the Med-Tech phone number to call so we could get updates on how she was adjusting. For the next few days she was kept busy and in less than a week she was 70% acclimated to where family (her husband) could visit.

Admin did not follow through on some important issues. Care givers were great, but understandably over worked.

The looks of the property looks nice inside and out. Much of the staff are very nice. I really enjoy the exercise classes and the arts and crafts. Dining can improve need more staff in the kitchen and on the floor to serve the food. The wait is much too long to have your order taken and for food to arrive.

Independent Living accommodation...good. cleanliness and friendliness...good. We are having problems with assisted living charges

The place is new which is a plus. Staff are friendly and I think are over worked. I think it is hard to get staffing for retirement communities so they see a bit short staffed. we appreciate the flexibility of independent living but with some services and no buy-in. Also nice to know additional help is available if needed.

Overall, it's been a good experience with the staff being prepared and responsive. We liked how small it was, how homey and personal it was and the cost was significantly less than other places

I like my fellow residents and I like the exercise program. The apartments are very nice. They are short staffed and sometimes we have to wait 1 1/2 hours to get our dinner. The WIFI and cable are terrible. From what I've learned from people who have lived here for a long time, things are going downhill.

Everyone here at Westmont is great. Super friendly and helpful. Our move in was flawless due to the professionalism of the staff. We would recommend this senior living facility to anyone looking for a place to spend their golden years.

So use this a beautiful place and they all try hard to make things work very good for the most part. For one I feel safe here. I usually walk around the community during the morning and afternoons. In addition, the fitness is always available for us to use.

If a friend asked about my experience I would say that overall, it has been mostly positive. I would like the communication to flow more smoothly between myself and my mom's caregivers. As her mental decline continues, we rely heavily on the people who are with her daily to help support her in any way possible, and to the level that we would do ourselves. I would recommend this place to others, but I would also greatly encourage them to make sure they communicate what they feel there elder family member needs, and that they follow up and expect responses in a timely manner. The staff has been amazing so communication is truly my only concern.

I am an independent living resident. That means I have a sense of guiding my own ship with help from others. Staff is generally kind, informative, and try to individualize one.There are voluntary activities and transportation provided for shopping, medical care, post office etc. The staff is willing to listen and work out any problems. Bottom line, this has been a good decision for me…
